Tear up the rink with your favorite ponies in this standalone My Little Pony comic adventure! Lace up your skates, everypony, we’re heading to the Kenbucky Roller Derby! After getting rejected from the local roller derby team, Sunny sets out to form her own team. Thanks to self-appointed team manager Pipp and her ClipTrot sleuthing skills, they find the perfect pony to join Tracy Tailspin, retired derby legend! But they’ll need more skaters if they want to win the Kenbucky Derby, the toughest championship in Equestria. Sunny holds tryouts for all the other creatures who are either too mean, too scary, too uncoordinated, or...the Pegasnails, who are all heart but no limbs. Can the newly formed Maretime Bay Brawlers battle their way through the competition to take home the trophy? Or has Sunny just signed her friends up for rink rash and disappointment? Exploring themes of trust, learning how to be a good competitor, and having faith in your friends' skills, this miniseries whips the Mane 5 on their silliest, most hilarious adventure yet! This book collects My Little Kenbucky Roller Derby #1-5.

A fun standalone adventure featuring ponified roller derby and the Make Your Mark cast. Sunny dreams of joining a roller derby team, but after being rejected by the Sandy Shore Slammers, a team that is mean, unhelpful, and overly competitive, she sets out to make her own derby team. Together with her friends, she prepares to compete in the Kenbucky Roller Derby to show the Slammers what roller derby and healthy competition are all about.
A nice story with plenty of humor. I really enjoyed the pony version of roller derby. Also, Izzy's Garbage and Gargoyles campaigns look like so much fun.
Nice artwork. The change in art style and writing style in issue #3 threw me a little, but overall it was a nice continuous story.
Focuses on themes of friendship, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. The story nicely captures the supportive nature of the roller derby community, showing teams helping each other and rooting for one another while engaging in healthy competition.
