Remember Legacy

Rate this book
Legend.
A whispered name commanding respect from those who serve beside him in the deserts of Afghanistan… and a man they called ‘friend’. The ultimate alpha male, a protector, strategist, and our beloved hero.

A lonely soldier’s story and the sacrifices that were made; this is a tale of growth, loyalty, courage, and honor… and the woman who loved him enough to support his choices.

When bravery has a cost, passion wrestles with duty, and brothers-at-arms band together during moments that would leave scars no one else could ever see or understand…

One spoken word would draw this squad of soldiers together in a bond that was unshakeable.

Logan.

***These standalone sweet, clean romances follow a team of soldiers that were once stationed in Afghanistan, bound by friendship. They can be read alone but if you read them together, their stories are so much richer.

Wow! Loved this one so much! What an absolutely wonderful dedication to the legacy that is Dasher Logan. His & Juliet’s love story will give you all the emotions but hang in there because it is so worth it. Loved the peek behind Logan, Griffin and Houghton’s schemings. So happy to have this story told🤎

I loved this heartbreaking and healing story! I haven't read any of the Healing Hearts books but have loved the previous books of this author's that I just can't pass up the opportunity to read her books. I just need to set everything aside and binge read all of the books that I have of hers that I haven't read yet. I have lots. She's just an amazing author. I love how spot on she is with her characters. I love reading about characters who are flawed but have hope in finding joy and love through the ups and downs that life brings.

Juliet and Dash definitely had those ups and downs. Some of it could have been avoided but they had to learn and grow. I loved how Dash wasn't going to give up on Juliet at the beginning and trying to show her that he was truly a good guy and that he cared about her. Their banter cracked me up so much.

But my heart was so sad for them at several moments as well. Their struggles and the heartache...cue the tears. But watching them grow and be in situations that they were able to help others, until the timing was right, was great. I was patiently waiting for them to find their joy and let their hope live on strong.

I loved these two. I can't wait for long time fans of the Healing Hearts series be able to read this one! I can't wait to dive into the books in that series to discover about the characters that I came to love in this book.

Content: Some innuendo. Some moments between a married couple but it was fade to black. Some very mild language.

I received a copy from the author via Booksirens. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

Good golly this book grabbed me by the heart. Ginny Sterling really let her writing style and heart shine in this outstanding story with characters that I already loved.

Captain Juliet Bradley knew hot pink lipstick was not part of her uniform, but she really did love it. Who would have thought that a tube of lipstick would be a conversation starter between a lady and gentleman? When Staff Sergeant Dash Logan sees Juliet, it was almost love at first sight. Their first meeting was beyond cute. The best part was that she outranked him. I loved this little twist. This did not keep Dash from stating his mind and asking her out.

The love story was sweet and sad at the same time. Something goes wrong along the way, but it was obviously meant to be because Captain Logan ends up where he needs to be even if he is brokenhearted.

Logan's willingness to wear his heart on his sleeve made him so loveable and it explained so much about his true character. This origin story was perfect in every way. I loved seeing how these two ended up together, as they were already characters that I knew and loved. It helped me understand the people they end up becoming later in life. I almost cried a few times because everything was just so real. Just when I think I cannot love another story more in this series, I am once again surprised. This one truly stole my heart. It also deserves every single five star that I gave it, and actually deserves more. This is a true love story for the ages.

Thank you to BookSirens and the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Almost perfect

I really enjoyed getting Dasher and Juliet's story after reading all the rest of this series and flyboys. The only thing was the rank issue. Dasher goes from staff Sargent to captain on a favor boys' father plays. That's not feasible. It's like going from a sophomore in high school to being given a college degree without graduating from high school or applying to college. Could he have gone from lieutenant to captain on a favor, yes. But enlisted to commanding officer? No. Not even with a wartime promotion. It's not going to happen, and it doesn't make sense. Even if an enlisted guy does get accepted into an officer training program and graduated that, he is still going to start as a lieutenant. He wouldn't get to go straight to captain and command. Can we suspend reality for certain things? Sure, but if Dashers family was so into command. They would have practically forced him to go officer from the get go. Bottom line, it didn't fit. Since this is supposed to be an updated version, you'd think that would've been fixed. Did I enjoy the romance? yes. Did I like all the name drops from the rest of the series? Of course! But I would have liked that one thing to be fixed. Absolutely.

You know I will never get tired of saying it but Ginny Sterling just amazes me every time I pick up her book. I swear she can do NO wrong. This book was a little different then her other books for me since there is a misunderstanding. But I didn't expect that so it was like reading something new to me. Dash definitely had me swooning like mad in the beginning of this book. He was just the sweetest thing ever. I absolutely loved his character. He has such a big heart, he's loyal, a great friend and shows honor. He's everything you would want in a man.

Juliet was a fun character. I loved she was an army woman but she loved to put on hot pink lipstick. She has sass, loves with her whole heart and is the type of person you'd want by your side.

Dash and Juliet will have some ups and down but in the end will love conquer all?

This was an amazing story about love, friendship, bonds, and honor. You will laugh, swoon and smile like crazy! I would HIGHLY recommend this book and this series!

Thank you Ginny Sterling for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

I’m so glad we finally got Logan’s story! While this novel can be read as a stand alone, it will mean so much more when you read the stories of the other men on his team first. You will cherish his story more and be smiling the whole way through. I’m glad we got to dive deeper into Juliet, she has been in so many other stories but we never got to see her outside of those settings. Here we deep dive into her life and thoughts and feelings. She is such a strong woman and knows her husband so well. Logan has been the ever present figure throughout the other stories. I’m glad we got to see a new side to him in this story. We have seen glimpses of it every once in a while but in this story we got to see the man behind the mask so to speak. He always was who he needed to be to keep his men safe and in line but he has such a soft heart behind that.
This is a dual pov, closed door romance. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone novel.

This book was the perfect summation of Captain Logan and Juliette’s lives. After reading all the other books that mention them it was the perfect chance to see their entire love story from beginning to end.

Captain Logan is a tender soul and it was great to start with seeing how he met Juliette and then really get to see his character being shaped over all his time in the army. I enjoyed Juliette’s story especially their meeting and dating in the beginning and seeing it from her “side” of their love story. They are a great couple who fit together so perfectly. Although, it came with a lot of work, love, and forgiveness like all love stories require.

If you’ve read all the other books in the series, this is the perfect book to read to see the depth and breadth of Logan and Juliette’s love as well as revisit some of your favorite characters.

How can you possibly feel so many emotions about two people all in one sitting?!? Juliet and Logan have the most amazing start, the most devastating breakup, and the sweetest (and most dramatic) second chance! For a hot minute, during the drama, I wasn’t sure I liked either of them! They needed that one unshiny moment to get to where they needed to be. So many beautiful moments, so many raw moments, that you need to just set aside an afternoon and binge read the whole thing. You will not want to put it down!

Pink lipstick, an elevator, and miscommunication are all ingredients for a great story! In this book, we finally get the origin story of Captain Logan, a character who appears in the Healing Hearts series and the Reserve Ranch and Rescue series.

I think it could be read as a standalone, but probably shouldn't be. If you haven't read any of the books in this series, I highly recommend them!

Wow

Just beautiful. This author always has a way of making you feel so many emotions while reading her books. Her characters are just so human, relatable, and each have their flaws. I've been waiting to read our tough Captain Logan's story. He and Jules are soulmates, they had some bumps in their journey together and even apart but they truly belonged together. Loved them as individual characters and as a couple.🤍

Remember Legacy is a clean, emotional, second chance romance. Jules and Dash have great chemistry, passion and tempers! Dash treats Jules like a special lady from the moment he sees her. Jules has never experienced such an attraction. She outranks him but the story still has a meet cute, love at first sight and a time when everything goes wrong. I should never have doubted Ms. Sterling’s ability to put the pieces back together. She gives the reader the perfect ending to this amazing journey.

Tender and heartwarming addition to the Healing Heart series by Ginny Sterling.
Juliet is a Captain in the Army when she meets Staff Sergeant Dasher Logan. He insists on spending time with her and becoming friends, but admits he wants more.
Disaster hits when a stalker spreads rumors that tears them apart.
Is there any chance for a revival of their love?

I loved this story and read it in a day. It was a bit jumpy at first as I got used to the author's style, but it grew on me. The characters felt real and I really enjoyed reading their story. There could be more included about the people in their lives besides each other, but otherwise it was a really good read. It was sweet and I teared up a few different times. Being a military spouse myself, it especially hit home with me. I recommended it!

oh my gosh

This book was beyond what I remembered about Captain Logan and Juliet. It’s good to finally read their story and it’s such a beautiful story and it could’ve ended tragically with them not seeing each other again, but fate brought them back together in an elevator. That elevator scene was incredible.
Ginny is such a great writer! I always look forward to her books, especially those that are in the series.

Fantastic as always

Ginny Sterling always writes h er stories from the heart. This story shows just how a man treats a lady that he suspects he has fallen in love with at first sight. She takes you some hard and heavy times, but she shows what a truly happy end is in a relationship.

A wonderful finish!

Oh my, what a story between Logan and Juliet! If this was the final book in the Healing Hearts series, it was the best! I am so glad that we finally got to read the complete story! I am sobbing that this series is finished. Ahhh. I am so glad that I can always reread the books again and again!

What happens when you want to date a female whose rank is higher than yours?
What happens when vicious rumors are believed by the parties involved?
Will it ever go back to being a normal relationship ore will you believe the rumors and not listen to the explanations given by the one you love?

It was good to read how Logan's character evolved. Although a Captain, all his men he befriended, watched over and men he lost. This was a fantastic book. The parts I liked was how he met Juliet, she was a Captain and he was a Master Sergeant and when he finally came home. HEA.

I love each and every book on this series. Each book had its own romance. It brought me back over 50 years ago when I had my own pen pal when he was
In Vietnam. He came home and we were engaged 2 weeks after and married 7 months after.

I wasn't sure if I would like this one only because I read it at the end of the series and it happened before all the other books. We already knows Dasher and Juliet get together and even know a bit of their story. But despite that, I loved this book. The added details and emotions took me on a ride I did not expect. I will add that I was furious with both Dash and Jules at one point. Stubborn fools should have actually talked to each other not at each other! But thankfully they got the HEA.

This is Logan's story. Better if read in order but could be a standalone. Characters overlap throughout this series and others. Love almost at first sight but lies tear them apart. Will they get a second chance together or will they find love again with someone else?
