The Final Straw?

Navigating time periods on Earth is one thing, but the planet Vanaria presents Megan and Hugh with a new set of challenges. On arrival, they're both thrown into jail. Megan awaiting trial for a capital crime she didn't commit, while Hugh is scheduled to be shipped off to the notorious crystal mines of Galtia. Their only sliver of hope is a centuries-old tradition that promises to test Hugh's abilities to breaking point.

Even if they manage to escape, it's unlikely they'll ever see Dafydd, Karl or Cerys again. But back on Earth, caught in the middle of Owain Glyndwr's rebellion against the newly crowned King Henry IV of England,the three of them have their own problems.

Born and bred in North Wales; after graduating from The University of Leeds with a Mining Engineering degree, I spent the next seven years living and working (often four km underground) in Southern Africa. This was followed by spells living in California and London.

I currently reside in the beautiful state of Colorado, but return to Wales as often as possible to visit family, soak up that indefinable magical atmosphere, and experience the sense of belonging I feel nowhere else – Hiraeth as we say in Welsh.

Proper fish and chips and CAMRA pubs serving real ale are the icing on the bara brith.
