Of the various divining arts, I have always liked the idea that my life path is written in my hands. I have often thought I can see the universe in my hands and find hands and feet to be interesting sources of inspiration in my creative ventures.
This cute little book Is full of colourful hand prints and illustrations and is a new edition of an 1883 classic, well researched and outlining the origins and meanings behind palmistry. Intriguing.

Apparently, all lines and mounts on your hand are affected by all the other lines and mounts. One does not stand by itself. Very interesting. Best I can figure, my hand said I was very average. No monumental epiphanies. But it looks like I may have a long life. It was fun to read and study my hands.
