17 books56 followersThe author is a retired detective inspector who had been in charge of a covert unit, which received national acclaim for its successes in engaging those who openly sold Class A drugs.
Prior to this, he’d been in charge of the C.I.D. at Preston, having first led a dedicated informant unit.
He also worked on murders, drugs squads, and the regional and national crime squads, often in covert roles across the UK, Europe, and the Far East, receiving several commendations.
A member of the Crime Writers' Association he now writes crime, thrillers - in novel - and drama scripts. He uses his previous professional experiences to add gritty realism. Represented by SMA Talent.

As Chief Constable George Dawson retires, he is certain there is a cabal of corrupt senior detectives, led by Peter Bartholomew, infecting the organisation he loves, but he can’t prove it. Danial Wright is a former detective who has just learned his niece Sally has died from a heroin overdose. The two join forces to bring down the corrupt cops and catch the people responsible for Sally’s death. The plot encompasses the twists of noble cause corruption in the police, organised crime, and the tragedy of heroin abuse. Roger Price is a former police officer who has brought his long experience to the page with skill and chilling authenticity. This is a gripping thriller written at pace and stuffed with believable characters who could easily ride again in a series. Highly recommended.
