Stop trying to plug subscriptions and your other stories
The constant interruptions mid story to plug subscription were off putting so unlikely I'll read another book by this author. I've never had the story be interrupted to plug other books. Very hard to stay in the story when you keep getting pulled out!

Vittoria was set for an arranged marriage that fell through. Now her father is at it again with an another arrangement. When Vittoria goes to meet her new fiancé she is first introduced to her new father in law. What she doesn’t expect is for there to be a spark and pull between them. Is she the only one feeling this way or does he feel it too? Will Vittoria marry Salvatore or will her father in law Emanuele be who she walks down the aisle too?
I started this book at 9:00 last night and finished it in one sitting!! I love mafia romance books and this one was a good one. I enjoyed the story and the spice.
Emanuele was easy like and root for and Vittoria was a very strong female character which I like!! Faye did a great job with character development in this book.
Ok so my only complaint and I am completely aware that’s others enjoy this and this is just something I do not like. She calls him Daddy in the book and it is one that will usually have me DNF. I pushed through and did enjoy the book but a Daddy nickname is just not for me.

His Cruel Victory was fairly predictable and grossly comical in some places while getting slips of sexy time between the uncomfortable scenes.
Don't mind the daddy play it is a DDLG love story in a little way.

I purchased this book, but did not finish it. I shelved it because there were just too many red flags and inconsistencies' that should have been mentioned or at least addressed in the storyline and was not. I dislike "Daddy" age-gap stories. The idea of calling any boyfriend or husband daddy is nauseating to me personally whether you are in the throws of sex or talking.
I really liked book one of this series but couldn't get Viktoria's character out of my head from that story to this story where daddy dearest sells her to another arranged marriage.... again! Her father is a first class douche and yet she still craves his acceptance. She was such a antagonistic in book one, I couldn't buy her "poor me, ain't is awful" theme in book 2. The author did a decent job of trying to explain why she was like she was, but even addressing her lack of self-respect and always craving people's acceptance, still didn't justify some of her actions in book one. She was still somewhat of a brat that hid her insecurities behind a mask of disdain and apathy while she fought her real feelings behind closed doors.
Emanuele's family was a complete train wreck in his immature son (28 going on 2) who had in some aspects managed to BS his father for sometime in more ways than one. He really had a sadistic side of him that dear ole dad was blind too. Daddy didn't know that his son had been bedding a Russian girl right in his own home for months. Emanuele's over the top libido (how old was he?) when it came to Viktoria and his dirty talk wasn't sexy in the least but more of a Tarzan character, beating his chest. For the leader of a organized crime syndicate, he seemed like he was over his head.
Best character in the book was his quirky daughter. She was eccentric due to her limited lifestyle, but seemed smarter than all of them.
This book wasn't for me, but some people will enjoy it.

I loved Vittoria and Emanuele’s story, full of twists and turns and the extended epilogue is a perfect finish.
Vittoria was taken by her father for another arranged marriage this time with Emanuele’s son Salvatore, but it was hate at first sight for both of them. She initially thought she was marrying Emanuele, although a lot older he was pleasant on the eye, and there was an instant spark there.
Vittoria is a strong and bratty woman who knows what she wants, she is just like Emanuele likes them to tame them.
Emanuele is the dark broody type who demands respect, as is his second in command Fabio, they work well together to keep the family safe.
I loved Emanuele’s daughter, Eva, she brought lightness and cheerfulness to the story, I hope the next book is Eva and Fabio's.

It was good age gap mafia novel. Vittoria was engaged to Salvatore, but when she met his father, she thought it was her fiancé. The fiancé father name was Emanuele. Salvatore was cruel to Vittoria, his father saw her bruised and went to his room to talk with him and find him with his lover and that lover told everybody that she is pregnant. Afterwards, Emanuele came up with solution. He is going to marry Vittoria, so Salvatore married his pregnant girlfriend. Vittoria made a friend with Emanuele’s daughter Eva. Main characters had their up and downs, and got the happy ending it was very good book. Thank you Faye.

Vittoria's father has arranged for her to marry Salvatore Teso to secure a mafia alliance but when Vittoria meets her fiance's father, Emanuele, she wished he was Salvatore. When Vittoria finally meets Salvatore and tries to talk to him, he is cruel and violent toward her. When Emanuele discovers Vittoria bruised and injured and that Salvatore has a pregnant lover, he decides to marry Vittoria himself. Vittoria and Emanuele's journey is filled with danger, suspense, betrayal and steamy hot sex with Daddy vibes that kept me turning the pages. I loved Emanuele's daughter, Eva, and her caring friendship with Vittoria and hope there will be more to her story. Enjoyable read!

This is a well written book with surprises and steamy love scenes,

Their story starts off with some tension, chemistry and issues with trust. The love/hate relationship that develops is shrouded by danger, betrayal and punishment but surviving it all will be their greatest reward. I enjoyed this story and found it intriguing.

I love the tropes. Forced marriage, age gap, strong female (although she has been through a lot), a man that cares for his family and their safety above all else. It really was a great story, although he calls her a brat and at first says he wants that gone, which annoyed me. Though you can tell as the story goes on he loves the way she is and it’s a game with both of them.

Mafia stories like this one are great. Faye has a way with words that flow and keep you engrossed in her story. She has added plot twists, danger, anger, strength, guiding, and fan your face steam. Her characters are so believable and I enjoyed reading of an older, mature, controlled and vibrant man. Whew. This one is so good.

interesting story I think the two are a great fit. The chemistry between them is very good. Only Emmanuel can handle Vittoria. And their love scenes are hot.
