Three mixed with four. The captive became an ally. Who will break first?

It started when they betrayed me. The ones who I’d come to trust. The ones I was starting to love.

My world flipped upside down and nothing is as it seems. Everything was unravelling before my eyes, tearing us apart whilst pulling us closer together.

I’m caught between two worlds. The one I grew up in and the one I’d started to forge with the boys. Everything came to a grinding halt when long hidden secrets came to light. The truth changed the rules and made us realise nothing in life is ever as it seems.

Sometimes the only way out of a situation is through. Never before had been truer when it came to the five of us and our future together.

Did we have a future? Or was everything too much for us to handle? The pieces were starting to fit together, but there’s always something holding us back. My family. My loyalty. My duty. And whether to throw it away or stand and fight by their sides.

A dark why choose (MMFMM) romance series set in Sarah Bailey's Dark Universe with cliffhangers and a HEA in the final book.

This is a DARK romance and therefore comes with a content warning. Please see authors website for full details.

Another book down and another layer added to Ash’s relationship with the guys. Her and Eric finally establish their relationship and yeah, not mad at it. Eric will surprise you in the best way..

Ash and Eric take it slow and the tension is thick. Eric is trying to navigate through his feelings for Ash the same time he’s working up the courage to tell Xavier the truth. I’ve been waiting for not only Eric and Xavier to come to terms with their feelings but also for the three of them to be with each other. And I was not disappointed.

Ash is still dealing with the fallout from Frank and other secrets that have been revealed. It forces her hand to make a decision, live a life in constant fear or help the boys take her father down..

Diving right into the next one to see how Ash handles everything that’s been thrown at her..and also her pursuit of Rory. Can’t wait to see what happens when she finally gets the beast out of his cage.

Derailed is the third book in the Devil's syndicate serie by Sarah Bailey and pick up right where the second book left us.

Ash thinks the boys betrayed her when they allowed her father to take her back. But thinks aren't what they seems and Quinn and the other three had a plan. She will be mad that they didn't mention their intentions to her and is still torn between her family, where she grew up, even tough she doesn't want nothing with what her papa plans for her, and the new world she starts builiding with the boys.

I have really loved this book and can't wait for the next one. I have received an arc of this book from the author.

Derailed by Sarah Bailey is the 3rd novel in the dark romance series “The Devil’s Syndicate.” Book one Deceived explored the intensity of a forbidden romance in impossible circumstances, and Defied examined where such a romance might go when you add a third lover into this mix. For book three, our main character Ash’s heart is getting pretty full, but there’s still room yet to grow with the four men in her home. What started as her prison really has now become her home, and the novel begins with a turbulent challenge to that very notion. The family she grew up with before she was taken by the Syndicate boys not only wants her back, but might not even be the “family” as she understood during her troubled childhood. Nothing is what is seems, that is, except for the love that’s being brewed with her boys back at the house. That’s the one thing we can always count on as real, and wouldn’t you know it, it’s about to get even more complicated…

Now that Quinn and Xavier have aligned into an understanding of their feelings for Ash, Derailed moves this focus towards Eric. Once the issues of the book two cliffhanger are somewhat tampered, Eric has to start confronting his feelings not only in regard to Ash, but also to Xavier. Eric is a pansexual lover, and while the term Demisexual wouldn’t be accurate, he certainly weighs more personal connection into a partner than the boys we’ve examined thus far. Ash entering his life has been difficult enough, but add that to his reserved undying love for Xavier and sparks are soon to fly in every possible direction. Xavi and Eric wouldn’t have survived their youth without each other, and as unspeakable trauma crosses their path, the emotions they share become stronger, if only more deeply buried. Eric’s baggage is a package deal with Xavier’s and as Ash grows with one, the no less equal passion the boys share for each other must also be considered by her as well.

With new types of emotions come new types of expression, and Derailed isn’t solely about BDSM-fueled fucking. Some of these people have reasons for not jumping into full sexual intercourse, so there’s a great opportunity to explore other kinds of sex and “togetherness.” The author makes each scene distinct and noteworthy so we can approximate those feelings right alongside the characters. Throw in what I believe to be the author’s first ever MM scene (hot as fuck btw) and there’s exploration and new beginnings being cultivated no matter which side of the e-reader in which you might be participating.

Verdict: Derailed by Sarah Bailey is yet another strong continuation of the dark romance reverse harem themes presented by this series. It’s no longer only about Ash and her boys, as we learn more about the inter-romance brewing between some of the boys themselves. By this point everyone in the house understands that multiple people can be in love simultaneously with each other, and now its just about connecting all the dots. If love was the only issue at hand, maybe this would be easier, as the trouble between the two “families” that Ash has known begin to make their moves towards a final, most likely violent resolution. Ash has never been more prepared for what’s to come next, and she’s finally got the right people in her corner for it. It’s not that Ash didn’t ever want to be queen…she just needed to find her proper kingdom.

Special thanks to Sarah Bailey for providing an advance review copy of Derailed to TehBen.com. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

This third book....was absolutely rollercoastery for me. The title makes sense. THE TITLE MAKES SENSE.

It picks off exactly where it ended, so of course, there's immediate palpitations as we try and figure out what the fudge is happening. I went from panic, to relief, to embodying Ash's anger, we're talking from "awwww that's so SWEET" to WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU BOTH THINKING?! (And yeah, I won't say names - because there's no fun in spoilers!).

But seriously, I LOVE these guys but they aren't good for me LOL. Quinn is my FAVOURITE, especially in this book, particularly when he is absolutely faultless in my eyes (in this book).
He is safety, business and no-nonsense....mistakes were made by Ash and (unnamed others) in this book, mistakes I still can't forgive or even speak because it makes me seeth with rage but isn't that what a good story is meant to do? Make you feel? Make you rage? Make you cry and throw your phone at the wall? (No phones were harmed during the reading of this book).

Derailed sucker punched me. It upset me. It made me laugh. It made me swoon. It made me hyped. So many emotions which means Sarah Bailey gets another gold medal for this achievement. Because regardless of my emotions, this story was bloody intense, dramatic, hot, painful and angsty.

And as always what do we get for our devotion and time? A cliffhanger. LOL. A damn good one.

Ready for book 4! For MORE madness and more emotions! (At least I have 3 weeks to recover!)

I guess i was fooled by the last book that this series was getting better but I guess not. The actual character development isn’t bad, the sex scenes aren’t bad but where’s the plot? Where’s the story? Like I’m 900 pages deep by now and what’s the whole ass plan? I get it they kidnapped the FMC to get back at her dad (spoiler- not dad), they wanna take down all the gangs and mafia for being bad guys?? 4 lil guys really think they can do that? All because their parents were shitty and worked with the mafia - not really the mafias fault is it?
Im sorry but it’s so highly unrealistic it’s laughable - I mean if the heir to the empire was stolen you’re not telling me her *father* wouldn’t send everyone after her, like there wouldn’t be repercussions, and then they just expect to take them all down - like how? It’s stoopid.

Also we’re back to the half consented bdsm shit - again?? Like Rory has *proclivities* that he calls dangerous and bad but never sets up a safe word before engaging in them with the FMC - she literally begs him to stop (idc if her pussy gets wet, it’s not a kink they’ve got going on he’s hurting her) and then he offers no aftercare like he’s supposed to?? It’s just shitty. I was really looking forward to the development for Rory and her relationship with him but honestly I’m sick of the misrepresented kinks and it’s tiring to read. Also *little girl* still makes more wanna vom everytime I read it.

I’m so excited for the next one!!

Lies and secrets have swarmed me my whole life. Will it ever end?

This is book 3 of The Devils Syndicate series. I am so glad I started this series and I cannot put it down. This book had all the feels. I was on an emotional roller coaster with them all. This book focused on the relationships and the development between them all. I was so glad to get that.

Ash is still on top of my list. She is still strong as ever. Of course, she has her moments. She gave the guys everything they deserved in this story especially the way the previous one ended. She keeps getting hit with secrets and lies. Yet she takes each one and learns from it. I just love her.

I love how each book depicts one of the guys. I think that’s what truly sticks out with me and what makes this harem so amazing. I love seeing Eric open up and have fun in this one. I love seeing the way Quinn accepts the other guys as Ash moves forward with them. I LOVE Xavier. He keeps me laughing through the book. I cannot wait for the next one, because I cannot wait for Rory to come through!!

Overall, I thought this book was good and I am so excited for the next one. I have so many questions and thoughts. I just need them answered!!

Ash was abducted by Quinn, Xavier, Eric and Rory. Held captive by these four men who started captivating her heart. Her kidnappers become her saviors. She starts relying on what she soon considers to be her men. Bonding with them in a way that makes a girl a little jealous. And then they do something that just might break the fragile trust that was built between them.

Seems even though they keep on promising each other no secrets… they cannot manage to just put all the cards out on the table. And somehow the secrets actually just keep on piling up. That said – I love how her relationships with the guys grow. We finally get some declarations of love and promises of forever. Add in the mystery of the Russian business man (let’s face it we all know what the big secret is).

I have really grown fond of this series and all the characters in it. I actually find myself wondering what is happening in the book / what will happen next when I am busy in my every day life. This is one of those series that will definitely be worth a reread later.

Will Ash finally get through to Rory? Will Eric finally admit his feelings to Xavier? I dunno… read the book and you will find out 😉

The Devils Syndicate 😈
Authour: Sarah Bailey

"Her words were like a fucking taunt. Challenging me to follow her down the rabbit hole into oblivion."

Hate. Lust. Love. Mafia reverse harem sign me up!

I love anything Sarah writes and this is no exception. I couldn't get enough of how this story was written it keeps you hooked from start to finish.

The broken mafia princess does her father's bidding until four men take her away from the only life she knew. How is it her kidnappers showing her the life she's been missing?

The slow-burn romance between these characters is to die for. Each character had a lot to work through to finally accept their feelings for Ash. Ash also had a lot of souls searching to figure out because like she said it's not normal to fall so hard for the men that kidnapped her. The mafia drama, the laughter, the alpha male anger, the lust, the secrets, the lies, the hate and lots of love and you have yourself a pretty interesting romance between five people. Ash, Quinn, Xavier, Eric and Rory took me on quite the adventure of emotions throughout this story. Let's just say this queen found her kings.

Ash is trying to stay away from her father and be with the boys. She doesn't know whether she should care about what happens to her father or not. She knows she can't live without the boys but can she let them kill her father? Ash believes she's the cause of all the fighting and bickering in the house between Xavier, Eric, Rory and Quinn. Can the boys make her believe she the reason they are better or will she decide it's too much for her?

Ash being taken was a shot to my heart. What she did to Nate though was so worth it. Viktor is proving he's different. I love his nickname for her. Yet again I love all the nicknames the boys have given her too. I knew she wasn't going to forgive the boys that easily. What they did for her was precious. That first kiss with Eric was unexpected. Xav figure out his feelings was touching. The results Ash received shocked me. Julian may be a terrible person but what Xav did was brave. Crying is inevitable now. What a crazy cliffhanger. There is a lot of spice in this.

Seriously, how much hotter can this series get?!?!
I am going to guess A LOT since the next book is focused on Rory and I AM SO READY FOR HIM!!
I really enjoyed Derailed. There were definitely a few revelations revealed and we get to see a totally different side to Quinn!! For a guy who was so cold and hard at the beginning of the series, he is practically a sweet little love bug now haha but don't get me wrong, when it comes to punishment, he is still a complete dom.
The one thing I am totally struggling with, and I completely have to agree with Ash when she says that dealing with Rory is becoming tiresome. The guy has his issues with contact, I completely get it. He has gone through so much abuse as a child buuuuuuuut I found myself getting so frustrated with his character. I am dying for some Rory action!!
The more we get to know the guys, the more you fall in love with them. The dynamic of the group has changed so much but in such a good way.
Derailed is HOT! Like seriously! My kindle was on fire!!! Secrets are revealed and there is so much passion and chemistry ooze from the pages!
Cannot wait for the next book.

Ash is mad at her boys for standing there and doing nothing and letting Nate take her away and back to her father after she announced she is in love with Quinn. The boys have explaining and apologizing to do 4 days later when they come for Ash at a safe house because they never meant for her father to take her away from them. They all agree no more secrets between them. Quinn tells Ash how much he loves her too with his version of collaring Ash with an Infinity necklace to wear always as an apology. There is a new beginning with Ash, Eric, an Xav finally with those secrets all out in the open now. Rory and Ash get a lot closer but, he still needs more time. And Ash gets confirmation finally why she has never wanted to take over her fathers empire, and why it never felt part of her when she meets Viktor and finally gets some truths.

All the relationship vibes

5/⭐️ • 3/🌶

I absolutely adore the uniqueness of this story line and then twists and turns that come about. I love that the story line has focused on the group of five and them navigating their way through this relationship and it’s own problems. It’s almost like a foundation is building in order to whether what they will face in the coming books. Now, that’s not being said there’s not a pile of drama and uncovered secrets that keep arising. It’s never ending.

Ash. I love how she’s the strong peace keeper. The one that solidifies the strength of this group. However, I’m so glad she finally chose a side and is going to thrive in her decision.

Xav and Quinn. They’re the unchanging characters. They remain their stature and strength as major characters in this book. I did love watching Xav struggle just a little in this book.

Eric and Rory. I love watching the progress they made in this book. They are slowly working through their own problems to get to their HEA within the group of 5.

And this series just got hotter and more intense! I didn't think it was possible to turn up the heat any more than it was in Deceived and Defied, but the author did it. Wowzers!!!

Ms. Bailey does an excellent job of showing how these five characters navigate their growing relationship. The boys are changing, and Ash is changing and all for the better. I love seeing their growth and love and protectiveness for each other. I did get irritated with a couple of them, but that's natural. They're not perfect as no one is, and I feel it makes a more believable story. I honestly cannot get enough of this series! Bring on Rory's story in Debauched!!!

*Thank you to the publisher for an advance reader copy. This review contains my honest opinion.*

A compulsive series full of love, lust and lies.
by sewsummore

Ash is back with her three men once again, her father thinks they are done with her and that is the way they want to keep him thinking. Despite all the drama in their lives, Ash and her four men are determined she will always be theirs. There are more secrets revealed about her mother that Ash finds disturbing and Eric's love for Xav's is exposed. This series is addictive, Ash desired her four lovers's love but, everything she knows about herself and her family is destroyed by the truth. Again, this book ends on a cliff-hanger as I eagerly await the next book in this compulsive series full of love, lust, and lies.

This is book three in The Devil's Syndicate series. Ash and her boys's story continues. This story is filled with such twists and turns of betrayal, lies and mixed truths that is it so hard to know if one is coming or going. Let alone how to figure out if everything fits together for a relationship of five. As the story continues to unfold the puzzle pieces are fitting together and the holes are getting smaller but will they all still fit together in the completed picture at the end. Another well written, smooth but flying paced portion of the story. I am always so hooked on this author's stories, I absolutely loved reading this series so far and cannot wait to see what happens next. Enjoy!

SO MANY FEELS.

Eric and Xavier feels everywhere. I love them so much. And add Ash into the mix? I’m over here fanning myself and giggling like a school girl. Steam aside, it was great to have Xavier see a different side of Eric.. the side of him that comes out for Ash. I hope we get some more steamy scenes of all three of them in the next book.

Also, Fuck yes for Ash finally deciding to take her “Papa” down. I knew it would happen eventually, but I’m all for the FMC getting her revenge and letting loose.

Speaking of letting loose. I NEED MORE OF RORY. The buildup is so good, but also killing me slowly. I’ll probably spontaneously combust when he finally lets his beast out to play. I am so ready.

This is a dark, dangerous and enthralling reverse harem style story. It is a good addition to the "Devil's Syndicate" series. This is the third installment and they need to be read in order. Four men, Rory, Quinn, Xavier and Eric, take Ash from her home. This is where the journey begins and things definitely get more interesting in this installment. It's does end with a cliffhanger but it's a very addictive read that I am really enjoying. Things are not as they seem and get intense in the story. Torn between two families/worlds this great twists but also is emotional with secrets revealed, turmoil, steamy, passion and stronger bonds. I cannot wait to read "Debauched"!

Still peeling that onion one secret at at time

Derailed is the third book in The Devil's Syndicate series and continues the story of Ash and her four kidnappers/men - Quinn, Xavier, Eric and Rory. This book picks up where from the cliffhanger ending in Defied and ends with it's own cliffhanger.
This book is fast-paced with more secrets revealed that both bond them together and cause issues. Ash is on quite the journey with her men as they become stronger together. She also starts to learn some truths about her father and other family which brings more intrigue into her life. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

"Derailed" is another spectacular read in "The Devil's Syndicate" series. It started exactly where "Defied" left off so it's important to read these books in order to get the full impact. The further along I get into the story, the more Sarah Bailey pulls me in with beautifully flawed characters and a world filled with players that seem to be playing multiple roles. The action, adventure, secrets, lies, and danger swirl through the story making me sit on the edge of my seat while I watched in wonder at the way each of these adjectives brought Ash and her men closer together, even during conflicts. I love this series and can't wait to read "Debauched".

A new author to me. I thought this book was well written. The story is the third book in the Devil’s syndicate series and pick up right where the second book left us. I didn’t realize this was a reverse harem and they aren’t my pick or genre. Although that’s the case, I did enjoy this book enough to buy books 1 and,2,of the series as their about 2nd chance and enemies to lovers. In this story, Ash thinks the boys betrayed her when they allowed her father to take her back. She doesn’t know everything yet. She is angry they didn’t mention their intentions to her.

This one was a little slower, but still good

The books continue to focus on the relationships between Ash, the main characters and the others, and slowly builds the tension as we learn a little more about her history and the boys’ stories. It unfolds but by bit, and we see more of Xavier and Eric’s past history. This book is more focused on Xavier and Eric and Ash, and less focused on Quinn and Rory. I enjoyed it, but I am more interested in Rory’s story and hope the next book explores his past and that we also see a glimpse of his future. This one is definitely spicy, but does not add much new to the mix as to spice. Still, I definitely recommend it, and the series.

Wow, this story is so intense, and beautiful, and so, so hot! Derailed is the 3rd book of the the devil syndicate, andike the first two, it's jammed pack with emotions, hot scenes, twists, secrets and danger. Like in the other books every character's pov is told which is fantastic. Quinn, Rory, Eric and Xavier are very loyal to each other, and also very different from one another. The one thing they have in common is their need to be with Ash, to protect and love her. It is a wild ride, but oh so good!

This is book three of the Devil’s Syndicate series and it was amazing! It’s intense, hot, and a thrill ride from start to finish! Ash, Quinn, Rory, Xavier, and Eric are still growing as a family and forging a stronger relationship. They are growing more as individuals as well. I love how protective the guys are of Ash and the love they have for her. This is a beautiful story full of secrets, twists, danger, and hot passionate scenes. It’s a definite must read and I can’t wait for the next book!

Read this, now!

Ladies and gentlemen all I have to say is Sarah Bailey did it again. Derailed is a continuation of the amazing story she has written about Ash and her boys. I have been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for this one and she did not disappoint. This book focuses on Ash’s relationship with Eric as well as what has been long over due between Eric and Xav. She gives you everything you had hoped for and more.

I honestly have to say I haven’t been this obsessed with a series in quite sometime. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Eric and Xav are building their relationship. Rory is finally opening up more and Quinn will do anything to prove the love he has for Ash. This book is so good and doesnt lose the page turning feeling you get to not want to stop reading.. Can not wait to find out what happens next in this series.
