Loved this series.

I actually read all the right reasons first and loved it. I went searching for other books by the same author and found this series. I was surprised how they all tied in together. I don't have a favorite, I loved all of them but #5 had a lot of personal meaning to me. Being married for 12 years and having a stillborn angel son really hit home with me. Thank you for all these wonderful books.

I don't usually write review, so I'm new at this. But I have to say this was a wonderful collection of stories by a great writer. All the stories grabbed me into the stories. If you have not read any of these books by Sandy James you are missing a treat. Now I am off to find more reading by Sandy James!

GrEat group of stories.

The last story Twist of Fate was my favorite in the book. I especially love time travel romances. The whole book gets four stars but Twist of Fate rates a five star review. I highly recommend this book and author. SQ

I love me a man in uniform, but give me one that is hurt and I'm all in.. I couldn't help but love these guys. A collection that all connected characters to each other..

This is a collection of stories all by the same author. Some of the stories have the same characters in them and it's nice to read one after the other, and some of the stories only have reference to the location so you don't have to have read the other books to enjoy them.

The reason this was 3 and not 4 stars is the last book. I hated the last book. I didn't want the characters back together, I didn't care about the female lead. I thought they were both annoying characters. It was such an awful read.

If you do happen to pick up this boxset, skip the last book you won't be missing out.

The Damaged Heroes Collection by Sandy James is a five book anthology with five full-length novels that center around the Miller family and their friends and relatives. Some use Indiana horse racing for the setting and some a beautiful ranch in Montana with others based in Chicago, Illinois. One is a travel back in time romance to give the collection a wide variety of themes. It is a fun anthology with each book offering a different setting and set of problems for the characters to work toward a happy ending.
