At the beginning this reminded me a little of a couple of this author's books, but then she took that "left turn at Albuquerque" and I didn't know what to expect. Twists and turns just kept coming and I was so tempted to skip ahead for a bit to see how a scene played out. But I decided to stick with the intrigue and suspense and just enjoy the story as it unfolded. Another brilliant book from Bambi Harris that I will read and read again, many times over.
