Whisked Away by my Billionaire (fake) Boyfriend by Bella Greene is a standalone sweet romance in the Sweet Spring Kisses Series.

When Caleb has to take his grandad to Rustic Ridge after he receives a letter from Piper - his tenant.

Piper’s mother and sisters insist that she needs a date to her sister’s wedding, and lucky for her Caleb has just shown up in town, and he’s the perfect fake boyfriend.

Caleb and Piper’s story is sweet and combines fake dating, an annoying family, a baker and a billionaire.

This can be read as a standalone, as each book is by a different author. I’ll be continuing with this series via KU.

This was a sweet story, predictable in all the best ways. The main character and her love interest were fun together right from the start of their fake dating relationship, and I loved the interaction with the grandpa. I don’t personally think he needed to be a billionaire for the story to work well. (Honestly, what is with the obsession with billionaires?? There are so many romance novels with billionaire love interests! And I don’t get the attraction. There’s no such thing as an ethical billionaire, and I have to ignore that fact about the LI in order to really enjoy the book. Luckily, in this case the story makes sense without giving him an obscene amount of money.).

Piper Griffin is the proud owner of a thriving small town bakery. That alone would make any family proud, but not hers. They don't understand her choice to be a career woman when she could find a good man and become a stay at home wife and mother. Their matchmaking and meddling in her love life finally pushes her to the limit. As if by fate and right on cue, serendipitous really, a gorgeous stranger walks right into her store. In a split second decision, she blurts out that he is her boyfriend so they can stop trying to set her up with everyone in town. Luckily, Caleb Mercer is game! Little does she know, he is the billionaire grandson of one of her sweet regular customers. All she needs is a fake date to her sister's wedding but who knows where this one could lead!

I thoroughly enjoyed this adorable little romantic comedy. I loved watching the fake relationship develop quickly into something more. The characters are so easy to fall in love with which draws you in fast. There's playful banter, swoon worthy inner dialogue, words of wisdom from granddad Gene (who stole the show), adorable antics from a dog named Gizmo as well as the polar opposites in disposition-Piper's mom and sisters to help round out all the sweetness overload. Definitely throwing out a little Cinderella's step mom and step sisters vibe with those three! But it all comes together beautifully in the end into a charming little tale with a Hallmark movie feel to it. No spice or sizzle to this one other than a few sweet kisses. Just an all around cute, clean, heartwarming read!

I was gifted an advanced copy by the author but the words and feelings are all mine.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is book 3 in the Sweet Spring Kisses Series, which is a multi-author collab series, but can be read as a complete standalone. The book's blurb gives you an idea of what to expect. Whisked Away By My Billionaire Fake Boyfriend is told through Piper and Caleb's pov and is a sweet fake dating romance.

Unlike her mother and sisters, Piper is content with being a career woman and running her bakery business. She doesn't view being a homemaker as something negatively but she wants more for herself and to find romance on her own. When they push her past her point of patience, she tells them she's dating Caleb - a stranger who happened to walk into her bakery. As a successful CEO, Caleb has dedicated his years to his research and being the best he can be at his job. His work doesn't leave him much room for personal relationships, aside from the one he shares with his grandfather. So he doesn't hesitate to follow his grandfather on a road trip to a small town and gets roped into acting as Piper's boyfriend. But, the more time they spend together, the easier it is for both Piper and Caleb to wonder if a true romance could be explored between them.

Though things developed quickly, the pacing wasn't rushed and Piper and Caleb truly got to know each other. A big part of the reason why they were able to connect as fast as they did is because of Caleb's grandfather who encouraged a match between them but also genuinely befriended Piper and her dog. Piper's caring nature made it easy for Caleb to trust her and, in turn, she felt supported by him. He was able to understand her in a way that her family didn't. Their romance was a clean one consisting of only sweet kisses and no foul language was used. While Piper's family could be overwhelming, the conflict wasn't and the story stayed lighthearted. Overall, I enjoyed it and think it's a good read if you're in the mood for a small town romance with no stress.

In classic Bella Greene style, this novel delivers another enchanting, clean romance brimming with heartwarming moments and devoid of unnecessary drama. Caleb and Piper emerge as wonderfully crafted characters, each imbued with relatable traits that draw readers into their world. Grandpa Gene's sage advice adds a touch of genuine warmth and love to the narrative, endearing him to readers.

I found myself thoroughly engrossed in this delightful romantic comedy. The rapid evolution of the fake relationship between Caleb and Piper into something deeper was a joy to witness. The characters possess an irresistible charm that quickly captivates the reader. From playful banter to heartfelt inner musings, and even the endearing antics of Gizmo the dog, every element of the story adds to its irresistible appeal. Piper's lively family, particularly her contrasting mother and sisters, contribute to the novel's overall sweetness.

While the romance lacks spice and sizzle, save for a few tender kisses, it exudes a heartfelt warmth that envelops the reader in its embrace. Once again, Bella Greene showcases her talent for crafting stories that transport readers into the heart of the narrative. With its lovable characters and heartwarming moments, this novel is a delightful addition to Greene's repertoire. If you're seeking a charming, clean, and uplifting read, look no further than this delightful offering.

I really enjoyed reading the story 'Whisked Away By My Fake Boyfriend' by Bella Greene. It was a cute way for the two people to begin their courtship. A baker who rents the building writes the landlord about the unfair rent the manager is trying to charge her and the older man gets his grandson to drive him to the small town to investigate the problem. Piper's mother and sisters are giving Piper a hard time about being a career woman and not having a boyfriend and they are trying to set her up with a date for her sister's wedding. That is when the building owner and his grandson walk into the bakery. Piper looks up and walks over to the grandson Caleb and tells her family that they can't find her a date because Caleb is already her boyfriend. He gallantly plays along with the farce when he sees that she is in need of help. His grandfather is delighted with the whole pretense as he was just telling Caleb that he needed to find himself someone and not just dedicate himself to work. While they are in town for the three weeks leading up to the wedding, Caleb and Piper are having a wonderful time getting to know each other and find that the boyfriend concept is not hard for either of them to adapt to.

“Whisked Away by My Billionaire Fake Boyfriend: A Small-Town Clean Romance,” by Bella Greene.
As a member of her ARC Team, prior to publication, I received a free copy on Booksprouts of “Whisked Away by My Billionaire Fake Boyfriend: A Small-Town Clean Romance,” by Bella Greene. I am writing this completely honest and voluntary review. I love books by Bella Greene and this is no exception. The characters make you feel like you are right there with them and experiencing everything too!
In this book, the owner of a bakery Piper writes a letter to the manager to complain about rising costs. The landlord usually has a manager handle these issues. But one day, Gene the true manager decided to visit Piper as well as other tenants who have complained. Gene brings his grandson Caleb with him since he is so frail.
Piper’s mother and sister’s have been fussing at her again that she doesn’t have a boyfriend and not even a date for his sister’s wedding. She grabs Caleb, a workaholic millionaire and announces that he is her boyfriend. Gene thinks this is a spectacular idea and encourages Caleb to pretend for her. Will they get caught? Will they fall in love with each other? Will Piper get her rent raise cancelled? Bella Greene’s book definitely deserves 5 stars again!.

This was such a cute story. It’s a quick and easy, low-angst read. I found the characters sweet and engaging. There were fun scenes and interactions. And cute banter. Caleb, a pharmaceutical company founder and head, and his grandfather Gene visited Rustic Ridge to investigate mismanagement of properties owned by Gene. On their first visit to one of those properties they went to meet Piper in her bakery. Feeling harassed by her family, Piper claimed Caleb was her boyfriend and would accompany her to an upcoming family wedding. As they do, the lines between their fake relationship and their real feelings got hazy. “‘Because this,’ she gestures between us, ‘feels like the kind of thing you don’t let go of, no matter the miles.’” Piper and Caleb had some really sweet scenes together. I loved how comfortable they became with each other. This is not a long book, so I worried it might feel rushed, but it really didn’t. They just seemed to settle in together very naturally. Gene and Piper’s dog together were too cute for words. I liked how the past heartbreaks of the main characters was a side note that helped inform us obout them, rather than intruding into the story and relationship. This is a sweet and clean story with no harsh language.

"This is temporary. It’s pretend. I doubt we are destined for romance, but it might be nice to play the part—even if it’s just for a little while...."

Okay, THIS is a 5 star story. I don't give them out often, but this one ended with me in tears. Loved it!

This one is the second book I read by Bella Greene, and the first one left me wanting more. This one shares a similarity in that there really isn't a conflict to push back on the romance developing... but somehow the story still grows and pulls you in. This is well written and the love is so sweet.

In this story Piper is a bakery owner prepping for her sisters wedding coming up. At the very moment her family is pressuring her to bring a date to the wedding... in walks Caleb and he instantly becomes her "fake boyfriend" to get her family off her back. He also becomes her wedding date. Caleb (a billionaire) plays along, and his grandfather (the owner of Piper's bakery) also goes along with the charade. The story follows along as they work on the fake relationship and grow a true friendship... all leading up to the wedding date.

This is just a sweet story, that will not only pull you into the relationship but also make you want to live in Rustic Ridge too!

Wonderful story!!!

Gizmo and Gene certainly give Caleb and Piper a run for their money as the best couple in this story. :D

Piper is a no-nonsense business owner, who after being almost swindled by her landlord's slimy estate manager writes to her landlord, Gene. Gene is getting on in years, and so he asks his grandson, Caleb, to go with him to check out his various properties in Rustic Ridge.

I loved how Piper and Caleb's meet cute happened, and I adored how Gene just jumped right in to support Piper's story and push Caleb to play along.

The various side-characters added a lot of fun and a good dynamic to the story and I enjoyed all the interactions.

As with any Novella, it can be difficult to truly flesh out a story, but Bella Greene does a phenomenal job with Whisked Away By My Billionaire Fake Boyfriend.

Is a sweet clean billionaire fake boyfriend, small town romance with no cliffhanger.

When billionaire CEO Caleb walks into Piper's bakery, he gets more than a sweet treat, he now has a fake girlfriend.

Lines I like -- "Money can't buy connections, Caleb. In fact, it often does more harm than good in relationships." ---
"But moving on doesn't always mean leaving the past behind entirely. Sometimes it means confronting it, learning from it, and allowing yourself to open up to new possibilities." ---
"But please trust that you raised me well and let me make my own choices. Not what you think is right, but what will provide me stability, love, and balance in my life." ---
"I think women are God’s way of driving men crazy. You can never predict who you'll fall for, and once you do, you'll do anything to make her happy."

I loved the book and I know you will too. It's very hard to put down. I received a free ARC and this is my honest opinion.

A part of the Sweet Spring Kisses series that can be read as a standalone. A wonderfully sweet and clean romance read. Greene gives us the HEA journey of main characters Piper and Calab. Piper is a successful career woman - owner of a bakery but her family thinks life isn't as sweet as it should be for her - she just needs a man - so in the heat of the moment she blurts that an attractive new customer is her boyfriend in hopes to get her family off her back - thankfully handsome stranger is game. Calab, wealthy grandson to one of Piper's regular customers he comes to her rescue and as the story unfolds in all it's rom-com cuteness this fake relationship buds into real love. Love these characters and this sweet storyline is smooth flowing and captivating. Told wonderfully from dual points of view - this is a great escape to a HEA romance! I can't wait for more!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.

Caleb, a wealthy businessman, accompanied his beloved grandfather Gene from Chicago to Rustic Ridge, a small town miles away, to check on Gene's many investment properties.

Meanwhile, Piper, the owner of a bakery in the small town, is struggling to keep her mother and sisters from forcing her into a relationship with a man of their choice, so Piper would have a date to her sister Missy's wedding. As they are pressuring her, Caleb came into the bakery, and Piper impulsively tells her family that he is her boyfriend. Fortunately, Caleb goes along with the ruse and agrees to be her fake boyfriend.

I really enjoyed the story, the characters, even Piper's feisty dog Gizmo who made a deep connection to Gene. Missy was something of a bridezilla... she wanted Piper to make three wedding cakes, a task that would take countless hours, and even wear a mustard yellow bridesmaid gown.

Caleb and Piper developed real feelings for each other as one would predict, and after many twist and turns we got the anticipated (required?) happy ending. A very sweet romance.

No silly drama, just love

Piper comes from a loving family, but they're really old fashioned. They still think a woman should be a stay at home housewife, so they aren't huge fans of Piper's independence and she working hard to have her own bakery. With her sister's upcoming weeding, she'll be the only one single and all the matchmaking focus is focused on her. Enters (literally) Caleb, a handsome (and unknowingly rich) stranger visiting her bakery, whom in a desperate moment to free herself of the matchmaking nonsense, she declares is her boyfriend. Luckily he play along.
From that moment everything will change for both of them.

This is such a sweet story to warm your soul. No unnecessary drama, just two people getting to know each other, helping each other, and realizing they can't live without the other.

P.S. Gizmo and Gene are the real loving couple here 😆💕

Awesome!! Sweet , and I don’t mean the tasty bakery eats. Piper is very head on career minded and her bakery speaks for her success , but to her interfering family , it isn’t enough. She should be settling down with a husband family , homebird… She ends up with a plus one ,at a wedding when Caleb a stranger , in the right place , right steps and he agrees to fake date. Only Caleb’s world is turning on its axis faster than the chaos of her family’s drama . Charm central! And that’s just the grandfather! Seems theres a new matchmaker in town but this one doesn’t make her frown….well not any more . Great writing , perfect banter , love the characters and the descriptions are on point too. I received this book as an ARC. The opinions are entirely my own. I have to say I loved Piper and Caleb, and especially Gene! P&C story had funny and sweet moments, although the timing was relatively fast, you could feel their connection and friendship blossoming. The reason for my 4 stars is because I passionately disliked the family, if I were Piper I would have definitely moved away the first chance I got (lol), I don’t feel they redeemed themselves, but that is also in favor of the author, as she made me have strong feelings about them! Another thing is, I would have also taken advantage of the Dominic character a bit more. Other than that is a good story for a lazy afternoon and for those who are fans of hallmark movies like me!

Bella Greene has done it again! I haven’t been able to put this story down. It is a clean, dual pov romance. If you live fake dating and no third act break ups, this story is for you. Piper’s character is so easy going and lovable. Caleb described her as the glue that held her family together and I can totally see it even with her being the youngest of her sisters. Caleb and his relationship with his grandfather is so sweet. Honestly I feel like that is the biggest show of his character because he truly loves his grandfather with everything he has and honestly I wish I had a sneak peek into what their adventures were like when Caleb was growing up (I can totally see these two causing mischief). This book was a part of a series but can easily be read as a stand alone novel.

Piper and Caleb—she owns a bakery and does a thriving business in her small town; he owns a pharmaceutical company in Chicago. When she writes to complain about the agent handling her rent, Caleb’s grandfather talks Caleb into making a road trip like they did when he was younger. As he walks into the bakery, she approaches him and identifies him as her boyfriend. She needs a date to her sister’s wedding and her mother is trying to set her up. Caleb goes along with it, and as the wedding nears, he realizes that there’s nothing fake about his feelings for her. His grandfather decides to move there so he can hang out with the new friends he’s made and Caleb and Piper commit to making their relationship work. Overall, a sweet story, though there are a couple of places that need some work.

When Caleb takes his grandfather to investigate an issue with one of his tenants he gets more than the answers they were looking for. Piper is the youngest and only single daughter in her family. She's also the only one who wants to do something other than be a stay at home wife/mom. When her family pushes her to the limit right as a handsome stranger walks into her bakery she claims him as her boyfriend. Little does she know he's the grandson of her landlord. Will he play along? How does her family take the news? What happens when grandpa decides to retire?.

When Caleb accompanies his grandfather to the small town of Rustic Ridge to visit his investment properties and meet one of the tenants who runs a bakery, he gets more than he bargained for. Piper is beautiful and claims he is her boyfriend before they even get introduced. Piper, desperate to ward off her mother’s matchmaking antics, claims the handsome stranger walking into her bakery is her boyfriend. Caleb agrees to help her. And as he settles his grandfather’s business affairs can’t help but fall in love with the town, community and his beautiful fake girlfriend. This is a fun sweet story. A quick and enjoyable read. This was another great book by Bella Greene. The author does a wonderful job describing the familial conflicts resulting from differing beliefs of the role a woman should play in a relationship. In addition, it is clear by the telling of the story that although there are fundamental differences in the beliefs held by family members, family trumps all of that. Also, the chemistry between the main characters is excellently written. From the beginning, Caleb and his grandfather, Gene, capture your hearts and fill a place in Piper's life and family.

Piper is the owner of a bakery with a family that is determined to see her married off. When her mother and sisters start again about her getting married at the same time Caleb and his grandfather enters the bakery. Piper takes one look at Caleb and tells her family that her boyfriend has just come into the bakery and with that statement changes her life forever. This heartfelt story had me all caught up in Pipe and Caleb's drama as they get to know each other and dance around her family. Will their fake relationship turn into the real deal.

This was such a fun read. Piper owns her own bakery and is tired of having her mom and sisters not support her. When her mom tries to find her a date for her sister's wedding, Piper has had enough.

When Caleb comes to the bakery with his grandpa to figure out if Piper's accustations about the manegemetn company are true, Piper introduces him as her boyfriend, just to get her family off her back. Caleb goes along with, not quite sure what to do.

You will have to read the book to find out if Piper and Caleb get together for real.

Caleb Mercer, head of his own pharmaceutical company in Chicago, and his grandfather, Gene, head out to Rustic Ridge, Indiana. Piper, owner of her own bakery, is the writer of a letter to Gene about the illegal practices of the man managing her lease there. When they arrive, Piper identifies Caleb as her boyfriend in an attempt to get her parents and 3 older sisters to stop their matchmaking. Caleb had been hurt in the past by women attracted to his wealth to get him to marry them. Piper has no idea who Caleb is and he is immediately drawn to her. Piper is making the 3 wedding cakes for her sister's wedding. Caleb also agrees to be her date to the wedding. I found myself drawn into their story and read it in less than a day! A sweet romance and worth the time to read!.

Whisked Away By My Billionaire Fake Boyfriend

A sweet story that weaves in family drama with a bakery, wedding details and a dreamboat billionaire who sweeps the talented cake and cookie baker off her feet. Caleb and Piper are destined to be together, unless doubts and insecurity between them crash the budding relationship. Throw in Piper’s chaotic family and Caleb’s precious grandfather together and hope for the best. Will Piper and Caleb have their own HEA? Whisked Away by my Billionaire (Fake) Boyfriend is a delightful stand-alone book. It is part of the ‘Sweet, Spring Kisses series’ by various authors and you do not have to have read the other books in order to enjoy this book.
Caleb reluctantly agrees to do his grandfather a favour and within minutes of arriving in town he finds himself fake engaged to bakery owner Piper.

This is a delightful romcom with great characters and a good storyline. I love the touches of humour and the banter that run throughout the book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn’t want to put it down therefore I highly recommended it.

Piper is sick of her family harping about her non traditional values of working and not wanting to be a stay at home mom when she tells them her boyfriend is Caleb, not realizing he is the building owner’s grandson. Grandad was a riot and he fell for Piper’s mischievous dog quickly. But her family keeps trying to break Piper and Caleb up and I was annoyed by how much they put her down and used her. Piper and Caleb also have some lack of communication issues which add to the drama but put a stress on their pretend but heading towards real relationship.

Good read

After dealing with the trauma of being involved with Phil, Lyra finally found happiness in the arms of someone she would have never met had it not been for the car crash that brought him into the hospital she worked at. Chip saw his doctor and knew that she was different from the other women that came his way, she didn't see him for the money he ha, she saw someone needing care and that she was able to give.
Be careful of those around you that tends to seem friendly but who are selfish like Tilly, she showed her true self at the end.
