Y’all just a heads up, have a box of tissues while reading this one. It absolutely wrecked me.
This picked up right where Pincher left off and what a ride it was. I had a hard time putting this down for anything. My heart broke for Ruby and I was rooting for her from the very beginning. I love the organization Cap started, I think it not only helped others but himself as well. I’m looking forward to Bulls, Leos and Scales books big time especially Scales. 🖤🔥⭐️🔥🖤
My favorite quotes:
• As I rushed outside, the skies opened up into a beautiful drizzle of fresh rain, and I collapsed just outside the building, holding back the emotion clogging up my chest.
“Ruby, wait!” Cap hollered, coming to a stop just behind me. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine, Cap. Don’t worry about me.”
He knelt down beside me, the rain not bothering him at all. “I always worry about you, Ruby. I wouldn’t be able to stop if I tried.”
• Cap: When I looked into that deep abyss of blue that made up her eyes, I felt at home—like there was no other woman in this world for me. Only Ruby.
