Great first novel!

I absolutely love finding brand new authors who really know how to tell a story! I could tell this was going to be a good one by the end of the first chapter. Interesting story, likable characters, a good balance of "showing" vs "telling," great banter, and lots of laugh out moments to balance out the darker elements. Its an instalove, but has an almost "fated" element to it that makes it even cuter. Luca is quite the caveman with Gemma, and there's no limit to what he'll do to get her, keep her, and protect her ❤. I'm super invested in all these characters and can't wait to read their stories as well ❤.

Can’t wait to see what comes next 🖤
What a fun book! I think this is my first mafia romance. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Luca is extremely possessive. In the prologue you get a good sense of him and how he feels about Gemma. ‘Where’s my wife?!’ 🔥 He’s a walking red flag but I loved him so much! Gemma, my girl! I loved her so much too. She was a sweet and innocent baby but she’s wasn’t an idiot. As she became apart of the family I loved seeing her strength and the commanding personality come out. She was great. I love that she found a loving family in the most unlikely group.
The secondary characters were great too. Adele aka Ma was my favorite! Love love love her.

The Prince by Amber Allee is the First book in the Las Vegas Mafia Series. This is the story of Luca Falcone and Gemma Barone. Luca is taken with Gemma from their first meet. Gemma is a women working to move forward from her past and has come so far. Luca is a dangerous man who hasn't fully disclosed this to Gemma. I enjoyed this book and can't wait for more in this series.

As a debut novel there was much about this book that had a familiar feel, much about the storyline that had a "been there, done that" vibe. The beginning part felt especially cookie cutter-ish, but with each turn of the page the author gained confidence. While the early chapters felt a bit rough around the edges, the later chapters felt more polished and definitely pulled me in wholeheartedly. By The End, I was left breathless from all the twists and turns permeating the world this couple existed in.
Gemma and Luca are opposites in many ways, but their time growing up was rocky for both of them. For Gemma Barone the hardships and heartaches only made her stronger, made her unwilling to back down when her relationship with Luca hit some roadblocks. She's the kind of heroine you look up to and root for throughout the story to reach her richly deserved HEA.
Luca Falcone was born into the Mafia world and from an early age saw things that a young boy shouldn't see. Being born into a world of blood, bullets, and secrets has hardened him throughout the years and it's all something he wants to keep secret from Gemma the moment they meet. This duo crackled from the very start and steamed up the pages in scorching encounters. Though Luca tried to keep the truth about himself private, his secrets and his past soon caught up to him and Gemma, and put both of them in danger. From that moment on there's twists and turns, entanglements coming from every direction and cleverly woven into the story by Ms. Allee. Throughout the story, Luca's a sexy beast! He's also weighed down by all the secrets that make up his life and they've given him a raw edge. He has a dark nature, is a bit obsessive early on with Gemma, but I was still drawn to him and the moments of tenderness and sweetness occasionally on display amidst the steam.
On a whole, this was an entertaining tale. Though it was fueled by a familiar storyline, it kept me glued to all the action happening both in and out of the bedroom. This was a formidable pairing and I look forward to where life takes them next. Alongside this memorable main couple was an equally entertaining cast of secondary characters. Of this secondary cast, it's Luca's mother that was a standout for me. She was larger than life, bold and brash, and a strong role model for Luca on how to survive in their world. Though this is Ms. Allee's debut novel, it definitely won't be her last, and it's with bated breath that I start the countdown to when we get to revisit this gritty and suspenseful world!

While I took my time, the story is still fast paced. Allee did a fantastic job on her debut novel. I’m excited to see where she takes not only the series but also all the characters she has introduced so far.

The premise for this story was sound, and I was hooked by the beginning of the story, but I found in the first half, it dragged a bit, and I lost interest at times. However, in the second half, it was back to full throttle, and I loved it! I also must state that as a debut book, I was impressed by the way the author did grab my attention again so thoroughly.
I enjoyed the lead characters together and found their chemistry explosive. I really enjoyed how Gemma stood up for herself when her life imploded and didn’t back down readily; it showed how far she’d come as a young woman, and it was more realistic. I was cheering her on the whole time. 😀
Special mention must go to Luca’s mother, Adele, who was a powerhouse and such a fabulous character. Her demand for respect and how she became a spitfire when angry were superb. All mafia bosses need an Adele!
There were quite a few issues in the story that ended up being entangled together and very cleverly, too. The graphic scenes weren’t too detailed but, at the same time, didn’t shy away from specifics.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

So many times through this book did I yell and gasp at the twists and turns and development of their relationship. When Gemma is finally confronted with the truth she has to make the decision to stay or run far away from this deceptive prince. The Prince was so utterly bingeable and enjoyable! It’s been awhile since I’ve read a mafia romance and I could not put it down. Luca is the son of one of Vegas’ five mafia families and wants out to pursue the woman he loves. Yes, he’s over the top and obsessed-but Gemma falls for him anyway. Gemma has had a lot of tragedy in her life and is a college student just trying to make a difference. Their life together isn’t as private as it seems - and now danger lurks around every corner. Plus, they’ll need to work past some pretty hefty secrets Luca has been hiding from Gemma… If you love an over the top hero who is definitely morally grey, this new series is for you!

Wow! If you are a fan of spicy and intense storylines, this IS the book for you!! Luca and Gemma draw you in from the very start of the story. I found myself not wanting to put my Kindle down because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I took off one star only because the intimate scenes in the story were a little too much for me at times. I may be a little prudish though because I know that is a very popular writing style that most enjoy. Overall, Amber did an amazing job writing this book! I can’t wait to see what the next mafia family has in store for us!!

We enjoyed the story Gemma and Luca were characters that were easy to love and had explosive chemistry together. We loved their fire and passion. Their chemistry is off the charts. Steamy!
We loved Gemma and Luca as a couple unfortunately it is impossible to outrun your pasts. The story took some twists and turns and was engaging enough to keep us glued to the pages. The cast of characters was great especially Adelle we just loved her.
This was a brand-new author for us and we enjoyed this debut novel. Love mafia romances can't get enough of them with their dark and dangerous characters.

What an incredible book! While this isn’t my first mafia romance, I’m absolutely obsessed with it. Luca, the male main character, is fiercely possessive, and the prologue gives you a clear glimpse into his feelings for Gemma. He’s a total walking red flag, but I couldn’t help loving him! And Gemma—what a gem! She’s sweet and innocent but far from naive. As she became part of the family, I loved watching her strength and commanding personality shine through. She was fantastic, and it was heartwarming to see her find love and belonging in such an unexpected group. I definitely recommend this book.

This was my first read from the author and it's so so good! This was a great story and completely hooked me in! You had me a mafia romance but you kept me at he falls first!
I loved the main characters in the story, Luca and Gemma have explosive chemistry that you can just feel coming off the pages. I definitely couldn’t put it down until the end!

This was a good debut book. So mafia romance. I’m 50/50 on these type of books because I have a hard time suspending reality in the real world to account for things that would have been normal in those types of families. Luca’s stalker tendencies were hard to get past but when he gets with Gemma their chemistry is off the charts so I forgave him and then he f-ed up again and I wasn’t happy with how quickly she forgave him. I liked the two mom figures a lot and his sister and will definitely read the follow up.

A intense page turner that I couldn’t put down. Luca belongs to a very dangerous family. He has seen a lot and done a lot. Bad, ugly things that he can never unsee. Gemma had a tough few years but that’s behind her. She is heading in a great direction and is ready for her future. When Gemma meets Luca she is swept off her feet. He is charming, generous and a dream come true. Luca is totally smitten with Gemma, some might even say obsessed. But he doesn’t show her his dark side, that’s his secret…at first. This book was sooo good. It was dark, intense but oh so sweet. You literally felt the love he had for her through the pages. All the characters literally came alive on these pages. I mean All the characters, I was Intrigued by the side characters as much as Luca and Gemma. This well layered book had me hooked from page one until the very end. This was a quick paced read that I didn’t want to stop reading. This was my first time reading this author and I will definitely be reading more.

I enjoyed this! There were some things that could’ve been worded better and some details that felt unnecessary but overall the story is great.
Stalker vibes, he falls first, touch her and 💀, mafia family, trust and betrayal. There were twist and turns that had my jaw dropped and the ending shook me for a minute. I love the dynamic between the mother figures and Gemma and Luca. Gemma is so strong and backs down from nothing. 💪🏻

Great book the whole mafia possessive mc its everything. We go to meet Luca and Gemma in this book. Luca is protective over his belongings and that includes Gemma. That was so good. Who doesn’t loved an unhinged red flag. Sign me up. Gemma was a great contrast to Luca in the book she creates a great balance for his craziness. The supporting cast of character were also great this will be an amazing series. I can’t wait for more from Amber.

Chaos, drama, possession, and mafia all in one book is always a good story. It was an exciting read in all aspects. You can never go wrong with a story like this.
You will have Luca and Gemma who cross each other’s paths. Not only is Luca so charming, he swoops Gemma off her feet in the most possessive way. Gemma such an angel, was yet strong and outgoing. These two had banter and chemistry. Not to mention the way Luca was with her.

Luca and Gemma are everything!! I freaking loved how totally obsessed Luca is with Gemma and how this man would literally do anything for her but the past never stays in the past and when his catches up with him he is willing to do anything to protect Gemma even if it means stepping back into the fire. These two are intense this story is intense and I loved every minute of it.

The Prince: Falcone Family is the debut book by Amber Allee and the first book in her Las Vegas Mafia series. I loved reading and following Luca and Gemma mafia romance. Once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves this genre of romance books and look forward to book two.

This was one of the best books I've read this summer! I can't believe this was a debut novel! It held my interest throughout. I loved both of the main characters, especially the female because she was strong but also very fragile. The storyline also had enough twists and turns to hold my interest for the entire story. I can't wait to start the next book in the series!

This is book 1 in the series but can be read as a standalone. This book kept my attention from start to finish. The information that is given in the prologue really sets the stage for the rest of the book. Luca and Gemma’s story is well written and spicy. Luca is a delicious possessive male that does not play with what is his. If you enjoy mafia romance books, then this is a must.

I really enjoyed Luca and Gemma's story. They were in their bubble until his past catches up from him. I loved how strong she was. I also loved how clumsy she was. This book had me n edge, especially towards the end. Definently recommend!

Oooh Luca screwed up big time!!! lol. It was a good think he was such a sweet talker and really genuinely loved her. Otherwise I don’t think she would have dealt with it the way she did. First time reading this author and I will gladly read again

This is now one of my top five favorite reads. Nothing dragged on too long but there was a lot of fun going on that keeps you on your toes. And the spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵🥵. So glad I decided to try this book out!

This book was fabulous! I wasn’t sure as I had not read a mafia book before but I wasn’t sure pleasantly surprised. The plot was good, I loved and hated the characters at times but I wasn’t sure pleasantly invested to the end. Great first book Amber! On to the 2nd
