Her best friend Ella has tried to smooth the way for her, hoping she will end up staying in New York. Ella’s dad, Jeremy Aaron, immediately agreed to hire her so she would have a job. Now Ella was taking her home with her to meet her dad. But to Chloe’s shock, when the man stands up from the couch, she finds herself facing her one-night stand! And he is not very friendly. He acts harsh and demanding as they work together. But she is aware of his reaction to her despite his treatment. And apparently, she finds him difficult to ignore. When she has to tell Jeremy the result of their renewed feelings, and is overheard by Ella, how will her best friend react to hearing the truth she could not have been prepared for? Are they headed for disaster? Or will they find love and acceptance as they become a loving family?

This is the fifth book I have read by Audrey Robert and the third time I have given one of her books a three star rating. Audrey's plot for Twisted Attraction was interesting and her writing is solid. The book did grab my attention, but there were several times throughout the book I considered putting it down and never picking it back up again. I felt like I was playing ping pong when it came to whether or not I liked the characters. Jeremy the mmc was a sexy alpha male who was swoon-worthy in the looks department, but is the definition of Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde when it comes to his personality. Chloe the mfc was not only beautiful, but a very intelligent, hard working, caring and compassionate woman. Seriously though, between her sniveling, and complete lack of self-respect she made it hard to champion her. Ella was the perfect best friend until she wasn't - it turned out she could be just like her father except in her case it is Doctor Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde. Ella is a vindictive and immature person who thinks two wrongs make a right. Damien who is supposed to be Jeremy's best friend spends more time hackling him than being supportive. There is a moment where the author alludes to Damien having done something that makes him a despicable friend. It paints him as being a hypocrite as far as I am concerned. I found Anthony who was Ella's boyfriend and Tyler who was interested in Chloe to both be very likable, but whom I felt got the short end of the stick. The strength of Audrey's writing as a whole when it comes to this book is what saved it from receiving a lower star rating.

Chloe has just earned her college degree and is about to begin a new life in New York with her best friend Ella. But, first she decides it is time to head out for an evening to celebrate her hard work and get rid of her v-card. Chloe scores big when a sexy silver fox notices her. Without exchanging names or numbers the two of them share a very passionate evening together and go their separate ways...okay, maybe someone snuck out before the other one woke up. Ella managed to get Chloe a job interview at her father Jeremy's company. Now imagine the surprise on both Jeremy and Chloe's faces when Ella introduces them for the first time...his virgin - her silver fox, uh oh, Houston we have a problem. Things just went from zero to hundred in a matter of seconds and they are about to get a whole lot crazier. It won't be easy for Jeremy and Chloe to get their happily ever after together, especially if Ella stands in their way? The three of them stand to lose the most important person in their lives...each other.

I found this to be a good book, but a bit difficult to get through in some parts, particularly in the gut-wrenching emotional content of the second half. I generally like romance novels due to their light, escapist content, but not so much here. All three of the main characters were emotionally damaged and dysfunctional in some way, and throughout the book they worked those issues out. Real age gap issues can be dicey, and the over-the-top presentation here stretches credibility, but it could happen, and the author dashes you with a cold glass of water to the face in the way she explores it. I'm not sure how the two characters, Chloe and Jeremy, fall for each other. I guess the premise would be that she was a social recluse and he was pretty much the same, in his own way, and there happened to be electrifying chemistry between the two, so there was mind-numbing pleasure exchanged every time he ravished her. The male character, is pretty stereotypical of such characters (book boy friends) in these books, being tall, muscular, handsome with piercing eyes, six-pack, unsatiable sexual appetite, and a huge cock like a war club. I'm a little puzzled that he used protection during the one-night-stand, but not later when he was banging her like a screen door in a hurricane. Then it's suddenly an epiphany to her when she discovers she's pregnant after he's poured gallons of cum inside of her, but stranger things have happened, I guess. There were a few grammatical errors, but I attribute those to editing, not the author. Overall, this was a good book, but kind of a tough read. Spoiler alert: I would have liked to have seen some make-up sex, but that was left to the imagination.

There Is No Escaping Destiny -
When Chloe had her one night stand with a stranger, just so she could lost her virginity, she never expected to see him again or find out he was her best friend’s dad. Jeremy had sworn off relationships or having a family because of his childhood, so his life revolved around work , with the occasional dalliance with a woman. However, fate had plans for them and led them to embark on a secret relationship after finding each other again.

Everything was going well for them as they engaged in their secret trysts, that is until all hell broke lose, when Chloe discovered she was pregnant and tried to leave. Unfortunately, chaos ensued with a broken friendship and family drama, but as luck would have it, after some time and convincing, they were able to get the happily ever after they both deserved.

This was a fantastic story, that took me through a myriad of emotions (including crying at one point in the story), but I can say without a shadow of doubt, that it was a worthwhile read, that I will happily recommend. This book definitely deserves the five star rating.

Twisted Attraction is a steamy, OTT, instalove, age-gap, girl gets her best friend's dad, office romance. Chloe is a smart and driven girl who just graduated college. Jeremy is a hunky, grumpy billionaire and the father of her best friend, Ella. When Chloe graduates college, she decides to go to an upscale bar to celebrate. She ends up meeting Jeremy, and the two have a night of anonymous, passionate sex. The next morning, she is gone, and Jeremy is beside himself. Fast forward, Chloe moves to New York to be by Ella, and her father gives her a job as his personal assistant. When they meet, both are surprised and shaken. Their relationship is strained at best, with Jeremy being a bosshole. Their relationship runs hot and cold. When it's hot, it is HOT 🔥. Their chemistry is insane. When she ends up pregnant, things get worse. What will Ella say? This story had my emotions all over the place. I wanted them to wake up and slap them both so many times. It was so clear they loved each other, but both had their own trauma. After they finally resolve the drama, we do get a great HEA, but this one put me through the ringer 😉.

Twisted Attraction is a book with the tropes of age-gap, best friend's dad and her boss. It's a steamy romance that should have been a one night stand until Chloe finds out who it was with having never expected to see him again. There are twists and turns to the story as they are both obsessed with the other with too many obstacles in their path, or are there?

I liked that we got to know the characters and where they were both coming from. Also, how their upbringings and parent interactions left them each with scars in different ways. Jeremy and Chloe tell their stories in alternating chapters. They take one step forward and many back throughout the book but some of their interactions were too over the top.

There are multiple stories being told but some loose ends still remained at the end. The happily-ever-after of course takes place and was portrayed in a different way than expected but I felt their happiness was glossed over when they finally reconciled and became a couple.

Ms. Robert is a new to me author and I will give some of her other books a try.

This story made me so angry that I gave up at 58% through and I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't DNF it earlier. I'm sorry to the author, but I couldn't get over what an absolute AH the MMC is in this story. I read a lot of dark romance and I honestly have to say even the villains in my dark romance aren't as terrible as the MMC in this book was. My first clue should have been early on, when he called his daughter (the FMC 's best friend) "his greatest mistake", since this is a surprise pregnancy trope, I just can't fathom the best friend being okay with him being there for the new baby and he was a deadbeat to her. But, the icing on the cake was the fact that I found myself 58% through the book and he kept being mean and saying awful things to the FMC to purposely hurt her feelings. Even in my darkest romance novels have I never run across the MMC being such an AH to the FMC at 58% through the book. This book isn't even marketed as dark romance. I was just super disappointed.

I'm sure someone will read this it's totally their cup of tea, I'm not judging. I'm just here to give my thoughts and share why I absolutely could not finish this book.

Though I have other Audrey Robert books, this was my first one I'd read. The blurb attracted me and the little titillating bits she put in her newsletter. I'd found this best friend's father romance very enjoyable to read. The characters were engaging and had chemistry that sizzled off the pages and the storyline drew me in and fascinated me. This story is about Jeremy and Chloe. Chloe despondent that her mom didn't show up to her college graduation decides to celebrate. Chloe takes a dress from her BF's closet and decides to have a one-night stand, losing her virginity. Chloe enters a fancy bar dressed to the nines and finds herself being stared at by charismatic stranger. This leads to what Chloe desired. Jeremy our stranger takes her to his room. Chloe leaves and moves to NYC for her new job that her best friend, Ella, got for her in her father's business. Only to find she's working for her stranger, Jeremy as his assistant. This leads to a situation they both have to navigate. Will Chloe and Jeremy find what they want?

I’m generally not a fan of an age gap this far apart. But I enjoyed every moment of this book. I actually would’ve loved if it was longer, which is my only reason I gave it 4 stars.

I loved Chloe and Jeremy. I thought their relationship was sweet despite their struggles to accept their feelings. I would’ve loved to see (and I can’t believe I’m saying this) a “slower” growth in their relationship. Especially on Jeremy’s part. I also loved how the author handled Chloe perspective of some things going on later in the book, it felt genuine knowing Chloe’s past with her own family.

But overall, I enjoyed this book from page one and it kept me interested the entire time. I recommend anyone looking for a quick, sweet but hard won story to read this book❤️✌🏻.

Chloe has just graduated from college and is disappointed because her mother didn't come. So, she decides to go out for a drink, and this is how she meets Jeremy. They share an amazing night, but she is gone when he wakes up the next morning. Chloe moves to the city to find work and be closer to her best friend. Its not long before she finds out her mystery man is her best friend's father and her new boss. Jeremy tries to be mean to ensure he keeps his distance to her. However, its not long before they are giving in to each other again. Will they find a way to be together?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This novel is an excellent read and it will keep you reading until you finish it. Chloe had a one night stand with her best friend’s dad Jeremy and that was a one night stands that should have remained in the past but Chloe finds herself in a situation that she never wanted to happen when she moves to New York City. Jeremy turns out to be not only her best friend’s dad but also her boss and Chloe literally hates her boss and he appears to enjoy putting her down and making her work harder at her job. It’s like he gets twisted satisfaction out of being ruthless when it comes to her but things really take a twisted turn when Chloe ends up pregnant for her best friend’s dad because there’s a big possibility that she will lose her best friend.

Oh man what a wild ride this book was. The storyline was great. Very little spice, but it was still good. The twists and turns this book will take you in. You'll feel it. There are secrets, heartache, bullying, etc.

The story of Chloe and Jeremy is a good one. Chloe has had a rough life, losing her father at a young age and a never there mother. Jeremy's life isn't much better in this regard. They happen upon each other one night at a bar as a one night stand. Can they let each other go? No feelings? Soon they will find out. Follow them on their journey.

It’s gratifying to see them both overcome their different mindsets to find true happiness.

OMG this was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even image of put it down. Chloe and Jeremy were physical attract to each other and the chemistry was sexual tension. This was twists but darkness of forbidden romance and things was heating up between them and the temptation was hard to fight these feelings anymore. They gave into passion over and over again.

If you're a lover of age gap romance which includes a best friend's dad then I can't recommend Jeremy & Chloe's story highly enough. The author has delivered a 5 star read that will hook you from the start & take the reader on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I didn't want the book to end.

Enjoyed this book, loved the different elements. Chloe decides she going out after graduation for her first one night stand, with no names swapped, who she later finds out was Ella, her best friend’s dad, a dad who had been absent for most of Ella’s life. Ella gets Chloe a job at her dad’s firm, from the story expands. The age gap is quite significant.

Chloe feels disappointed and upset because her mother didn't attend her graduation, even though she was the valedictorian. To celebrate their graduation, Chloe, her best friend Ella, and a group of Ella's friends are out for a fun night when Chloe meets an attractive older man, and they go to his room together. Wouldn't ya know, it's Ella's dad. This story is full of doubt, romance, and steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended.

I'm so happy right now. This book is by far the best of all the books I've read by this author. The writing was good, there were no typos that I saw, and the plot and characters were well-written.

I really enjoyed this story. I hope the author writes a book about Ella. I think I know who Ella had her fling with, but I won't find out for sure unless the author writes or has written her story. I'm hoping she has.

Well done to the author. I'm looking forward to reading another story.

This was a jump into the flames romance. A nice and spicy read that I couldn’t put down once I started it. 😍The m/f leads were easy to follow along, younger Chloe’s heart was in the right place, and hunky older Jeremy, well he knew what he wanted, just took a while for them both to figure it out.
