Have fun and learn the alphabet from A to Z...the Book of Mormon way! From Ammon. . .to Curelom. . .to Prophet. . . to Zoram. . . the alphabet takes on a whole new meaning when it's attached to Book of Mormon names, places, and things. This is an ideal way for children to learn their ABC's--and to learn about the Book of Mormon, too! A wonderful visual aid for classroom or home evening use, and a fun way to help little ones to be reverent in church.
Such a fun little book! We LOVE Brother Bagley's illustrations--they always leave a smile on our faces. This is a really fun way to tie the things we read in the Book of Mormon to the ABC's, and vice versa. The more familiar the words, the more kids can pay attention when they hear something they recognize. Each letter has a Book of Mormon word that corresponds with it, and a short description of the person, place or thing. Some of the pictures that accompany the words are tastefully done crack-ups (we love the picture of the Gadianton robbers--even their goat is grumpy!), others, like the Savior visiting the Nephites, are tender and very appropriate. Our kids love this book for just thumbing through, reading together, or for quiet times.
