Such a slowwwwwww burn. All the poker lingo really threw me off, and the ending seemed rushed.
Buuuut it was a very unique enemies to lovers, with POC and curvy girl representation which I liked to see.

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 See steam comment above. Highlights: the tent, the amazing first kiss, and sneaking around.
🤩 New adult contemporary romance—Becca is in medical school and Miller is a professional poker player. The theme of finding your career path feels extra good in this book.
🤩 Opposites attract and such beautiful characterization—I’m so smitten with them. They are undeniably themselves. I especially like that it’s a little bit reverse grumpy sunshine.
🤩 Summer camp counselors—both MCs trying to escape life just for a bit.
🤩 He falls first.
🤩 But I love how she finds comfort, home, safety, and care in him.
🤩 Delicious descriptions. I especially like the how Miller sees the beauty in the girl and in Camp Winnie.
🤩 The enemies-to-lovers type banter is fantastic and so fun!
🤩 The unwanted physical attraction and secret pining are beautiful.
🤩 The nature department and goats. Ha!
🤩 Hilarious friend text chats and between the MCs.

Summary:

Miller is a professional poker who just needs something different. His mom suggested he call a teammate from high school who runs a summer camp. Rebecca is a med student that is struggling and facing having to repeat her second year. She decided to see her the summer camp she went to as a kid needs counselors. She just needs to feel comfortable and like she can do something right.


My thoughts:

I love how every book in the series is a slow burn and the collection builds throughout the book. It helps make their connection stronger and more believable.

I loved Rebecca. She was so relatable and the way Miller helped her gain confidence was well done.

I think Lucy the goat was one of my favorite characters from the book. The way she tormented Miller.

I look forward to Blake’s story.

Miller the poker player is feeling like he needs to shake up his life, and gets a job for the summer as a camp counselor. He gets along with everyone, but the one person he wants to Becca. Becca is an introvert and being a camp counselor makes her forget her problems at the moment. Can Miller convince Becca to give him a chance ? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing book. I absolutely love Miller and Becca and their dynamic and character development. Great supporting characters. I love a grumpy sunshine and Becca is definitely a grump. This book has sarcastic humor, secrets, a mean goat, and the spice is so good. This is my first book by this author definitely not my last.

Kate Campfield has done it again! I’m loving the Betting On Love series, and Calling Your Bluff might just be one of my favorites so far.

The reverse grumpy sunshine dynamic was so fun and seeing the usually chill, charming hero completely thrown off by his no-nonsense co-counselor had me hooked from the start.

The banter was sharp, the chemistry was undeniable, and there was such a great balance between humor and emotional depth.

Both characters had layers that unfolded so naturally, and I loved watching them slowly break down each other’s walls. The camp setting added a nostalgic, summery feel and made for some really sweet and heartfelt moments.

Kate’s writing just keeps pulling me in…funny, emotional, and full of heart. I laughed, I swooned, and I rooted for these two the whole way through.

If you love slow burn romance with plenty of sass, charm, and characters you can’t help but love, definitely don’t skip this one and the rest of The Betting On Love Series.

This was such a fun read!! I loved Millers character so much. He never gave up on what he wanted. I love the texts from the whole group, just realized that I missed them & I need to do a reread.
This book wasn’t spicy like the others but it got me hooked. The relationship between Miller and his mom 😘🤌 amazing!!

& the banter between Becca and Miller 😍

What an adorable, light, fluffy read. Becca and Miller are quite adorable. I loved all the inner dialogue and their banter.

Miller really is a top-notch book boyfriend. The way he supports Becca and really comes into himself at Camp Winnie is swoony at the very least. Miler is at Camp to find himself and his way while Becca is there to rediscover herself. The way they end up achieving just that together is great.

It’s for sure a slow burn and the pacing is slower than I am used to, but it not lacking. It’s sweet. It’s not closed door, but it’s not very spicy. Miller’s mom is probably the best character and not only do I adore her, but her relationship with Miller is perfect.

The Down’s Syndrome rep in this book is strong and so heartwarming. It’s the sweetest thing to read Miller with Jordan. Becca also suffers from some decent anxiety which I felt was represented pretty well.

Calling Your Bluff is a slow-burn romance with strong character development that kept me engaged, even though the pacing felt slow at times. While it’s my least favorite in the series, it was still an enjoyable read with well-written relationships and emotional depth. The story takes its time unfolding, which may not be for everyone, but the payoff is worth it. If you enjoy character-driven romances with a gradual build, this one is worth picking up!

Calling Your Bluff is the third book in the Betting on Love series. After reading Cam and Addie's story in book two (Letting It Ride), I knew I wanted to read the rest of the series. Yet again, Kate Campfield did not disappoint.

Miller is a professional poker player who is searching for something different in his life. Rebecca (Becca, Becs) is a medical school student trying to escape. Both find themselves spending the summer working as camp counselors. After communicating via text before camp began, Becs is not Miller's biggest fan. When Miller sees Becs at camp, he instantly falls for her. Although Becs is not swayed by his efforts to be close to her, after some time, Miller makes his way into her heart. Becs realizes Miller is more than what she initially thought.

This story was so much fun to read, and the character development is fantastic! I adored Miller and Becs together. They had amazing chemistry, and the banter was great. Miller and Becs were complete opposites, yet they fit so well. This story is super cute, has lots of laughs, and made me feel nostalgic with a portion of it taking place at a summer camp. I enjoyed the shenanigans of Miller and Becs trying and sometimes failing to be good camp counselors. I also enjoyed how the story was not rushed, and their relationship developed over time. It was a slow burn, but it was completely worth it.

There are so many things to love about this story! I appreciated the cultural diversity and disability representation. The side characters are wonderful. I loved Miller's relationships with his mother and brother. Becs and her parents have a relationship I feel is relatable for many. I loved Miller and his friend group! I can't forget Lucy, the goat, and Bonnie & Clyde, the rabbits. Calling Your Bluff is a well-written story that perfectly balances fun, heat, humor, and sweet-swoony moments. I can't wait for Blake's story!

Becca and Miller meet when each finds their way to Camp Winnie as counselors for the summer. They start off on the wrong foot, and Miller, who feels an instant draw to Becca, has to spend the summer working his way onto her good side and proving that he's not the childish jerk man-boy she's assumed him to be. It's a well written and enjoyable read in which the characters grapple with issues that face many of us as we grow into adults. Who am I, Where do I want to go, What do I want to do, What kind of person do I want to be... Both characters begin to find their answers all while dealing with campers, rogue animals, hilarious group text chats, and fun banter. The third book in the series, Calling Your Bluff has great side characters, disability rep, multicultural rep, a delicious slow burn, and fun summer camp vibes. I really enjoyed reading this one, and it's just as good, if not better than, the books that came before it in the series.

This was such a fun read!

I am definitely in my Kate Campfield era with this Betting On Love series.

It has great spice, banter, characters, and themes.

The characters in this one find themselves in a forced proximity situation, as camp counselors. The FMC thinks the MMC is a prankster who takes nothing seriously, while the MMC is head over heels from the moment he first chats with her.

My only complaint? The slow burn was burning for too long!

In conclusion I gave this book 4 stars because Kate Campfield weaves a touching narrative that captures the struggles of two people at pivotal points in their lives. Becca and Miller are both dealing with their own uncertainties and fears, making their journey together as much about self-discovery as it is about romance. The story delves into the complexities of choosing between personal dreams and newfound love, and whether it’s possible to have both. Calling Your Bluff is a beautifully written tale of love, growth, and the tough decisions that come with adulthood. Campfield’s portrayal of Becca and Miller’s relationship is realistic and relatable, making readers root for them to find a way to be together despite the odds. This book is perfect for anyone who enjoys a story about second chances, personal growth, and the unexpected turns life can take. I must also mention the evil goat who is intent on torturing Miller while at camp. He really gives a comedic element to the story.

This story follows Becca an anxiety filled med student who has failed a class meaning she will need to repeat a year of education, she doesn't want to tell her successful surgeon of a father this so decides to spend the summer working at the camp she attended as a child as its the only place she has ever felt like she is good at anything. Miller is a professional poker player who feels stagnant in life and bored of the same old routine he has found himself in while yearning for more, he gets roped in to working at the same camp as Becca thanks to an old high school friend even though he doesn't know the first thing about it but the second he lays eyes on Becca he is determined to stick it out if only so he can get to know her and the story goes from there.

Now, this is marketed as an enemies to lovers, and for me, that isn't what this is. Becca takes an instant dislike to Miller, and she makes snap judgemental conclusions about the kind of guy he is and frankly treats him horribly for no reason. This attitude she has towards him goes on for over half the book and it is all onesided on her part with a fair amount of repeated inner monologues about her thoughts on Miller & her insecurities surrounding school, herself and what she wants to do with her future. Miller was an absolute sweetheart and never gave Becca a reason to treat him the way she did, and i really struggled to like her character because of it.

I appreciated the disability representation with Millers brother Jordan & other side characters and Becca's anxiety was well written and a good representation of how it can manifest within someone. There were some cute & funny moments, and the tension build-up between Becca & Miller was good. This is an overall entertaining slowburn read, I was unaware it is part of an interconnected stand alone series so there are characters in this that are spoken about that you feel you're meant to know but the fact I didn't had no impact on being able to read this book. If you're in the mood for a relatively low angst read, then this will deliver it. But unfortunately, it didn't deliver what i was hoping it would for me. 🌶🌶

Summary: Miller, a professional poker player, is bored with life and looking for something different to pursue this summer. Rebecca, a medical student, is failing at school and decides to "run away" from her problems and return to the only place she ever felt at peace and home, summer camp. Both make their way as counselors for the summer, but a bad first impression via text by Miller has already solidified Becca's opinion of him. Will he be able to thaw her icy exterior and win her over?

Thoughts: Well this was a perfect summer read and reminded me of my brief times at summer camp (I'm very strongly on the not a camper side.). I could relate so well with Becca and her anxiety whether it was in social situations or the pressures of, in her case, medical school. It was portrayed well within this book, but I also loved that those obstacles didn't deter Miller from wanting to get to know her better. He pushed her outside of her boundaries in a good way to help her regain a love for life even when obstacles come in the way. Miller was such a wonderful breath of comedic relief throughout this whole story and he had me laughing out loud. But he did get serious when he needed to with Becca and the way he supported her dreams and goals showed his love for her. Their chemistry was undeniable as everyone in the camp picked up on it. And always a sucker for a nickname, I love how Miller called her Becs, something very different than anyone had ever called her.

This is book 3 in the series, but read great as a standalone since I haven't read the other books in the series yet, but they are now added to my TBR. If you're looking for a funny, light-hearted summer book, this is the one to take with you on vacation!

Miller, a poker player who unexpectedly finds himself as a camp counselor, and Becca, his no-nonsense co-counselor. Sparks fly, but not in the way you might expect.

I really liked Miller. He’s sweet, funny, and brings a lot of light to the story. His relationships with his family and friends were a joy to read, and he just comes off as a genuinely good guy. However, Becca was a different story. I know she’s supposed to be the "grumpy" one in the grumpy-sunshine trope, but I never really warmed up to her. Because of this, I didn’t find myself rooting for their relationship as much as I wanted to.

The summer camp setting plays a big role in the book, but since I never had a summer camp experience, it didn’t really resonate with me. It felt like a significant part of the story that I just couldn’t connect with. For someone who has those nostalgic camp memories, this aspect might be more appealing.

The romance is a slow burn with good banter but low on the spicy moments. While some readers might enjoy the gradual build-up, I found it just okay. I did appreciate the diversity with Becca being biracial and the representation of Down Syndrome through several characters. However, it felt a bit too convenient how DS kept showing up in the plot.

I was also expecting more about poker and gambling, given the title and cover. There was a scene at the start, but then it kind of disappeared. I think incorporating more of Miller’s betting skills could have added an interesting layer to the story and played up the theme of taking risks.

Overall, "Calling Your Bluff" has its moments, especially with a character like Miller. The diversity and representation are commendable, but the disconnect with Becca, the camp setting, and the underused poker theme left it feeling a bit flat for me. It’s a decent read, especially if you enjoy slow-burn romances and camp nostalgia, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Really loved this book, I loved going to camp as a child and after I graduated High School I was a camp counselor for a few years also so it brought back the same feelings I had towards camp. I loved the dynamic and banter between the characters amd the character growth and development. I wouldn't consider this an enemies to lovers story, Miller was infatuated at first sight with Becca and Becca disliked (I say disliked because she didn't hate him even though she claimed to hate him) Miller because his personality was so different than hers, but after a week of being forced together it was clear she never really hated him she just didn't know him.

I loved the characters romantic development. I fell in love almost immediately with Miller, I don't know how Becca held out for so long because I wouldn't have been able to resist him, he was hilarious and funny and an overall good guy. I didn't realize it was part of a series until a few chapters in when the friend group was getting introduced, I've read enough Elle Kennedy and Meghan Quinn to know that when the author does a 2-3 paragraph synopsis of a characters storyline, they must be reminding the reader of a previous story and I'm all for it! I plan on reading the entire series. I was expecting a third act break up, and it was building like it was going to have one, and I was dreading it! But there really wasn't one and my romantic heart was thrilled with that. I also loved having more mature characters because I felt like a lot of the miscommunication in standard romance novels is just from the characters age and experience level -- and it's easier for me to believe the sex scenes if the characters have ACTAULLY had experience in that department, I'm sorry 20 year olds are just not experienced enough, I've been there, they think they are the best, but they still have growing to do, loved reading about Miller and Becca being in their late 20s!

Miller and Becca’s story was a perfect mix of sass and serious. Miller is the fun guy, always happy and in a good mood, and is just living life. He doesn’t realize he’s hit a stagnant stage until he sees all his friends happy and in relationships, something he’s never really wanted but wants what his friends have. He decides to try something new and go to a summer camp and be a camp counselor. He has no clue what he’s in for, but thinks “how hard can it be?” Becca, on the other hand, knows she is going to be a doctor, knows where her life is headed, and knows what’s expected of her. She doesn’t want to disappoint anyone, so when school doesn’t go as planned, she escapes to her happy place: the summer camp she loves. When Miller and Becca meet, Becca dislikes his way too happy demeanor and laid-back attitude. She doesn’t think they’ll ever get along because they are so opposite. Miller is immediately smitten with Becca. He think’s she’s beautiful, feisty, and smart. He is determined to get her to like him, and little by little, he shows her the kind of man he is, under all the happy and outgoing. As things progress, Miller knows he’s found his person, but Becca is still apprehensive. They have so many roadblocks hindering the advancement of the relationship, and when Becca’s home life rears its head, Miller is left confused. He doesn’t let that deter him and spends months texting and chatting with Becca until he finds a solution to their distance problem. I loved Miller and his ability to look on the bright side of situations. He was always the happy guy because of things that happened when he was a child, and he wanted people to think he was ok. He had a lot more depth once we got to know him better, and I loved the kind of person he was. Becca is so relatable. She never wants to disappoint people, mainly her parents, so she works herself to the bone. She lets life weigh her down until she gets to camp, and then lets loose a little. She judged Miller and didn’t like him at first, but he showed her all sides of him, and she eats it up.

Rebecca has had a bad end to her school year, and with her future hanging in the balance, she decides to go back to a place where she felt comfort and peace, while she tries to work out how best to deal with what lies ahead.

Miller feels like something is missing in his life. So when his mom puts him in touch with an old high school buddy and the chance to be a camp counselor for the summer, Miller decides to go with it. I mean, how tough can it be?

As Miller works his way through learning the ropes of Summer Camp, he also has to deal with his insta-attraction to Rebecca and her big walls with barbed wire she has up around her, but as they navigate their responsibilities, and eventually allow each other into their confidences, something special grows...

I absolutely LOVED Miller's personality, and his dedication. While he obviously has no idea what he's doing, he doesn't give up but rather pushes forward one trial at a time, and learns to roll with the punches. I adored how he let Rebecca feel safe, and how this allowed her to truly consider what SHE wanted, and gave her the confidence to allow herself to move forward with strength of will.

I loved the aspect of the summer camp, and how the kids and their (Miller and Rebecca's) experiences as counselors allowed them to grow as people.

A totally fabulous read that has me hooked on Kate Campfield and looking forward to reading more of her work.

This was a lot of fun.
Becca has had a rough second year of med school, and she has to repeat it. She decides to spend the summer as a camp counselor at Camp Winnie, where she doesn't feel like such a failure.
Miller plays poker for a living, but he's been feeling stagnant lately. So he takes his friend up on an offer to be a camp counselor for the summer, even though he has absolutely no idea what he's doing.
They meet at the camp, and Becca doesn't like Miller immediately. He just seems like a good time guy who doesn't take anything seriously. So Miller makes it his mission to change her mind.
This was terribly funny with plenty of laugh out loud moments, but enough serious life stuff to round it out. Miller is a bit of a prankster, always wanting to make people laugh. But he's really sweet and intuitive once you get past the facade. Becca is very self-conscious, and stressed about school and life in general. But she starts to see the heart beneath Miller's funny guy routine, and he helps her to see the bright side a bit.
If you've read any of this series, you'll recognize Miller's friends, and they have plenty of input on his plan to win Becca over. Their text chats are hilarious! Add in a goat with a penchant for eating Miller's shirts (he hates that goat), and a bunch of kids just being kids, and this was really enjoyable. I can't wait for the next one!

Miller is looking for something more in life with his bestfriends moving onto new stages of their life like Maddox getting married and a baby on the way. Cam is getting married and Miller feels stagnant. So he asks his mom for advice and she says what about being a camp counselor for the summer? Miller doesn't know the first thing about being a camp counselor BUT he isn't one to back away from a challenge.

Becca just got her med term finals back and she failed 2 classes thus stalling her from going into her 3rd year of college as a med student. She's stressed, anxiety ridden and needs to go where she feels happiest. Enter Camp Winnie where she spent most of her childhood and then became a camp counselor. Who is Becca assigned to? No one other then Miller and she HATES Miller. But I guess when a text message conversation starts off with "what color underwear are you wearing?" It might make things a little rocky....

Miller does everything in his power to be right next to Becca. He does first aid training, swim training, eating with her in mess hall, EVERYTHING. Will he win her over, or will her hate only grow deeper?

This is the third book in this series in which we meet Becca and Miller. Rebecca is devastated when she finally knows that she has failed her second year medical training year. She realises how her father is going to be so disappointed in her, but can she put it off just while she comes to terms with it, it's what she's wanted to do and know she'll have to repeat the whole year. But then she comes up an idea where has she always felt herself, where can she just be Becca and not be judged Camp Winnie. Can she just go and be a counsellor for the summer and face reality at the end of it. Miller feels lost all his friends seem to be in relationships and grown up. But he's still the fun friend always the life and soul of the party. But he needs a change, he needs to workout where he actually fits. Then he thinks about his old college roommate, then his mom mentions he should go and spend the summer working at his friend's camp. Seriously him working with kids when he's a kid himself. When he finally arranges it he second guesses everything he's advised having never camped he's no idea. This is the start of a hapdash adventure which could change both their lives. If you love a funny a laugh out loud story with countless twists and turns this is certainly the book you want. I can't recommend Kate's books enough she just has a way to draw you into the story and keep to reading

This is the story of Rebecca (Becca) and Miller. Miller is a professional poker player who is looking for a change in is life. Becca is a med student who just failed a course and has to redo her second year of studies. Both of them accept a counselor job at a summer camp. Miller is this cocky, popular guy and Becca is the complete opposite. She is anxious, quiet and hates attention. Miller discover quickly that what he needs in his life is Becca and go on a mission to get Becca to like him.

This is my new cute comfort book 🧡 No drama, I smiled, I laughed with the evil goat 😭 and Miller mom? She’s HILARIOUS. I really loved the character’s diversity in this story. I adore the author’s writing, easy to follow and engaging. I became invested in the plot and the characters from the very beginning.

I recommend this book to anyone who love a slow burn romance with a man who puts his woman first 🧡

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It was reminiscent of an easier times with going to summer camp and living your best life. Rebecca, Becs to Miller, is a perfectionist with lots of inner turmoil trying to be the perfect child. Her decision to go to camp to be a counselor again is one that sets her on a path of discovering that she can make it at whatever she chooses and that not being perfect might be ok. She has serious animosity towards Miller but is it because she doesn’t like him, or does she like him a little to too much?

Miller is looking for more, he’s not sure what that “more”’is but finds himself pushing 30 without knowing if he is on the right path. Poker might be his career but is it what he wants to do forever? A shot at being a counselor at an old high school friend’s camp is just the chance to try to do something else. Will he make it the whole summer or will he lose his bet with Brett, the friend in charge of the camp? He finds more than he bargained for when he falls, at first sight, for Becca who wants Nothing to do with him. Will he make it through camp, get Becca’s to figure out she actually likes him, and find his future all in one summer? You definitely want to read this one and find out!

This book is recommended for the fans of romantic comedies. And also if you can relate to that period of life, a few years after college, where you miss your younger self, and at the same time is feeling a bit lost about what to do with the rest of it. Because that's where you'll connect with Becca and Miller.

Becca feels like she is failing med school and her parents expectations, so she decides to go back to be a camp counselor for the summer. Miller can't say he is going back to camp, because he isn't outdoorsy at all, but also signs up to be a counselor, while feeling lost in his everyday life.

For him, is love at first sight, but not for her. He has to prove himself and works hard on that. Both characters go through a journey to their HEA, in a slow burn, but deep connection way.

The author also did a great job with side characters and showing Down syndrome representation.

I'm loving the series and I think this is my favorite until now.

Miller who is a professional poker player feels like his life is at a point that he is needing something different so he ends up find a part time job as a camp counselor. Becca is a medical student who needs an escape from her hectic life and ends up at the same camp as Miller as a counselor. They talk before they get to the camp and once camp starts up Miller realizes that Becca is not his biggest fan.

Once Miller realizes he's not Becca biggest fan, he tries to win her over but Becca is not easy to give in and it takes awhilllllllle for Miller to win her over. It was a really cute story with lots of laughs.

This was for sure a slow burn, very very slow burn. Also I know the whole poker thing but the lingo and the amount that it was used, threw me off at times and the ending just felt super rushed and unfinished in a way. Overall it was a cute book.

I really enjoyed Miller's character. He came off as a genuinely good and caring guy who is a light to those around him. I liked his relationship with his friends and family, and especially loved how close he was with his mom.

Becca is (nicely put) kind of annoying lol. She is the grumpy of the grumpy sunshine. I was set off by her immediate annoyance with Miller. She seemed to just take everything out on him when all he wanted was to get to know her. However, I loved Miller's persistence towards her because I came to love Becca's character growth and thoughts towards him once she realized she was wrong about him.

It's definitely slow burn but has good banter. I thoroughly enjoyed the two finding themselves again through each other...very sweet. I didn't love that the ending seemed rushed, though.

The third book in the series brings back all your favorite characters but focuses on Miller as he realizes something is fundamentally missing from his life. While trying to figure out what's off, he's given the option to spend the summer as a camp counselor at Camp Winnie. This is also where Becca decides to escape after struggling in med school. Camp Winnie, a place filled with childhood memories, remains one of her few happy places.

Miller and Becca initially connect over text, but she immediately dislikes him. Known for his humor, pranks, and never taking anything seriously, Miller has created this persona with purpose. When they finally meet at camp, Miller tries his hardest to win her over. Can he succeed? Will he uncover what Becca is running from?

To find out, you'll need to read this slow-burn romance. It has everything: humor, friendship, camp stories, amazing side characters, and understanding parents. I've loved every book in this series, and this one is no exception. Watching Miller's character grow was a highlight, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

How much I felt in tune with this and with Miller and Rebecca perhaps more so with Becca especially for her experience. I'll say that when I finished reading it I wanted to start reading it again and I definitely want to read the first ones in the series. This book deals with a topic that few people deal with and that is when you feel at the turning point and you don't know what to do with your life and with everything else. The beauty of Becca and Miller is that they are both lost for different reasons and both experience the camp as a way to stop but also to find the right path again. It's a slow, very slow burn romance but I loved every second of their story. I loved Miller who falls in love first and searches in every way for the key to open his heart even if their connection is obvious... For him it's love at first sight, but not for her.. It will be a difficult journey towards their HEA but one that truly deserves to travel and live it.... The author has created a universe with secondary characters such as poker buddies and Miller's mother who made me laugh really hard and I also appreciated how she outlined Down syndrome. I forgot a goat will steal your heart. Vote ? 4.5 ⭐

Rebecca is in med school and under a lot of pressure trying to live up to her family standards/legacy. When things blow up she retreats to the place she loves. A place that calms her. Camp Winnie.

Miller is a poker player. Having an urge for more, he’s looking for a change. Something different. So he decides to help a friend, which leads to a bet, which brings him to Camp Winnie.

Rebecca and Miller are camp counselors and get off on the wrong foot; but he isn’t deterred. Miller brings a lot of light and joy to this book. He’s so kind, funny and easy going. I felt he was the perfect match for Rebecca and brought a calmness to her. Really loved his relationship with him mom too. It’s a big plus.

Calling Your Bluff is an enemies to lovers slow burn, that’s sweet and genuine. It’s part of a series but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. But it did make me want to pick up the other books!
