The title says Real Madrid, but don’t be fooled—this book is really about the bigger picture: modern football, its financial fractures, its intensity, and why the Super League argument even exists. Yes, Madrid is in there, but much of it is economics, history, and the quiet crisis fans rarely see. Injuries piling up, squads stretched, money bleeding, Saudi Arabia rising—it’s all part of the same storm. For me, someone who lives in the world of finance and economics, I actually enjoyed this angle. Misleading title? Probably. Valuable insight? Definitely.
