This book has a number of errors in it, but looking past that, the story was pretty much. It was less dark than the second one, thankfully. It still had quite a number of smex scenes, and I just skimmed / skipped over most of them as I just wanted to continue on with the plot.
The conclusion to deal with the demon was a pretty interesting one. I had thought about DNF-ing the series a few times in the last book, but was determined to keep going to see how this ended.
Something I give the author credit for is her characters. She gives them unique personalities, for the most part. They each have their own (tragic) back stories that were a part of getting them to where they were and that also connected them to each other a bit more. They all had something in common, particularly with Ana. I found that their stories and growth were well written.
I don't think this series is one I'll recommend to people, necessarily, at least without warning that it's a bit dark and the writing could use improvement, but it was still a decent story overall.
I swear this chick gets more childish and dumb every book 🤦♀️
The description of this book on Goodreads is a perfect summary - poor grammar, no context and nothing of interest.
Also, I’m all for steamy scenes but it felt like legit 50% of this was just sex scenes.
Another 30% was her whining about her love interests upsetting her and taking everything SO personally, or acting the complete opposite way an ambassador should (heck she takes important meetings where the people help her even though they don’t need to and she doesn’t even thank them!!)
The remaining 20% could be argued as story. Not good story, but story.
I don’t know why choices were made between book 1 and this… but this was bad. And painfully difficult to get through.
Excellent Conclusion!! Book 3 didn't disappoint! I was hooked from the beginning!
It was filled with danger, action, suspense, lots of emotional moments and no shortage of spice!
Ana and her guys go through quite the roller-coaster in this book. The twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat at times. We see their relationships deepen and the love and devotion they have for each. The steamy scenes were so hot!!! Off the charts!!🥵 Most importantly the author gives Ana and her men a satisfying and happy ending!
This book needed to be proofread and checked before it was published. There are spelling errors and the author messed up her character's name way too many times in this book. I had to go back and reread the paragraph to make sure I had the right POV.
Wow, this book was an amazing read that I really enjoyed reading and could not put down. The pace that it moves along at is perfect for the flow of the story, it has really great characters and the story will not disappoint you. This book is a must read, there is no doubt about it.
The smut got a little repetitive and I wish the author had focused more on plot and world building. I feel like the final important scene happened a little too quickly and neatly. Overall I really liked it and I plan to read the other related series
I have bing read this trilogy and have really enjoyed the character development over time. I am also intrigued by the characters from a previous series and look forward to more books by this author.
What a series one of her men has been taken over by a demon then she's told she is the only one who can kill the demon but first she has to stab her love
