The novella is a coming of age book about friends and card games that is heavily anime vibes. As a short book it is more targeted to teenagers and would be enjoyable to people into anime. I enjoyed the growth Summer has as she makes new friends and learns to not only play the complicated card game but master it in a short time span. There is major scope of this developing into a full novel with more focus on individual character growth and interpersonal relationship development. The card game itself is also quite intriguing 🫶🏻 Would recommend if you are looking for a light read about teenage friendship ❤️
