4 Gorgeously Romantic Stars
Friends to lovers and other complications!!!
This is the story of Carissa and Josh.... their paths crossed 3 years before.... time passed.... things and other people happened... What will happen now???
Carissa impulsively takes on a summer renovation project but things don't quite go to plan with her contractor. Luckily for her, ex Marine Josh has his very own contractor business and offers a helping hand. Is that all that's on offer???
Josh and Carissa are drawn inexplicably to one another but they have one big stumbling block.... A code of honour. A pact!! Do not mess with your friends exes.... Neither of them wants to lose a valuable friendship.... or risk the wrath of their close-knit community.

Carissa’s a good girl at heart. She tries to do the right thing and avoid situations that will cause unease. And she believes she SHOULD NOT be fantasizing about Josh!! No! No! No!
I love her sassy personality, her feistiness. She doesn’t just fall into his arms. Josh has to work for it and this makes us the reader want it even more…..Anticipation and longing is wonderful.
Josh's moral fibre is admirable. He’s such a good man... and incredible sexy! It was a refreshing change to read about him, and it helped that he's as sexy as hell!! He wants to do the right thing by everyone.
But Josh has a secret…. A secret that could ruin his friendship??? Maybe?? And Carissa could suffer from small mind mentality??
They needed to keep things uncomplicated. NO emotional involvement…
Are some things worth the risk?

Her emotions were slightly contrary at times.
I kept having a slight nagging question in my head... but why???
Why can't you be together???
The situation with the ex-boyfriend seemed amicable... They're friends so, the 'drama' and reason Josh and Carissa are off limits to each other is a tad unnecessary, if I'm absolutely 100% honest, but at the same time, for some reason, I found it plausible??? I believed that the characters believed it, however misguided they were, if that makes sense? For me character motivation and believibility are very important so I did give this aspect of the story some thought.
There's a whole lot of drama with Josh's building company that added further layers to the story and the budding relationship of Josh and Carissa

My heart hurt a little each time he thought a relationship with Carissa was not possible, he was just so lovely....
Their intense attraction to one another became palpable. I love stories where the main characters have such an intense pull towards each other.
There are some incredibly HOT times. Smoking!! I enjoyed that a lot!!
The story is told from a dual point of view, which is always luscious, and it occasionally went back in time to cover key events from the past. I loved that because it gave me so much more understanding and meaning.
And in the end, after all the drama.... Just beautiful!!!
The story is a stand alone, although happily, there's a second story about another character in the book coming soon!!
Can't Shake You is a SUPER, GORGEOUS, ROMANTIC read!!! By the end the character's feelings were so intense my heart was fit to burst for them.... If you like spending your reading time on a romantic cloud with some character driven drama, you will enjoy this pretty read.

3--Bros Before Hoes--Stars!!
What can I say?? I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I think my biggest problem was with the conflict.
So three years ago Carissa was in town visiting her friend Maddie when she meets Josh. It's love at first sight and all that jazz and they end up spending the night together and having the best sex of their lives.
Only for Josh to be deployed a few weeks later. While, Josh is gone Carissa ends up dating Josh's best friend Reed, aka Fletcher. They break up shortly after Josh returns but now things are all weird for everyone.
Apparently Josh, Reed and all of their buddies had this big Bros before Hoes clause. But Josh and Carissa never told anyone they slept together.
Carissa is flipping a house and it turns out she's getting screwed over by her contractor and so Josh swoops in and saves the day. So naturally, things between Josh and Carissa heat back up again....what with the off the charts sex and all.
But hooking back up would be a direct violation of the bros before hoes clause.
I mean FFS, these people are in their mid to late twenties, who gives a shit who sleeps with whom. You people are adults, act like it. Talk to Reed. No, instead they act like they are still in high school and keep it a big secret.
So of course it all blows up when it could have been avoided by a simple conversation.
Sadly, I also thought the side story of someone targeting Josh didn't add anything to the story. Not to mention, I figured out "who done it" right away.
The writing was pretty good, and it was steamy I just didn't get the whole conflict. Bros Before Hoes....really?

4 Surprisingly Good Stars
When I read the description of Can’t Shake You and requested the ARC, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. On its face it seems like a cute little contemporary romance with a convenient plot device thrown in to insure our MCs don’t get to ride off into the sunset together too easily. While it’s most definitely both of those things, it’s also at times funny, heartbreaking and sexy as hell.
Josh and Carissa met three years ago through Josh’s brother Dan and Carissa’s bff Maddie, who also happen to be a couple. The sexual tension between Josh and Carissa was undeniable and even though Carissa lived a few towns over and Josh was set to deploy to Iraq, the two spent an unforgettable night together. Fast forward a couple of years when Josh returns home with thoughts of exploring a relationship with Carissa on his mind only to find out she’s moved to his hometown and is now dating one of his best friends. Since Josh never claimed Carissa as his before he left and she’s now dating his friend, apparently he can NEVER ask her out or pursue her romantically. You know, bros before hoes and all that jazz. Now a year later finds Carissa and Josh both single and both wanting a relationship that can never be. Damn the small town “rules” they’re forced to live by! Yep, this was my biggest and really only problem with the story. What the hell kind of sorry excuse for not pursuing a relationship is that? You’re telling me that in a small town that often lacks fresh dating prospects, once a girl’s taken her shot with one of these guys who’ve been friends since high school (and the group of friends is large), that’s it for her and any hopes of dating an attractive, successful man? No, nuh uh, I don’t think so! Suffice it to say this story would’ve been much stronger with a conflict that didn’t seem so easy to overcome simply by saying “We’re dating now. You got a problem with that, bitches?!?”
Story problems aside, I absolutely loved Josh and Carissa together. The dialogue and banter was always natural and there was real affection between the two and they actually liked each other as friends beyond the sexy times. Carissa and Josh both find themselves dealing with life and work related issues and I enjoyed seeing them rely on each other for support, even with the lack of a real “relationship.” And the sex? The sex between these two was hot as hell from the very beginning. The appreciation these two have for each other’s bodies and what they can manage to accomplish with them made Josh’s decision not to pursue a relationship piss me off all that much more. Sheet burning sex isn’t always easy to come by, especially when your buddies keep claiming all of the available women.
While I did have my obvious issues with this story, I also had a fabulous time reading it. Can’t Shake You could’ve easily been a 3 Star read for me, but I found it to be an entertaining and sexy read that's most definitely 4 star worthy.

4.5 – Shaken and Stirred Stars!
If “Can’t Shake You” is truly Molly McLain’s first book then all I can say is -
This book was a joy to read from start to finish, I honestly have not written one negative thing in my notes.
Josh was swoonworthy, tattooed and a soon-to-be ex-marine. Carissa is smart, sassy and not afraid to go after what she wanted, their friends and family likeable and easy to read. No major angst or off-the-charts sob stories. Just a group of people going about their lives in River Bend, and dealing with the problems that are thrown their way, I loved that they had a little history between them and we got too see glimpses of it as the story unfolds, there is also a little suspense thrown in just for good measure.
This is the type of book, that when I have finished reading it, leaves me fluttery tingles in the bottom of my tummy. The flutters are for the excitement that I may have just discovered my next drop-everything-for-to-read-series, and the tingles are for that feeling you get when you know you have discovered an author that has the potential to blow you away with each and every book they release.
What I loved about Can’t Shake You most is it’s the foundation stone in what I believe could be absolute series-gold, we are introduced to enough secondary characters in the book that there is potential for quite a few more to follow on. I love that Tony is getting his story next, and I CANNOT wait until June to read Can’t get Enough.

It’s been three years since Carissa and Josh has shared a secret night, one that forever changed their lives, too bad that night came at the wrong time. A lot has happened since then, Josh came back to find “his girl” in a relationship with his best friend, and since he never laid claim to her before he left, according to the man code, she was Fletcher’s and not his. Avoiding each other at ever possibility pretending that they are just friends is getting harder and harder to do especially now that she is a single woman again. Plus it doesn’t help that Carissa is in a bind when her spontaneous summer renovation project is in jeopardy and she has no choice but to accept the help of Josh.
Josh never mixes his business with pleasure, but even after all these years he can’t forget what it’s like to have her under him. Josh has been all work and no play and Carissa is too much of a temptation just by simply breathing. Thinking this is their chance to finally put out the fire between them once they give in to their desires but deep down they know there is no chance they both are gonna come out unharmed.
Between keeping their naughty little secret, Josh’s work, Carissa’s hang-ups, a nosy small town they have their plates filled. How long can it all lasts before everything starts to crumble ???
Can’t Shake You was a great steamy read, dealing with the small town life. The whole lovers to friends to lovers thing was complicatedly delicious, it made their pre/post interactions even more entertaining because you were in on the secret. Josh had a heart of gold, wanting to do what is right even though he probably will end up on the Carissa’s shit list. Carissa wants to prove she can handle things on her own, but the thing about a small town you are never really alone, someone is always there to look out for and take care of you.
Their story is told from both their POV, with plenty heat and a lil mystery that had me devouring the book in one sitting. One thing that I had to get used was the man code, I was yelling at the book for them to man-up and shout their secret out, but in the end I understood where they were coming from, small town dynamics and all. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, something tells me Tony’s story is gonna be a sweet steamy read ;) Another thing, the warning that came with the book, for me it wasn’t really a warning more like a welcome sign … lol

1 Star -- I knew immediately I wasn't going to like this one. The dialogue fell flat for me. I really don't like when women dialogue like men about sex. They don't and to portray them as they do just sounds off. The touches of humor didn't work either. It didn't get any better for me as the book progressed.
My husband said I had a puzzled look on my face when he saw me reading this one. Wanted to know why? Well ... this one just doesn't come together. The humor isn't humorous and then I read him some of the dialogue. Hmm... why are you reading that? Don't you have something else you can read? He's right. Time to move on.

1 Star -- I knew immediately I wasn't going to like this one. The dialogue fell flat for me. I really don't like when women dialogue like men about sex. They don't and to portray them as they do just sounds off. The touches of humor didn't work either. It didn't get any better for me as the book progressed.

4.5 Sweet n Sexy Stars
Wow, what a GREAT read:) My only issue, hence my half star deduction, was for the main "issue" that had kept them in hiding! I didn't buy it and thought it was absurd and the fact that t went on for THAT long without anyone knowing was complete BS, lol, sorry just calling it like I sa it. Other than that "issue", I LOVED it.
The storyline outside of the "issue" that I had, I feel was very good, the characters were great and I enjoyed them all immensely and the build-up with the H and the h was HOT!!!!! This was a great, easy read, flowed very well, had some suspense and really HOT sex, lol, and it was simply the perfect afternoon in the sun read:)
I loved Josh but Carissa stole the show for me:) I absolutely LOVED the fact that she took the initiative when the time was right, I loved that she went with the "flow" of things throughout, there was no wishy-washy, she went after what she wanted and I LOVED that about her!
I cannot wait to read more by this author and MORE of this series:)

This was a good, sweet romance...solid debut for Molly McLain!
Carissa and Josh had a connection three years ago...the timing off, situations making it a fleeting moment...only it wasnt! Time has passed and Josh is home from Afghanistan, a sexy marine running his own successful contracting company. Carissa moved on with his best friend, and although it didnt really work out for them, it still makes for a tense atmosphere every time Carissa and Josh are near.
This book had a lot of "fate" like moments! It was as if the world was conspiring to make Josh and Carissa whole again. From wedding party partners, construction needs, and small town meet up...these two could not get away from one another. This was ok since neither could deny the connection between them. When the tension was too much and libido won over the mind, it was sesual and so right! Now if only the rest of the world would get on the Josh and Carissa train all would be well!
For the most part, this book was predictable. From the "finally" moment when the panties dropped, to the off story of vandalism at Josh's company, everything was easily seen. The angst factor was minimum and honestly...the whole "bros over hos" as the crux of drama was a bit weak! I did take issue with Maddie and Dan and Mark's POV..honestly who cares what they hell they think! Geeze way to not be supportive! Oh well...Josh Hudson is enough to keep you reading! He is very noble and good hearted...he is a Marine! Josh and Carissa are pretty special and they make a good romantic tale!

Can’t Shake You is Molly McLain’s debut and she is off to an awesome start! This book alternates POV between Carissa and Josh which is great because you were able to get into both of their heads. Carissa is a very normal and likable character and Josh is an ex-Marine/Contractor and is super sexy! The chemistry between these two was off the charts and the sex was H-O-T! Throw in a little mystery and some great secondary character and this was an excellent read :) I am really excited that this is going to be a series; I can’t wait for both Tony and Reed’s stories!

This is Molly McLain's debut novel and she's off to a great start. I really enjoyed Molly's writing style and story development. I would consider this book to be a contemporary romance. The sex scenes are steamy but tame. The attraction and tension between the lead characters propels the book forward. (Josh and Carissa) The dialogue at times can fall a bit flat. I wasn't the biggest fan of the supporting BFF role- Maddie. This is book 1 in what looks to be a whole series around the town River Bend. I'm eager to see who the next character focus will be on because... I didn't have a connection any of the supporting characters.
I did enjoy the "eye candy" that Josh provided. He had a few alpha tendencies that I wish were explored more. Carissa was an okay lead, it was harder for me to relate to her. There is a whole slew of backstory for her that gets a bit complicated to follow (and is never fully explained).
There is a bit of a mystery/suspense in the book, someone is out to get Josh. It provided some drama to the plot
Overall, this is a feel good novel and had a hard time putting it down. And while I hate to compare authors, if you are a fan of the Robyn Carr series, this book may be up your alley.

I pretty much enjoyed this story, it was all I expected. What I did not expect was the small suspense part in it. And it was so small that I ended up wanting for more of it. It's in the background of their romance, "forbidden" love, secret lust for each other.
They spent one night together, got completely hooked for each other. After some time, they meet again and he discovers she is dating his best friend. They kept their thing a secret, even after she got single again and even after they started hooking up again. It was actually a pretty fun read, and I enjoyed the chemistry between them, constant fights regarding job or anything else. And I understand their reason why they kept it a secret, but seriously, it was like you are stuck in high school and are not allowed to cross some boundaries.
The reason why not 4 stars is that the suspense part ended abruptly. Like it was culminating to that part, and you knew what would happen, and it happens, and they get the villain and that's the problem. The conclusion to that part is one sentence and romance moves on. It goes through the whole book in the background and then just simply ends like that.
Overall, I enjoyed it and had fun reading it.

I have to say I couldn't stand the heroine's (Carissa) best friend Maddie. She seemed like a bitch and was kinda mean about Josh and kept pushing every other man at Carissa except the one you would think to to have her with - Josh. Josh is her future brother-in-law and I'm not sure why she kept thinking it would be disgusting for the two of them to get together.
I also thought that the plot conflict was rather thin. That was the dumbest excuse to keep Josh and Carissa apart.
The story would have been good if written differently.

Josh Hudson is a good guy: local contractor, Marine reservist, loyal friend. There's just one problem...he can't stop thinking about Carissa Brandt and the night they shared three years earlier. And acting on that still vibrant attraction would be super complicated. Molly takes us back to that night through flashbacks, and it's absolutely delicious to see where Josh and Carissa started, and all that has happened since.

And good Lord, Carissa knows how to get this man's blood pumping, "she gasped and trembled in his arms, involuntarily bouncing against his throbbing co** and damn near making his eyes roll back in his head. "Jesus, woman," he growled." He gets offended easily especially over his skills, "not nice to laugh at a guy less than ten seconds after sex, babe," he muttered, falling back down against the blanket." And let's not start on the jealousy issues he has, "hey, you might've just stirred up a hornets' nest. Who knows? I may go absolutely nympho now, throwing myself at every man I see." Okay wow! I have been reading Zoe York for a little while now and got an email about a new author. Well I took the initiative and love discovering new stuff. I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY I READ THIS BOOK!!!!
Let me start by it was pretty freaking good, steamy, and actually had a plot to it. From the beginning your are dragged in by the sassy Carissa and the brooding Marine Josh.
Thanks to a one night stand, a stupid rule among friends, and stubbornness the two have been unhappy for a while. This story is how they get over all of that while dealing with Carissa's best friend Maddie and Josh's brother Dan's wedding. I seriously got to the last page and was so mad my kindle decided to not let me turn the page. I'm not proud but I seriously sat there for a time trying to get the page to turn. I even looked at my sister and asked if she could try. She thought I had locked up the kindle or something, but no I'm sad to admit I just did not want this book to end.
I can't wait for more!!!!

Have I told you already how much i LOVE second chance stories?! Well, I do. THEY ARE FANTASTIC and throw in a little secrecy and drama and I am hooked! LOL
SO in my usual nutshell way (because I do not like to give away plots .... read the book lol) I'm gonna tell you this is a story about a girl (Carissa) and boy (Josh) who share a past (one night stand) and common friends (one being carissa's ex) and now, 3 years later they try a relationship but in secret. Cue drama and laughter for me! LOL I honestly thought this story was really sweet and the ending ... OH MY! LOVED IT. The story is told from a dual point of view, which is always my favorite, and it occasionally went back in time to cover key events from the past. That allowed you to have more understand on the whys of what was happening in the present and it helped in understanding the storyline.
This is my second experience with Ms McLain and I am happy to say that I love her work. I cannot wait to read more of these characters in this series.

But, his tour in Afghanistan left Carissa open catch. In step's in Josh's best friend, Reed.
Carissa had no clue how Josh really felt about her the day he left for tour.
Three years later...
Josh is back and feels indebted to keeping his feelings to himself for the simple fact that Reed & Carissa were together the whole time he was away. Now no longer together (Reed and Carissa), Josh still feels he is obligated to stick to the "bro code" and not pursue what was rightfully his first - if he had opened his mouth from day one.

Yeah, I didn't get very far into this one. There were so many issues I had with the characters and storyline.
So the main chick goes to visit her friend one summer, finds insta love with the marine, has sex, and leaves.
Years flash by, she's back flipping a house, and needs his help. They fall back into insta love, but are convinced that if anyone knows they're having sex, they'll be in trouble. These are ADULTS people. Trust me. No one gives a crap, no matter how small the town is or how nosy the people are.
I quit. I didn't like the writing style, didn't care for the characters, I hate romantic suspense, and I'm not a fan of insta love.

The author did a great job of giving the history of the main characters by jumping between present day and three years earlier without it getting confusing. I really loved Carissa. She was feisty, strong but had vunerable moments. Josh was the perfect H. Lovvvved when he said "baby girl". Hot, steamy and a great HEA. Please grab this book as soon as you can! You won't regret it.

The one thing that couldn't stop at all while reading this book was either smiling or laughing. This book made me happy even when there was sad parts (I think something is wrong with I think about it...) but I think I have another or few new Book Boyfriends. I love Josh, Tony, Reed, and Dan. Josh is the kind of person who always puts others before himself. Overall, Can't Shake You is an enjoyable read filled with characters that will grab your attention from the beginning. I'm glad this is a series because I'd love to read more about the supporting characters and hopefully also get to see what the future holds for Carissa and Josh. Definitely looking forward to reading Tony's story in Can't Get Enough!

Can't Shake You,....
I was gifted an ARC from Molly...and I can't thank her enough...It was a beautiful book about Second Chances...
Josh Hudson is a nice sexy Marine who has just returned from his service overseas....He has one wonderful night with Carissa Brandt before he left for deployment...."From the moment he’d stepped into the pub and their eyes had locked, he knew she was someone special."
When he comes back after 3 years he is crushed that she's was dating his best friend Reed..He never claimed her as his, but man he should have just told her. He still have a thing for her, and finds out she's not with his friend anymore.
The excitement has just begun..wait and see...
Carissa Brandt is a strong, but vulnerable person....After the loss of her mother things changed between her father and brother.... I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I’m always interested in reading new authors, whether they are new to me or new, as in releasing their first book. In this case, Molly McLain is both. After reading Can’t Shake You, I was so impressed, I had to ask her if she’s sure this is her first. I really loved this book!
The characters in this book have depth and a history, something that is important to me. I don’t like reading about characters whose pasts I know nothing about. I also don’t like writers who feel they have to repeat things over and over to make sure the reader “gets it” or to fill a page. Ms. McLain does none of that as her words and thoughts are clear throughout.
Josh Hudson is a former Marine who had a one night fling with Carissa Brandt the night before he was deployed. For three years he couldn’t get her out of his mind. While he was gone, Carissa got involved in a relationship of convenience with Josh’s best friend, Reed, which ended before his return. When Josh comes home, he keeps Carissa at a distance to stay true to his promise to himself that he would never get involved with his friends’ former girlfriends. Unbeknownst to him, Carissa never forgot that night three years ago, either. She knew from that night that he was the one for her.
In the midst of flipping a house, Carissa fires her contractor, Alex, for being less than honest. Josh, who now owns his own commercial contracting business offers to help her with the flip. A good idea? Not so much for two people trying to deny their attraction and stay just friends. Despite Josh’s determination to keep it just that way, Carissa is not as sure. Will they follow their hearts and take a chance on more? What follows is a nice balance of mystery as to who is trying to sabotage Josh’s business, of a long-time friendship between Josh and Reed on the verge of ending, and of a sizzling hot romance between Josh and Carissa.

I got it on NetGalley!!!! *Happy Dancing*
Wow. Okay. So I started reading it, and I could barely tear myself away. I stayed up until 2:30 reading this sucker when I had to work in the morning. I don't even feel bad either.
This was me the entire time I was reading Can't Shake You:
What stood out about this book was the heroine. I actually really really liked her. She wasn't weak (and I don't mean physically, I mean emotionally), she was self-aware, and she never gave up. The side plot, the non-romance one, was pretty simple and there were really no surprises there. However, I just didn't care. The romantic plot was perfect. It's so refreshing to have a female character who stood her ground in the relationship. I love that she initiates the romance and is the one who keeps it together.
Josh is an excellent front man as well. He's not quite as put together as Car is, but that's his journey. He's an extremely hot, wonderful alpha male. Every scene where he was jealous was done perfectly. It was just enough to make you hot but not too much that you wanted to hit him with a 2x4. Because, seriously, if a sweat built former-Marine construction worker doesn't do it for you, I don't know what will.
Drool.
I really loved how both characters owned up to their mistakes and were trying to be better people. I loved the side story of Car with her family.
This is a really excellent solid romance with smokin' hot sex scenes. Definitely recommended for the romance crowd. This was an excellent debut, and Molly McLain is an author to look out for.

This story revolves around Carissa Brandt and Josh Hudson to people who Three years ago went to dinner and drinks with Dan (Josh’s Brother) and Maddie (Dan’s Fiancé and Carissa’s friend) and were ditched during after dinner drinks. There were sparking chemistry between this Marine and the new comer to River Bend, Nebraska from the minute they both walked in the door.
Carissa really didn’t want to go to Maddie’s and hear her and Dan getting their groove on so she thought out loud and Josh responded. Josh being the nice horny guy he is tells her she can stay on his couch or bed, with a devilish smirk and Carissa jumps on it and him. At some point Josh deploys for two tours never giving any indication that he would want a relationship or more so she ask for him to keep it their secret.
When he returns she is with one of his best friends. He’s not happy but what can he say, “Hey Fletch, I jumped you gal bones before you did.” I think not. So, he’s kept the secret even though it killed him, dreaming about her daily and Carissa about him too. They were both wanting each other and both not happy but not wanting to be the first to call “UNCLE!”
When the contractor that Carissa hires turns out to be a fraud and Josh comes to the rescue things take a huge change. You wouldn’t want to miss it…
I totally enjoyed this story. There was not only a romance going on but a mystery suspense going on at the same time it turned out to be who I thought from the start. It did make me start questioning myself thinking it could be one of the key supporting characters. I totally enjoyed the bond and pull Josh and Carissa had on each other. What just tugged at me was the talk between Josh and his Dad. You won’t want to miss it, I know you will enjoy it and this book too.

3 years ago Carissa was new to town, ready to escape the baggage that had been holding her back. She meets Josh a Marine who's ready to ship out for deployment. The attraction is wild and their one night of sex something out of a romance novel, but Josh is shipped out before they got a chance to know each other.
Now things have changed Josh is home a popular contractor in his home town, a town where nothing escapes the gossip grapevine. Josh still has eyes for Carissa but he knows he can't act on it. It goes against the guy code.. During his deployment Carissa had a relationship with his friend Reed. Even though they are now Ex's and Reed is the town playboy he can't do that to his friend.
However when Car starts getting ripped off by Alex Kelly another contractor in town he knows he has to step in and help his friend and the woman in all his fantasies.
Great debut novel for a series that has a lot of promise. I really loved the small town feel to this story and the great characters with memorable personalities. You can just feel the stories brewing in River Bend with its Soap opera feel.
I thought Carissa and Josh made a fabulous couple, well suited and there attraction was HOT! I can't help but feel a lot of their troubles could of been avoided with their misplaced sense of loyalty. I mean come on Reed was the town whore! I liked him but he's still a whore LOL, Man I can't wait for him to fall in love!
I enjoyed the cat and mouse romance mixed with a little of mystery.. Somebody was out for Josh.. but who? and to what end? I liked that their could of been a number of suspects.
Very entertaining bring on book 2.
