Completely unremarkable book that won't bring anything new for those already familiar with most OP protagonist's stories.

I might be biased on this one, since I was excited for the premise; someone going back to exact revenge and save the person who they cherished the most, yet it fails miserably in creating any sort of interest.

For starters, there aren't fights, most of the time you'll only see MC's show of strength; for which you might make the argument it's fair game since he already was the strongest in his previous attempt at life. Nonetheless, this time, as they themselves admit, they don't have the same armor, weapons, muscularity, and fight the same way they did in the past, however, adapts in a whim, in their first literal battle as if it was nothing.

I don't feel compelled to read on after such display of unoriginal writing, both on the development of the character (indeed, only one, since the others don't seem to have a conscience or any kind of critical thinking themselves and keep on following Adel's lead), and on the premise that the revenge is not a matter of if, but how quickly can they speedrun it.

Unlike a certain other series by the same author, there is actual sword mastery in this one. Since that seems to be the case, I may continue following this series for now.
