A Vivid and Unforgettable Hell

The opening scene took long enough that I found myself wishing it would hurry, but it ultimately made sense because it set everything up. The depiction of hell was incredibly vivid and destructive, with constant reminders of everything you did while living, the bad choices, the desires, and anything that still had an emotional hold on you. It made me reflect on my own sins and never want to experience a place of that kind of constant torture. I loved April so much in this one. I was not expecting that ending at all, and it completely hooked me.

This is the 4th book in The Rogue Exorcist Series. It was a fantastic read that I demolished over a few days. This author literally grips you in a hold and doesn't let go till the final word. Every book I read by this author has the same effect.

We find Mo at the beginning of the story locked up in the church prison for his sins against the church due to helping Olivia out previously, who was the daughter of the anti-christ. At the time, he was under her influence, but now he is suffering for it. Mo is falling into a deep depression. He has no hope because he nearly unleashed Hell into our world.

Due to the upcoming apocalypse, the church has decided to bring Mo back and hopefully save the Sensitives, especially April. He is in his own personal hell currently being broken physically and mentally. He then has to go to Hell and face 6 trials. Will he be able to succeed? Will he be able to save the world?

This book has some gruesome bits but not the usual amount I expect from the author.

If you haven't read this author before, you are missing a brilliant read. I'm always saddened once I finish his story. Currently, I'm now impatiently waiting for the next book in this series.

Bloody hell, I didn't expect that ending, tut, tut, can't believe it. A cracking read I loved it ❤❤❤❤

The cycle seems never ending for the Sensitives. For every person possessed that they help another demon crops up to try and take a soul. I guess that is what makes them special. They never give up. Mo ended up in a bad place, literally. Wherever the Vatican had placed him he could not tell because he had no reference of time. Being placed in solitary must have been a nightmare. I am not a person who likes to be around others but the way Mo was living sounded like torture to me. He had nothing to keep him from going crazy and he definitely had time to reflect on what he had done. The author did an outstanding job of describing just how Mo had become affected by his incarceration. Even when he had to take on all the levels of hell Mo was able to keep calm as to find out how to move on and find April. The author’s extensive knowledge about the levels of hell made this story so informative so much so that if I knew this information beforehand, I might not take on the saving of the world. This adventure had to much pressure involved. I was glad to read about this journey not be the one in charge of saving the world.

Thrilling!

This is one of the most thrilling novels so far by Rick Wood! Moses has quickly become one of my favorites of his characters. Seeing more background was the cherry on top of a thrilling read. You never knew what was coming next!
