I was stolen from Earth and gifted to an alien warrior. Will I find a new home with Aizor?
Vanessa: One minute, I’m working as a cook, the next, I’ve been abducted by robocops and sent to a distant planet where I’m attacked by a ferocious beast. Then a seven-foot-tall, blue-skinned alien rescues me with crystal spears slashing. He cuddles me in his arms, and I feel safe for the first time since fleeing my stalker ex.
Until he tosses me over his shoulder and takes me back to his clan where he announces I’m his new bride.
I’m determined to return home, but there’s something about Aizor I can’t resist. Am I falling for this musclebound alien with a killer smile?
Aizor: The crystal gods gifted me with Vanessa, and she’s the prettiest being I’ve ever seen.
She’s tiny.
Surprisingly snarly.
And she insists on returning to her home planet.
I have seven days to convince her to stay. I’ll worship her. Massage her feet. And at night, I’ll show her the gifts bestowed upon a Zuldrux warrior.
Then she’ll accept she’s my fated bride.
Craved by the Alien Beast is Book 1 of the Brides of the Zuldrux Warriors Series. Expect humor, size difference, devoted alien warriors who’ll die to protect their fated mate, steamy romance, and a new alien world you’ll want to live in.
Consent and HEA guaranteed.
Look for the rest of the Zuldrux Series!
Rescued by the Alien Exile (a prequel novella) Craved by the Alien Beast Treasured by the Alien Rogue Claimed by the Alien Barbarian Cherished by the Alien Outlaw Adored by the Alien Warlord
AVA ROSS fell for men with unusual features when she first watched Star Wars, where alien creatures have gone mainstream. She lives in New England with her husband (who is sadly not an alien, though he is still cute in his own way), her kids, and assorted pets, including a yorkie pup and three cats.
𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖/𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒: Ava is really good at creating these sort of wild fantastical alien worlds filled with really imaginative details. This is definitely no different but what I'm loving the most about it is how this alien race is also very primitive in so many ways. It really adds to the story and makes for a fun cozy read!
I enjoyed this one alot. It wasn't too fast paced or too slow paced. The pacing was really nice and yet it felt like a fairly quick read which is exactly what I was looking for. It has full world building and has set up alot of side details for future stories as well as a main storyline that will feature throughout the whole series. And it still kept alot of the plot focused on the romance, so I really liked it!
I'm so curious about this mystery guy who steals one of Aizor's weapons. And I'm wondering about if Ava is planning a redemption romance for Muzzire, or if that's not meant as anything more, which is also totally fine but I did get some vibes from that! So I guess only time will tell. And I'm SUPER super interested in learning more about these other beings who are viewed as "gods". I can't wait to learn more about them and understand them more. Overall there's just so many side stories and characters that I can't wait for more and I hope the stories continue in the same tone and style as this one did.
I really enjoyed Aizor and Vanessa. They were both pretty easy going characters overall and had some really cute funny moments. I'm a sucker for huge alien MMCs as well, paired with curvy heroines that seem small in comparison. So that was a little cherry on the top for me with this.
This was a fun one. A little fluffy, a teensy bit of drama and danger, sweet, silly, and a little spicy. As well as a great setup for a series with very unique world building. It was a great mix for an easy alien romance read.
This was a ln alien romance where it’s sort of futuristic. I’m hoping in this series we find out what is going on with the robo cops. My favorite scene was the oven gift. Very sweet and cute.
The fmc one page: “omg I need to get back to earth.” The fmc the next page: “don’t you dare touch my mate!” The fmc the NEXT page: *riding his fingers* The fmc the NEXT NEXT page: “omg I need to get back to earth”
It's a 3 for me with a caveat. First of all this book was very much an Ice Planet cookie-cutter storyline. Nothing really unique or original there. I personally found the MFC kind of annoying. She was in a paradise where she didn't need to pick up after herself. Her clothes magically appear when she needs them and disappear when she drops them on the floor. She laments missing tacos and POOF! They magically show up fully cooked! Yet she's just not sure she wants to stay. *eye roll* I also find it a little selfish when there is foreplay for the female multiple times and there is no thought of reciprocation for the male. He finds so much satisfaction in giving her pleasure that she never thinks to reciprocate and he never asks. Girl told the tacos she loved them before the MMC. *eye roll* Also, it's mentioned that she's a curvy girl so of course she's obsessed with food and baking. Cliche! Even the big third-act drama was watered down and anticlimactic. That's a lot like I said I wasn't a fan BUTTTTT I didn't DNF because the world and gods were intriguing and unique. I'd like to see how the other gods of the world are and operate. And I'm curious who exactly these gods are and how they are connected to the people. I may give this series another chance just to see how things unfold. Hopefully, the next couple will be a little more interesting.

💙 “Tell me what you want, my pretty mate, and it’s yours.” ~~~ Vanessa is so awesome! She’s kind, compassionate, smart and caring. Even more, she’s hardworking and is always ready to face any hardships thrown her way. Vanessa is also stubborn and determined and I adored her for never hesitating to express her opinion. And she’s so fierce and fun! Vanessa is a really wonderful and loving woman and I loved her so, so much!
And Aizor is one absolutely incredible male! He’s fiercely protective, caring, considerate, sweet and so, so patient. Even more, he’s so charming and absolutely irresistible! As the leader of the Indigan Clan, he has a lot on his plate, and he’s willing to do everything in his power to make sure his people survive and thrive. Aizor is a seven-foot-tall, blue-skinned cinnamon roll of an alien and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Vanessa and Aizor! Vanessa is taken from Earth only to land in the arms of a huge blue alien, who announces she’s his fated bride - gifted to him by their crystal gods. But Vanessa is not a woman who would give in easily and Aizor has his work cut out for him. I adored those two together! Their banters and teasings were an absolute delight to read, made even more delightful with a teeny-tiny language barrier. Even more, I adored Aizor for giving Vanessa the time to get to know him, for respecting her boundaries and for making sure that everything that happened between them was something she was willing to do. And the more time Vanessa spent with Aizor the more she saw what an incredible male he truly is and how wonderful his people and his world were. And when they couldn’t resist the undeniable attraction, the passionate moments they shared were so hot! Oh, there Zuldrux warriors come with quite the surprises! Vanessa and Aizor were absolutely perfect for each other and I couldn’t get enough of either of them!
In addition, the storyline was fantastic! I adored this new world, filled with unique nature, creatures and ancient alien gods. And, with everything happening, I was glued to the pages till the very end.
Overall, the story is a remarkable start of the series! It’s filled with adventure, action, danger, humor, twists, betrayals, drama, surprises, smoking-hot romance and spectacular characters.
I loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next!
I enjoyed this alien–human, size difference, reverse grump-sunshine, kidnapped by aliens romance. It had wonderful mix of sweet, spicy, humor, and real life issues. The world building was detailed enough to make it believable but vague enough to allow details to be fleshed out in later books. Aizor is an alien on the planet Zuldrux. He prays for a mate because a disease decimated his people and they will die out without additional mates. He is a wonderful alien cinnamon roll. Vanessa is a human woman who is studying to be a chef and barely making ends meet while she hides from her abusive ex. She is taken by one of earth’s robocops and injected with a drug. When she wakes up, she is in a crystal chamber and being hurtled through space landing on Zuldrux. Aizor believes the crystal gods sent Vanessa as his true mate. To get to their HEA Aizor just has a convince Vanessa to stay with him rather than return to earth. Despite how they meet, this is not a dubcon or noncon situation. Aizor and Vanessa’s relationship develops organically without forced intimacy as they spend time together. The book was well written and included characters with depth, interesting world building and engaging storyline. I’ll be reading more in the series to learn about the other stolen human mates.
“…They promised to gift us with a future. And when that future is here, our clan will flourish once more.”
Aizor prayed for a mate, for himself, and for the future of his people, what he got is not just a woman to love, but a woman who has within her the ability to help him nurture and care for his people in ways he never thought of.
Vanessa didn’t love her life, but she didn’t hate it either… she enjoyed her work, and while she may have been living paycheck to paycheck she had reason to smile and be happy… then her ex found a way to ruin what joy she had found.
This done in one kindle unlimited book has some great themes about the questionable practice of making decisions for others, assuming you know the complete story based on rumors, approaching others with kindness and consideration even when you are upset, and the joy that can come from sharing with others.
Add a wicked sense of humor with laugh out loud moments and Craved by the Alien Beast was a joy to read — here’s hoping if the next story in the series isn’t already out it comes out ASAP. The moment I finished this book I wanted to turn the page and start the next one.
Craved by the Alien Beast is an entertaining start to the Brides of the Zuldrux Warriors series, blending humor, action, and sizzling romance. Vanessa’s journey from Earth to a new alien world is packed with excitement, danger, and a healthy dose of cultural clash as she navigates her unexpected role as Aizor’s “gifted” bride. Aizor, the devoted yet adorably clueless Zuldrux warrior, brings plenty of charm and heart to the story.
The world-building is engaging, (however at times lacking) and the playful dynamic between the snarky, independent Vanessa and the determined, protective Aizor creates many lighthearted and steamy moments. Fans of size-difference romance and fated-mate tropes will find much to enjoy here.
However, Aizor’s instant love for Vanessa felt rushed, leaving little room for their connection to develop naturally. While his devotion is sweet, the lack of buildup makes their romance feel a bit one-sided in the early stages.
Overall, this book is a fun, escapist read perfect for fans of alien romance who enjoy humor, HEAs, and larger-than-life heroes.
Vanessa and Aizor are our first couple in the new series by Ava Ross, Brides Of The Zuldrux Warriors. This first book is so incredibly good! Aizor is such a sweet, well balanced male. He is what we all hope to find in a mate. Vanessa is so much fun and she had no problem letting you know when she is not happy. She is smart, loving and kind. She kept giving me the giggles! I want to go to that planet so bad. It sounds like heaven to me. I'm hoping this series goes for a long, long time. Ava has written (again) characters who are warm and so real. The world she describes is so beautiful I really wish it were a real place. The story is what she does best..which is really saying something... she hooked me from the first word. I can't wait for Xax and Amanda!
Did I finish it? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Meh. Would I recommend it or re-read it? No.
It’s missing the narrative threads that tie the spice and drama together.
He flip flops between being able to determine her mood even when they don’t speak the same language then suddenly he is oblivious to her facial expressions and body language when it serves the plot.
She’s mad about the other abducted women…then suddenly they’re going at it in the cave? She’s upset about the crystal food…then suddenly she’s checking out his loincloth?
It’s so abrupt between sexy or intense moments almost like those were written separately and then loosely (LOOSELY) strung together.
I liked the book and the characters Vanessa and Aizor. It was fun to watch him try and understand Vanessa’s words and their meanings. He was a sweet man and Vanessa finally admitted to herself that she is worthy of all the things he does for her.
Ava Ross is so good at describing the world her characters live in. I can't wait to read about the other tribes in this world. I am curious as to who the mystery man is especially since he's larger than Aizor and he didn't recognize him or what tribe he belongs to.
I enjoyed the book so much that I glanced down and realized I had read 90% of the book and it was almost over. I was a little sad that their story was ending. I will continue with Book #2 to see about the other ladies.
Can Vanessa find her place on a new world after being abducted, almost eaten by a monster and not being able to communicate? All she wants is to go home, no matter how sexy and handsome her rescuer is. Aizor and others of his tribe have begged the gods for help as the tribe is dying off with so few females being born. Then he gets a sign, searches and finds his mate. Thank goodness he has lots of patience and knows how to please his mate. With great plot twists, danger, cookies and stories our couple may find their way. The characters are great, the locations richly described; I felt part of this world and look forward to the next one.
Opposites always work the best together. This couple is one of those. Vanessa is one of the humans that doesn’t appreciate being abducted by aliens. She does come around to it though and that makes her realize that she is happier where she is now than back home. Back home she was hiding from her ex and working to barely pay her bills. Aizor is a leader of his people. He prays for a mate and his Gods answer in kind when Vanessa arrives in a crystal chamber. Being a leader helps with this situation he finds himself in. He has the patience to let Vanessa adjust to her life now as they travel together.
Such a cute tale. I’d like to read more about how the “rob cops” were sent out and how the women were selected. In these books, women were abducted by earths robo cops which are robots that have been developed and used in place of human police forces. Each woman is a fated mate to an alien and each book tells of the story and how they meet and get used to living an alternate lifestyle on an alien planet with a male that if given a chance will make them happier than they’d ever been before. Read these in order to get the full details. I look forward to reading the next in the series.
Craved by the Alien Beast by Ava Ross is a very steamy SciFi romance with a HEA. This story is full of suspense and danger, but so much love and kindness as well. Both Vanessa and Aizor are likeable characters. It was an interesting twist on alien abduction stories; Aizor’s people need females to help their race continue (not uncommon) and so their gods abduct women from Earth, seemingly without guilt. As always, Ava’s world building is so vivid and creative, I cannot wait to see where this new series will go!
Craved by the Alien Beast by Ava Ross is a wonderful alien abduction barbarian romp. Vanessa wants to become a chef, but one day robots-cops take her from her friend’s restaurant and put her on board a space ship to Mars, but she never arrives there! Instead she winds up elsewhere where crystal gods mysteriously provide all that the tucked barbarian people need. All Aizor, their leaders, needs, though, is Vanessa. Can he convince her to stay or will the gods return her to Earth? Love the world building and sexy cinnamon roll hero!
Craved by the Alien Beast is the first book in the Brides of the Zuldrux Warriors series. Ava Ross has created a very imaginative world. Vanessa is abducted by robocops and sent to this strange land to be a bride to Aizor who is a clan leader. His clan honors the crystal gods, the very aliens who arranged to have Vanessa and other Earth women brought to this world to be true mates. I truly enjoyed reading this story and look forward to the next book in the series.
Aizor and Vanessa This is the first book in a new series and ai really enjoyed the new setting. Here there are gods that can comunicarei with the locals and even with our FMC. It's unique and I thougth it was very good. I also likes the forest God and the difrences between her and the cristal gods. Vanessa didn't want to BE abducted but with time She realize how much hapoier She was on her new world. Aizor is an amazing leader and he was perfect for Vanessa. I'm curious about the simbiotic way the gods live with their subjects. Can't wait to know more.
Ava Ross has created another wonderful series, Brides of the Zuldrux Warriors. This is the first book in the series…it’s creative with world building not to be missed. I loved the premise of the gods who guide these warriors to mates. The character's are well developed and refreshing in their uniqueness. My kindle is still smoking from some of the steamy encounters. I loved it and you will too!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ .
Craved By The Alien Beast is the first book in the Brides of Zuldrux Series. I thoroughly enjoyed this new sci-fi alien romance by Ava Ross. It's quite different from her other books. The fantastic descriptive writing pulls the reader into this new interesting unique world with a hunky cinnamon roll blue alien willing to do anything to make his human mate happy. I loved the banter between Vanessa and Aizor especially when he's learning human phrases. I'm excited to read this new series!
I love space and aliens, and this book hit the spot. It was full of romance, banter, spice, and excitement. The world building was on par, and the characters were an absolute delight. Vanessa and Aizor were so completely different, but that's where all the fun begins. Their journey together was not an easy one, but that's why I loved Aizor. He used the time wisely and never rushed Vanessa. *swoon* Now Vanessa, she was brave and independent, but most of all accepting. The storyline was paced nicely with a few hidden gems. It was a page-turner from start to end. And, one I recommend you read.
I have read many books. This alien world and story of how some earth wine. Reached it is one of a kind. Took a bit to get used to how the dialogue and story was written. I did enjoy most of it. Not a fan of the way the human told her side. Felt like author started out one way then went back and forth until it settled on one smoother story line. Hope the others are like the last third of this book
I enjoyed this, start of a new series. It's well written with adventure and great world building, it’s filled with action, drama, danger, humour, twists, betrayals and wonderful characters. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a Free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Vanessa is kidnapped from earth and finds that she is the fated mate of a complete cinnamon roll alien. Their story is very cute, but not nearly as spicy as I expected. The plot was fun and the writing was good. I loved Vanessa and her alien’s characters and even their world. The romance just was a little flat for me.
Different spin on abduction stories. These women are not randomly snatched off the streets. The Gods (Really ancient aliens who crashed on the planet of a developing species.) picked specific types of women to bring to the planet, then picked specific males to pair as their mates.
Vanessa has been kidnapped from Earth to be a mate for a seven foot blue alien warrior called Aizor. The Crystal gods say that if Vanessa doesn't mate with Aizor within seven days they will send her home. Not as easy as it sounds. Aizor is one sexy alien.
