So many spinning thoughts with a heart that is wounded and fragile. This whirlwind edition took me hostage and played with my emotions. Endlessly. There were so many poignant moments that stole the breath from my body. And dialogue that is absolutely unforgettable.
This is a tragic love triangle that won't leave you unaffected as it yanks your heartstrings in separate directions. But guys!! Castian is superb and the total book boyfriend package! If I have to choose, Mr. Broody Vamp is my choice. Sorry Asher, you're delicious, but you let our girl linger so many times...
I love this series, and it's one that I'll be rereading again and again. It's beautifully written with stunning scenes, and the angst is top-notch. If YA is your thing, devour these books! You'll be thanking me. You're welcome.

Best book of the series so far. They continue to get better and better. This one has a little more spice than the other two but no complaints. I like a clean read and she made it a spicy clean. My compliments to the chef, I mean author. The entire book was fabulous, except those last few paragraphs. You know what you did Brandi. -_-

Wow great slwo burn
Wow, I wasn't expecting this book to go in this direction, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Amazing love triangle and a great slow burn. It goes without saying I can't wait for the next book and I'm not sure what team I'm on in terms of Castian or Asher.

best book of the series
Well written. Def team Castian. Very excited for next book in the series, will be reading the authors other series in the meantime. I’m glad the writing improved over the last three books.

I absolutely love this series, and so far, this is my favorite out of the three. I will say there are a few twists I didn't expect, but they definitely made the story more captivating. I could not put the book down.
The storyline and plot are amazing, and the character development is A+++. We get to continue to story with most of the same characters from books 1 and 2, and then there are a few new players that are thrown into the mix. I am absolutely enthralled that we get to see Riley's mom again! I can't wait to see how their relationship blossoms now that they are over the hump of secrets and lies.
Castian or Asher? The brooding half psychotic vampire or the passionate but flip floppy shadowbringer? Husband vs. Soulmate? Oh, goodness. I truthfully just wish Riley did not have to choose between the two. Why can't she just have them both? She's already an enigma - why not add that she has two soulmates as well, haha. If I HAD to choose, it would be Castian, I truthfully think he cares more authentically for Riley and that she cares more for him. Asher may be her "soulmate," but even without a bond, the love and affection Riley and Castian share is jaw-dropping.
The extremists are getting desperate for Riley, and all types of groups come out of nowhere to try and get to her. Some groups want the bounty reward for bringing her to the extremists- others just want her dead because of her new abilities, and others want to create more supernaturals with her abilities to get rid of extremists AND humans. Who will come out on top?
The war that is coming is breathing down everyone's necks. Not to mention, Castian still has not found his niece and nephew. Will he get to them in time?
I will be patiently waiting for the next book to come out! I can't wait to see what happens to everyone!
