"Girl, if I was you, I'd be plotting every move to reclaim my king." That's the conversation everyone's handing Cynne, but let's be honest, fighting over a man has it’s ups and downs. Especially if he’s not one hundred percent yours.
Larenz, he's still got that fire, that love burning inside, but it's buried deep. His empire, both in the streets and under the hoods of cars, is booming, making him untouchable and his heart, a fortress. Love seems like a luxury he can't afford right now. With a team of females, including the mothers of his kids, all vying for a piece of him, Larenz is playing it cool, guarding what's left of his heart.
Cynne's reality hit hard; her man didn't just move on, he intertwined his life with her fiercest rival, blending their families in a way that's hard to swallow. She knows too well that pain transforms people, sealing off parts of their heart you used to know by heart. She's ready to tread the path of forgiveness, echoing the grace Larenz once showed. Fighting for Larenz's heart is a challenge she's geared up for, but tangling with his other baby mama's chaos? That's testing Cynne's resolve like never before, all while she's on her own journey of self-improvement.
The first book left jaws on the floor with the revelation of Cynne's sudden lock-up. Now, in this sequel, we're diving headfirst into the storm that secret unleashed, proving the aftermath is a hurricane compared to the initial shockwave. Girl, if I was you, I'd be saying, "This is the drama I live for."
If you’re FAN of African American romance, cheating husbands, rich Alpha men and billionaire second chance love stories. This one is for you.
This book right here! I loved it. Secrets are exposed, and the backlash behind them are crazy!
Lexi, lord what she goes through is truly sad. Luckily her daughter, Lucille discovers the truth behind the lies that her grandmother told her her entire life. I knew when Lucille gave Larenz Lexi’s diary, it would soon be a wrap for London and him.
Cynne and Larenz have me torn. I mean Cynne dogged him out and treated him like a fool over Bombay when they were together. Now that she did her 5 year bid and has changed in terms of being a better mom to Lonnie and Lillie, and now sees the love she has for Larenz, he’s physically moved on with her enemy London, but his heart still belongs with Cynne.
In a way, I don’t want Larenz to be with Cynne but now that London’s hand in having Cynne locked up is exposed and the danger she placed Lonnie and Lillie in, I believe it’s a wrap for her.
Larenz is a fault for playing this back and fourth game with Cynne and London and he needed to man up and choose one or the other before all this had happened .
I can’t wait for book 3! What will come now for Larenz and Cynne? What will happen to London after the stunt she pulled with the kids? Will Sheldon become a loose cannon after what he did to Barry’s family? And will Lucille become a problem in Larenz’s life?
Mannn I don't feel a bit of sorry for London. She had to have known that all the mess she had done and continue to do was going to backfire on her! Play dumb games, get dumb prizes! Lovely probablyvthe only thing saving her. Kelly, her mama and Destiny need to go get a life! Steady being in Latenz business. If he forgave Cynne, what that have to do with them. Like Elsa said, "LET IT GO!" These older folks need to stop sweeping things under the rug especially for their own gain! Lexi wasn't as dumb as we thought, but the life she lived came up and fast for her never even getting to truly experience motherhood. Those Haitians came in thinking all was sweet but underestimated Larenz and Vory! That was their downfall! Londyn done took that woman's kids and now she had to see the piper! I'm so glad Lucille found that diary because I couldn't for the life of me figure out how Larenz could read everyone else and not her. Things gone change and hopefully for the better. Cynne is carrying a 3rd seed. I pray she keeps this new version of her to the forefront to get the family she wants and seemingly needs! Ready for part 3! Great read
I liked Cynne and Larenz. I just didn't like the things she did to Jim. Overall, this was a good story, and I can't wait for part 3. Sorry that Cynne's friend died the way she did, but she wasn't really a friend. I need more on her daughter. I hope Larenz's family can get past their hate of Cynne. Who would have thought that Larenz would become the man. Now, for his crazy second baby momma, she has to go that b is crazy. Hurry with part 3. I have to see how this all plays out.
This book is soooo goooddd !! I cried and I laughed !! This book really had its moments ! I can’t wait for part three !! I read both books part 1 &2 over the weekend . This book is a page turner !!🔥🔥 Larenz needs to hurry up and tell Cynne what he found out about London ! I wish Larenz’ family would stay out of his business especially when it comes down to Cynne ! I loved how much Cynne has grown from the first book !! I can’t wait until everything unfolds in the next book !
London… London … LONDON! Baby girl is crazy!! Larenz really had a lot of back & forth going on in this installment! He definitely need to heal and figure out what he wants! I love Cynne’e growth! She’s trying her best but the drama keeps following her! I’m hoping part 3 has the same pace with closure to Larenz and Cynne. London for sure needs to GO! She has caused so much damage. I’m hoping little Lonny talks, too!! Whew! Kia, where’s part 3 Chile?!
I'm so glad I started this series. I felt so much raw emotions while reading this book. I've been laughing and crying throughout since i started the first book. I'm kinda glad it doesn't end here because I want to know what's going to happen to London. And what is next for Cynne will she get her happy ending or will her and Larenz part ways. Hopefully not but we'll see in the next book. Le` sigh
This series is the first I’ve read by this author and I must say this series is GREAT. I to force myself to put the book down and go to sleep. The story flows so well with a lot of twist and turns and keeps your attention. It was good to read how some women are just as ruthless treating a GOOD MAN horribly and he constantly putting up with her mess as most women usually do in these stories. I want to say so much more but do not want to give to much away. I recommend reading this series, I promise you will not be disappointed.
So Lorenz can’t keep his d out of Syn coota which has brought on new challenges. London dizzy, jealous and angry self has caused her a tremendous loss and lord I guess those Miami Haitians wasn’t ready for Texas big dogs. Barry and Cage gone. This book is great oh and Syn just keeps on whooping ass lol
Book 2 hasn't missed a beat. I'm glad the truth about London came out. She is trifling. I'm glad Cynn was putting hands and feet on all dem heffas they kept picking. This story was a great continuation of part one weell written with a great plot
Baby issh done just got real. See that London she got a whole lot of mouth for somebody that keep getting beat up. I’m kind of sad about Lexi. And cynne so damn fertile. I can’t wait to see how this plays out
I’m so ready for book 3 because LONDON chilleee she is something else. Smh poor Cynne she just can’t catch a break. I love Larenz that my book bae right there. I’m ready to read more about Von and Scar as well.
Loved the story it just seemed repetitive from the first book with all the back and forth would love Larenz to end up with someone who finally deserves him
Cynn getting out of prison had London, Kelly, and Destiny on edge. True enough I didn't like how Cynn did Larenz in part one but after realizing how her Mother Celine was. I had a better understanding of Cynn. She didn't grow up with a loving family like Larenz. Cynn grew up with an alcoholic mother who allowed her to get molested. Cynn didn't know how to receive the love Larenz showed her in the past. She was used to chaos and that was what Bombay brought in her life until she was set up and spent five years in prison. Larenz still had her back no matter how wrong she did him. His mother side of the family couldn't stand Cynn. Especially his sister Kelly. Kelly talked too damn much. Everytime Cynn turned around Kelly was in her and Larenz business. She was even hyping London simple minded ass up. Larenz father side of the family love Cynn. Larenz should've taken heed to what Cynn and his grandmother said about London spirit being dark. If he would've. It would have stopped a lot of bs from happening but then again it might not have because London was obsessed with Larenz and obsessed with getting Cynn out the way. All their slick comments ain't do nothing but have Cynn tired of trying to be the bigger person and dragging each of them. London didn't even realized that she was pushing Larenz right back into Cynn arms. She kept antagonizing Cynn and got her ass whooped multiple times. I like Cynn friend Scar. I laughed hard as hell when Scar pimp slapped London and her bestfriend. Larenz was at his wits in with the fighting between London, his sister Kelly, his niece, and Cynn. I can honestly say they all provoked Cynn. Larenz had came up from working at Taco Bell and a tire shop, to owning multiple shops and made his mark in the drug game. I knew he was going to get Cynn her lick back from Bombay and even Lexi. Lexi mother was a piece of s**t. Not only did she allow Lexi to be raped at a young age. She was also pimping her granddaughter Lucille out. Getting caught up with Bombay and Rue. Put a automatic target on Lexi back when the Haitians came looking for them. No matter how scandalous and trifling Lexi was. She didn't deserve what happened to her. Cage was a sick and disturbing monster. The things he did to Lexi. I wouldn't wish on any human being. Larenz even had a heart to rescue her making a promise to Lucille. Except it didn't work out the way him and Vory wanted to. The fact Barry and Cage came to town thinking they were going to bully Larenz was dumb. First off he had nothing to do with what Bombay, Hench, and Rue did. Secondly he didn't even know them. Barry was too cocky and underestimated Larenz which was the wrong move. While all that was going on. Larenz found out who really set Cynn up to go to prison. London knew she messed up and her excuse was ridiculous. Her taking Larenz son and daughter to get his attention definitely added to her already being on his shyt list. Cynn want London head and this time she might kill that girl for what she did to her kids.
I couldn’t wait until Larenz knew what was in that diary! He was taking too long and I was glad Lucille went straight to the page he needed to read! Glad Cynne beat up all the ones hating on her! London, London, why would you put those children in the trunk! It’s time for Cyn to really show out! Please hurry with part three!
