One of the books that I read in my teenage years and re-reading it again brings back so many funny and romantic memories.

This is the story of friendship of Erika and Paul. They've been friends for a very long time and Paul suddenly felt this feelings for Erika but Erika doesn't feel anything more. Erika thinks that love and PDA (Public Display of Affection) are so overrated. She hates Valentine's Day and the superficial token of love like teddy bears and flowers.

Until one day, Paul said that he likes Katie and asked her out. Things started to change since Erika is no longer the priority in Paul's life.

Erika misses Paul and became so jealous of the attention Paul is giving Katie. She slowly realized that she loves Paul.

When she wrote that article in the school paper, she's writing about how she fely about Paul. She then understood that stolen kisses, hands held under the table, and PDA are not that bad but simple tokens of love. These simple tokens are understood by the recipient and it means the old-fashioned way of just being in love.

This was one of my first books that I read as a teenager. I found the book a few days ago and decided to do a reread. Crazy how my books have changed!
