La doctora Maribel Heredia sigue manteniendo una relación de amor-odio con la doctora Márquez. Llevan semanas sin verse y las dos se niegan a dar un solo paso hacia la otra.
Eso cambia tras un encuentro casual en el supermercado. Por mucho que lo niegan, la conexión es inevitable y acaban en el hotel de Estel.
Ambas están seguras de que solo se trata de eso, hasta que la gitana se ve envuelta en medio de un conflicto familiar que la pondrá en el punto de mira de la implacable inspectora Blanco.
Ese giro inesperado estrechará lazos entre las dos doctoras de un modo que ninguna había previsto, por lo que ahora también se enfrentarán a los sentimientos que se han estado negando mientras resuelven el problema de Maribel.

We return to the same hospital from the previous book ‘Dr Teloy’. Maribel is a paediatric doctor, and Estel is a doctor in the ER department. Vania and Arlet from the previous book make long appearances here.
This is a good, interesting story. However I don’t think it is as good as other books by the same author. Maribel is the best character - we see her struggles and the pressure brought on by her family expectations. The relationship between Maribel and Estel always seems fraught and superficial, and I really don’t think this is explored enough; we only really see the surface.
Several times Maribel uses the wrong name - Vania instead of Estel. Also the whole story is written in a changing first person, so it is sometimes difficult to know who is speaking, especially when the names are confused. I wonder how many of these issues are from translation, and how many from the original Spanish language version.
Overall, a story worth reading, but not on my ‘must read’ list.

entretenido
Me pareció muy bueno, la familia de la gitana un poco egoísta y la mentalidad y la perspectiva de las personas sobre los gitanos , creo q fue un buen punto a tomar en cuenta.

Mónica nunca decepciona. Da un giro en la historia para la parte de Heredia que te mantiene enganchada. No solo hay romance, también incluye una trama bien trabajada. Me ha gustado mucho
