I give a 3…. There were some good spots so I did up to a 4, it was the main story/beginning that I thought was a 4, what she went through and the emotion around the initial story line. The story between the new story/connection was sweet but a little rough and felt rushed in some parts and kind of swirled in others. So it had some interesting twists….

This book....I dont even know where to begin. First off the rollercoaster of emotions it took me through was unlike any other. The writing was so well done and the storyline and backgrounds of each character were so well thought out and processed. I was so blown away by this story! From page one I was captivated and devoured the book in about 2 hours. I can tell just by reading this book that so much thought and time were poured into this story. The ending had my heart breaking and left me wanting more. All you can do is hope for the best throughout the entire story. If I could more than a five star review I would in a heartbeat! I love it and it is definetely a new favorite! This book is perfect if your wanting dark chaos with romance and drama and an unhappy ending with a touch of spice!

For me this book was about a 3.5-3.75 rating.
Umm… I think my copy had some pages missing because there is no way my heart was just ripped out of me like!!!
I am kind of at a loss on how to explain this one. It was such an easy read and flowed so well! I couldn’t put it down and had me reading late into the night.
The characters were very well thought out and their pasts, it was so easy to follow.
There are some questions I was hoping were going to be answered but… second book? Maybe? Do I just have to come up with my own interpretation of certain events? Who knows 😉

Wow! The twists and turns in this book left me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Jade went through so much in this book, and I can't wait to see her growth in book 2! I loved Roman! I wasn't sure about him at first, but he grew on me as the story went. That ending, my lord, I didn't see that coming! 💔 The suspense, the romance, all of it was so good!

The emotions that you have through this book is all over. First your sad then you pissed, then you want to throw something, your happy. This book left me wanting so much more. This book reminds me that you don’t trust NOBODY no matter who they are to you. I can’t wait to read the second book

This book is beautifully written and has a little bit of everything!…mystery, romance, & just a hint of spice to make you not able to out it down! Take the ride with Jade & Roman, you won’t regret it! This was my favorite read of January!

Like I’ve said before, I am a total cover snob. And this one is absolutely gorgeous! It’s like a piece of art! If the cover alone isn’t enough to sell you on it, this review should!
I absolutely devoured this book. Add all of my favorites, romance, thriller, and plot twist that will about break your neck.
The MCs Roman and Jade, oh my gosh… Roman, that man loves with his whole soul. He is absolutely book boyfriend material. They are total couple goals! The character development and the plot flowed seamlessly.
Talk about a roller coaster of emotions, highs and lows, twist and turns. Hope, heartbreak, anger, excitement, and a touch of spice. Hannah France did a fantastic job. I was all over the place not knowing where it was gonna go next. Incredible suspenseful, page turner, I could not get enough of this book. The ending, though what in the world… My jaw was literally on the floor! I kept flipping the page back and forth hoping more would magically show up. I did go straight to Instagram and seen that she was writing, so, I pray it’s book two. I have to know!?

First of all, I’d like to say thank you to Hannah France for an absolutely amazing book.
I connected with her over on BookTok, and she is incredibly kind. I loved having the opportunity to read her book, and I fully enjoyed it.
I am very disdained about the ending, however. I was shocked to see where the ending lead, and I’m pretty riled up emotionally over it, but the rest of the book was fabulous.
I gave this book 4 stars because it had an amazing storyline, characters, and twisty plot.
However, I do agree with some of the other reviews for this book stating that there could have been more concise supporting-details of the plot as opposed to having the lovey parts rushed-through and the storyline fall through at certain points. This doesn’t mean it wasn’t still an amazing read, though, just some suggestions for future releases.

Either way, it wasn’t a bad thing, but I am wondering about it still.

Hannah France did an excellent job with this one. I cannot wait until book two comes out.
The Editor's Choice was packed with suspense, romance, well written surprises and darkness.
The beginning of the book was fantastic. I never would've expected things to turn out the way that they did. I was wanting more immediately.
I dont think I liked Jade and Roman's quickness in their relationship. It was love at first sight and that just doesn't really hit for me, but I did enjoy Roman's protectiveness towards the end.
THE END however, killed me. I think France forgot some pages at the end because I sat there like what the heck where's the rest.
She needs to come up with book two as soon as possible!

My first book by Hannah France and it was really good!
It was a relatively quick read for me, finished it in a few hours. I loved the pace and the storyline of it, and it did keep me captivated from beginning to end. I loved the dynamic between Jade and Rowan, but did feel like they jumped into their relationship relatively quickly. It made more sense as the book carried on why their relationship moved fast. It was a rollercoaster from beginning to end and that ENDING?! That ending left my jaw on the floor. I NEED book 2 to come out ASAP!!!

an intense, suspenseful ride
This book is a roller coaster of emotions! This is a murder mystery and I had no idea where this was going to go. There’s a lot of twists, this book is a huge page turner.
I really loved it. I definitely got emotional. This is a slow burn with a strong fmc and a morally grey mmc.
"A word of warning, darling. This is a game you don't truly want to get involved in. I'm not a man you should want to be with.”
Will be reading more from this author and I can’t wait for the next book!

This book had me all over emotionally, the whole time and then in shock at the ending. The book flowed very well and had multiple plot twists. This was a great debut novel and I need book 2 now!

Got this book as a giveaway and really wanted to like it but I just wasn't getting it. It definitely had good parts but there were times I was confused how the story got from one place to another. Also didn't feel the characters were very well developed and didn't feel connected to any of them really. Seems like others liked it so may just not have been my jam.

Great debut novel. A page turner from page one. The characters led me through all the emotions from anger to hope to heartbreak with some spice thrown in for good measure. And the plot twists are bound to keep you on your toes till the very last page. Loved this book! Can’t wait for the next one.

This book was so good! The plot, the character development, and the twists were amazing. Romans immediate protectiveness of Jade had me hooked. I love the over protective book boyfriends. I can’t believe how it ended though! I need book 2 immediately!

Unique concept, and very interesting character development and story building! I always appreciate moral grey characters and this book definitely nails them in all the right ways! This book was well written and easy to devour, but never boring!

This book had me gasping and biting my nails. The betrayal was so much and the mfc is such a baddie! Recommend all day. This is going to go on the list of books that I constantly recommend to people.

Wow this books speeds along like a F1 Grand Prix!! Absolutely brilliant writing, the characters pop out from the page and I truly couldn’t put this down. Now waiting for the next one.

It started off really good. I was hooked. Then about halfway in the story lost me. I kept hoping it was gonna pull together for a great ending but no, it fell flat.

First off, I am super thankful to have been given an advance reader copy of this book. I was initially drawn to the storyline as it felt different, and I wanted different. It did not disappoint in this regard. The Editor's Choice was a nice little break from my normal fantasy reads. It is a good first book, in my opinion. It has a good plot with strong characters, a few twists, and turns to keep you invested and a sprinkling of spice. There were some inconsistencies, and I was not a fan of all the cursing, but that's just me. All in all, I give it 3.75 stars and look forward to reading more of Hannah's work.

This book was such a wild ride! Don't let the pretty cover fool you. While there is definitely some romance in this book, with a touch of spice, the suspense and mystery is what propels this story forward and kept me engaged.
This book has a strong plot with complex characters and twists that literally had me gasp out loud. This story had me on a rollercoaster of emotions and things happening that I never expected.
And the ending of this book was absolutely shocking! I totally didn't see it coming!

First off can I just say Hannah France had me hooked !There is betrayal of many kinds in this story. There is mystery and even a love story. Dare I even say some self reflection of how far would you go for the one you love?! Can’t forget there is also spice in there. There are lots of risk at state , but is it worth it?I will let you decide that!
