In this book, Wesley Brown, Jr. , one of the “big names” from the WWII hand-to-hand and close combat stable of master instructors lays out his knowledge and expertise in what many consider a classic of the time period.Brown does not dilute the techniques and tactics that he presents in this book, in the least from what he learned and trained for in the U.S. Navy. He describes and illustrates a terrific course of instruction in no nonsense self-defense in what should be essential reading for anyone interested in hand-to-hand combat.Beginning with a chapter on fundamentals, Brown goes into a description of some useful, effective, and helpful moves that can be applied by just about anyone. Chapters include The Unarmed Opponent, The Armed Opponent, Club Maneuvers For A Police Officer, and more . . . . . !
