Ohhh... This series is really turning out to be one heart melting ride. There's just something about a man caring for the daughter of the woman he wants, that's so endearing and sweet to witness.
We have Marcus who's new to town and the current fodder for the gossip mills. Marcus has no memory of who he is and about his past.
Isabelle, is a single mother and hard working woman. She's doing her best to provide for her daughter but her waitress job can't exactly get her more.
When a great offer lands in her lap from the town's latest focus, Marcus, she's reluctant but grateful too for the new job working as his assistant.
There's chemistry right from that first scene where Marcus and Isabelle meet in the restaurant and especially because of Isabelle's reluctance, I couldn't wait to see them together especially when unpleasant bits of information from Marcus' past come forward which might just ruin any chances of them being together.
I freaking loved how Marcus was with little Lily. The way he loves Isabelle's daughter had my heart and especially the way he goes out of his way to be there for them. Ahh... Their times together where lily innocently converses with him were one of fav moments.
There's angst also as Isabelle's own past drives her fears of diving into a new relationship and there's also the drama of a certain blast from Marcus' past that appears. But it certainly made me smile when these two finally find their way to each other. Loved this one. ❤️

I'm a sucker for an amnesia romance—then toss in a struggling single mom and it's a go to trope. But even that couldn't save this sinking ship. Life's too short to spend it wandering aimlessly through the pages of a book that's lost its own way. As much as I hate to be a quitter, I had to tap out at 36%. Sorry, "Lost Memory, Found a Sunshine", you've been forgotten.
From the onset, the narrative suffers from an overreliance on telling rather than showing, leaving little room for the reader to organically connect with the characters or their motivations. The lack of character development only serves to compound this issue, as individuals within the story feel more like cardboard cutouts than fully realized personalities.
Plus, there were several WTF moments that I couldn't overlook. Seriously, who eats dinner at 8:00pm on a school night with a 10-year-old disabled child?
Isabelle is a single mother, she works as a waiter on a restaurant. One evening in the door of the restaurant came a man it was raining and his clothes were drenched,so she offered him to take a seat and offered him a glass of water. When some teenagers were making some noise because they were drunk and they were behaving bad. He came for her rescue, but she didn’t take it good. She told him that she knew how to defend herself. But he didn’t give up he continued to go after her, until he offered her a Job. This book is amazing a very good story. I enjoyed reading it I recomend to those who love to read romance ❤️❤️❤️
A very enjoyable read which was difficult to put down, the storyline was original and not your usual predictable romance storyline. Throughout the book you are wishing for the characters to open up to each other and share their true feelings with each other. Both the main characters are loveable and ones you would be happy to have in your life in the real life.
I feel the ending could have been better as it ended too soon and it would have been nice to see how the characters adapted to their new life in New York.
A wonderfully written and heartfelt romance book that will pull at your heart strings at times. Isabelle lost her husband and is raising her daughter Lily on her own why working as a waitress. Marcus is a billionaire that runs into Isabelle while she is working one rainy day. The two of them start off slow but things begin to take off like a race. I enjoyed this book by Amelia and know you will as well.

Love Isabelle and Marcus. He lost his memories and she is a single mom. She wants to make sure her daughter is happy no matter, even if that means putting her own feelings aside. Someone from Marcus’s past shows up and that’s when things get rocky. This book had me at the edge of my seat and felt every emotion with the main characters. Also so many plot twists I did not see coming.
Love the charming way in which the author weaves the tale of Isabelle and Marcus. How he not only falls in love with her but Lily. There are points where you think will this last but ultimately the HEA is due.
I liked how little by little he got memories back, but he stayed the way he was after losing his memory. I liked that he didn’t trust Cassie, & didn’t give her a chance
Loved this book. The character development was great. The author made me feel the pain both characters were experiencing and I felt the love and happiness that was felt as well.
