Collin Anderson hides behind a façade, pretending everything is fine. Her workaholic wife and best friend are both oblivious as she goes on an emotional journey, battling a potentially hereditary disease that her mother has been diagnosed with. The only person who knows what is really going on, is Collin's doctor. The same doctor, who is an acquaintance that she's always been attracted to, and who has a partner of her own.

I'm a big fan of Sydney Canyon's work, and this book is one of her best ones. It actually makes you reevaluate your own life, how you'd deal with certain situations. The way the characters do in this novel is brutal, honest and very realistic. The book is a rollercoaster of emotions - highly recommended.
