Bambi Harris has done it again! Get ready for a whole new world of ancient mythology and deities! Bambi creates a spectacular world of wonder beyond our imagination, and we are brought along with the characters on a spectacular adventure. With pregnant women disappearing and young, healthy men mysteriously dying, our heroine, Juniper Gray, is faced with an important mission with great responsibility. There are many surprises along the way, and readers will fall in love with Juniper and her friends as events unfold. A wonderful first installment in an equally wonderful new series!

At the beginning this reminded me a little of a couple of this author's books, but then she took that "left turn at Albuquerque" and I didn't know what to expect. Twists and turns just kept coming and I was so tempted to skip ahead for a bit to see how a scene played out. But I decided to stick with the intrigue and suspense and just enjoy the story as it unfolded.
Another brilliant book from Bambi Harris that I will read and read again, many times over.
