T.M Scott loves writing. With passion, drive and a taste for the unusual, she enjoys reading and writing new and different things. Doing her best to always think out of the box, her writing usually starts off as an insane scheme of some sort before she works out the finer aspects and turns it into something great! Her heroines and heroes are never the typical 'beautiful' people, meaning they all have some sort of quirk or oddity about them that makes them unique and refreshing characters everyone can relate to.

Her first novel, Symphoni, will be out in 2013 and her work has been featured in the horror anthology, The Withering Darkness. She lives in Los Angeles, California with her daughter Ariyanna.

Tianna has created such an amazing book! The characters in this story reminded me of the old Teen Titans with the super powers and different mix of characters. I especially loved how she created our leading lady Symphoni. Symphoni wasn't like most girls in books these days with their skinny bodies, blond hair, and white skin. Symphoni was the exact opposite. She was on the chunkier side with dark skin and dark hair. I loved how the characters weren't a bunch of wimps either. They all had their own battles and wars to deal with themselves and they did/would. This is a fresh new take out of all the books I've read in my entire life and I really enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't like was that it seemed like a few the characters were too hormonally driven. It was funny at times though and I liked that. The characters were quite entertaining and I think I see a sequel on the way.

Greg Daniels is your typical high school senior- charismatic, dealing with unrequited love, boring classes and school jerks. That is until the Symphoni sisters walk into his life. Now he finds himself lovestruck and stuck in-between an age old war between the Greek Gods and Titans. How does his relationship with Symphoni resonate with everything? How will his old relationships stand the test and just what is occurring in the prologue?

T.M. Scott's Symphoni is a fantastic addition to the world of YA literature. Her characters are dynamic and entertaining from page one to the end. From Greg to his friends to Symphoni each one shines with their own light and personality- and conflicts perfectly set in the teenage world. A surefire way to make anyone at that stage of their life smile, and a great way for those past the teen years to look back and laugh at just how colossal thing seemed back then. And we didn't even have to deal with the Greek Pantheon!

Her story is original and a wonderful to read take on a battle as old as time. The perfect mix of teen angst, romance and the fantastical that is hitting the selves now it's refreshing to see such a mix. Symphoni doesn't focus on purely one story element but has a great combination of elements that would make it a great way for kids to transition into the more adult topics found in other books. A must read if you love the Greeks and a little bit of romance.

While I loved the story and the characters there were a few elements that personally took me out a little bit. Predominately first person point of view. I am not a fan of first person writing. Greg Daniels character is amazing. But the other characters and their reactions were all told through him. For me it hinders me while reading to only see one side of everything- I like to get a feel for the main characters through each of their own heads to make sure nothing is biased. Also, the continual use of ( ) pulled me out each time. It is one of those unexplainable pet peeves that every readers has, it does nothing to change the wonder of the story, just a little off putting for me.

So if you're looking for a great new YA read be sure to pick up a copy of Symphoni today. I can't wait to read more and see if we get more perspective from the other characters we met!

"We don’t know the implications of our actions; of the decisions we make every day and the effects of those decisions. Greg, your choice, your fate, and your whole existence can be over in no time. I just hope, for everyone’s sake, that you get to do what you were created for,” she turned and looked at me, “before Legend does.”

Life hasn’t been too easy for Greg Daniels lately. But when he arrives at school on the first day back from summer vacation, he finds that things are much worse than he could have ever imagined.

Stuck in the middle of an ancient feud between the Olympians and the Titans, Greg discovers that the line between good and evil isn't always clear and his allies might be more dangerous than the enemy.

It’s not often I read a book like Symphoni. I was grumbling each and every time I had to leave my seat on the sofa – and bemoaned the fact that I didn’t have it in print! I wanted to take it everywhere…to the bath, to cook…even to walk to the shop! It’s definitely a read for those interested in Greek Mythology. There were lines in this book that literally had me giggling – including a scene about Twilight and werewolves!

This is written from the PoV of Greg – and so convincingly that I had to constantly remind myself that the writer was female! Greg, at the beginning of the book, is a self-confessed man-whore. He likes nothing more than to get his leg over…but since having sex with MJ, his best friend, he’s not been able to get her out of his head.

That is, until he meets Symphoni, the girl of his dreams. Or is it Kassandra? The sister of the guy who stole the only girl he loved from him…

What is there lingering between ‘childhood friends’, Legend and Symphoni? Why does Joi, Symphoni’s sister leer at him? What is the connection between them all? Greg will find out…amidst learning things about the people he knows that could scare him…if it wasn’t for the fact that he has something to live for…

Greg Daniels just got his heart broken by his best friend MJ . He will never get over her blah blah bl- Oh wait hot new girl in school.. What were we talking about again?? Ah yes! Mj.. Greg is struggling with being friends with Mj and her new boyfriend Legend. Hes not struggling with being friends with Kassandra Legends twin sister.. On the first day of school he spots Symphoni and her sisters he is immediately drawn to her.. I know what your thinking insta love ugh! But I think the book and characters were written in such a way that you wont think that while reading.. At least I didnt.. to be honest it hadnt occurred to me until I started typing.. So hes drawn to her and has to know her because theres something about her that just feels right to him..

This school year is different Greg ever the man whore seems to have calmed down which is good.. Hes torn between his attraction between Symphoni and his attraction to Kassandra.. There are other changes for Greg he seems to become a better person.. which I believe was unintentional on his part.. I really really liked Greg he has to be one of my favoritest characters.. I feel like we could totally be friends hes like me but with man bits.. Oh and hes a jock and im a book nerd.. Obviously he was my favorite in this book followed closely by Dennis.. Those two are hilarious!

So crazy things happen, things that arent normal.. And soon it is revealed thers a war between Titans and Olympians going back eons .. And Greg could be the guy to stop it.. Greek Mythology -sigh- you know I love it.. I did a bit of chuckling while reading.. However I was greatly upset with the cliffhanger ending.. I can only hope T.M Scott has diarrhea of the mind and churns out #2 in the series soon!

I got asked by TM to read her book awhile ago and I fell in love with it. Then when she asked if I would participate in the tour I of course said yes and I read the book over again so I could have it fresh in my mind for this review and now days later I still know I can’t get this review to express just how much I loved this book. But I will try.

Greg is your average high school guy. He plays sports, has unrequited love from his best friend MJ but all that changes when Symphoni starts at his school. Greg is drawn to her immediately and feels an electric current go through him when she is near or touches him. But what Greg doesn’t know is he is in now in the middle of an age old war that pits Greek Gods against Titans. His new relationship with Symphoni has something to do with it all.

As I stated earlier I absolutely loved this story. The characters are all written so well. I loved the Eros sistes. They are like nothing out there in other books. Symphoni is my favorite of the females. She is not perfect. She is a little on the thick side not some bone skinny girl which I can not relate to those girls at all. I loved her attitude and the way she would make Greg blush and sound like a blubbering idiot. It had me laughing every time. Greg is a great guy all though at the begging he irritated me with his attitude towards girls but he is after all a teenage male. Lol! All the other characters are just as fun to read about and make the story flow well. They all have issues and battles to over come and they do.

I desperately need book two so I can get back to this amazingly epic world TM has written and has completely drawn me into and made me fall in love with her characters. My only issue with this book is the cliff hanger ending. I have a complete love/hate relationship with them. But I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Greek Mythology. 5/5 Bloody Fangs

I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I love this cover!! And let me tell you, the book is as hot as the girl... I mean flames on it! I loved how T.M. Scott made the reader wait until halfway through the book before they got the whole story on all of the characters. There was such a build-up and I almost couldn't wait to hear their stories. Very climatic if you ask me. I also want to praise Ms. Scott for flawlessly writing from a males perspective. I also enjoyed reading the last few chapters from Symphoni's point of view. Like I mentioned before this book is hot!! There is so much sexual tension between everyone that I almost though there would be a giant orgy. Luckily, since this is a YA novel there was no such thing ;) all the characters did was kiss and caress. Everything else was assumed.
I loved these characters! They were all hotties. But they also all had different body types and looks going on. They were also all hilarious and I couldn't get enough of their bickering. There were a lot of selfless acts going on despite ere being two opposing sides. I can't wait to find out what happened to the "villain". I have a sneaking suspicion they they will return. I can't wait to find out what happens to all of the couples.
I will most definitely be carrying on with this series. Especially after the cliffhanger ending! I would recommend this book to Greek mythology lovers.

Ms. Scott has given me the privilege and honor of reading her book. The book itself pulls you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Once I started reading it I didn't want to put it down. Her characters come to life in your mind's eye as she so amazingly describes their thoughts and feelings, the struggles and triumphs of each one. She has such a gift to be able to put herself inside the mind of the main character who is male, yet you never once find him lacking in his maleness. To be able to do this is in my opinion one of the things that makes her such a great writer. This book has a little of everything...action, a love story, teen angst...the plot is rich. I have fallen in love with the characters and even more in love with the author. I can't wait to read the next book.

The author gave me the amazing honor of reading her book and what a phenomenal book it was. She has such a gift to pull you into the mind of the main character Greg. A woman writing in a man's mind is tough enough but to do it as flawlessly as she does it requires a certain gift that is rare among writers. The story of Symphoni and Greg was so awesome how as he falls in love with her the earth shakes and the clouds roll. Yep that's Greg's love for Symphoni. But his love is wanted by many, Jazzmine, MJ, Symphoni, and Kassandra and he feels a pull towards all of them. Which will he choose? You will have to find out as the story unravels in this amazing book that is VERY hard to put down! Reviewed by Lee of Fae Books Inc.

This book was really interesting. It takes you kind of back to senior year in high school. It seems everyone loves Greg. His best friends MJ and Dennis met this new group over the summer. Legend and his twim sister Kassandra. Then Symphoni and Joi show up the first day of school giving off this odd electronic vibe. That's when I would've run from them all. This story was interesting and odd at the same time for me. It was very creative but just seemed like it would be for younger readers than me. Once you start to read it you can't put it down though. I read it in about 4 hours. It's fast moving and does hold your attention.

Oh, my gods! T.M. Scott's Symphoni is a fresh perspective on YA. Her characters are flawed and each have their own recipe of issues. This was a breath of fresh air; they weren't Mary Sues considering their family trees. The author's has an ability to pull in the reader and keep them captivated, chapter by chapter. The story left me wanting more and the cliffhanger at the end had me hesitant to turn the page, fearing the story was over. Sadly, it was; however, this just means I'll have to read the second installment once it's released. Bravo on your debut novel, T.M. Scott. You have a new fan in me. Five stars!

I know I am in the minority and I actually feel bad for not liking this book more, but here is the thing...if I cannot relate to the characters in some way, or I just plain don't like them, I struggle with a book. And I did somewhat with this one. The storyline is fine, and I usually love Greek mythology, but most of the main characters just annoyed me. Greg was a self-centered d*#k, MJ was a irrational lunatic, Legend was an a$$, Kass was just there and Symphoni...although of most of the main characters the most likeable...she kind of irritated me too. The only ones I actually liked were Dennis, Glori, Ares, and Joi.

The book centered around every girl wanting Greg, Greg believing he is entitled to sleep with them all with no commitment even though he professed to love his BFF MJ, and the Gods all finding mates and fighting. The irrational part was that MJ was supposed to be like Greg, but you didn't read about men fighting for her. Yep, she was definitely selfish, self-absorbed, and nuts, but Greg came across as more sane especially towards the end.

What would have worked for me is the fact that there is a war between the Titans and the Olympians and that there are 2 special people that can turn the tide in favor of one group. Winning those people, by whatever means while showing those people as having gifts that they were not aware of and how they evolved would have made for a great story, but it fell flat for me because of all of the pettiness of the main characters. Not that I cannot see a God being petty because they expect to get their way, but it just missed its mark for me.

I won this book at a facebook give away and I was happy I would get the chance to read it when it was picked for book of the week for my book group. I read the prequel for the series in week one and I must say I had moments I wished I had read this one first, but also moments I was glad I had the information I did from the prequel. I will say a little bit of the mystery that at first was meant to surround Symphoni and the others was lost, but it also did not cause me to enjoy this book any less. I really love Greek mythology and I found this story to have a new twist, it had many of the old Gods I knew mentioned but it's almost like a spin off style, that's the best way I can think to explain it with out spoiling anything. I do wish I had a bit more on the was but I know that with all that had happened it will be a big part of the series in the books to come (well at least I hope it will).
I really liked how this was a good vs evil story and the picking of sides is made obvious and I don't know if it's because I read the prequel and got an insight into Legend, but I found it very had to pick sides I mean I know you should always root for good but I am not really sure who that is yet. The Cliffhanger was crazy and I definitely want more of this series after that!!!

Symphoni is an intriguing story of prophecy and war between Titans and Olympians brought to High School.

I was torn between wanting to love this story and hating it because so often the dialogue was at odds with the the actual plot. The dialogue was what kept pullig me back from fully immersing in the story; it was more junvenile than the rest of the text and didn't always seem to fit.

The interaction and relationshipss between characters were my favorite part. T.m. did a fantastic job setting up her characters and their developent. The tensions and love interests. I also loved her incorporation of mythology into the plot. It was really intresting, but I felt lost behind the relationships going on. I would've like to have seen ore of the actual plot and it's development. Perhaps in a future novel.

I absolutely loved this book. I got a little confused at a few of the details, but simply because the author went into great detail. this also didn't happen until a little ways into the book, which I liked. it made you wanting more and to keep reading to figure it out. the story is unique in its own way, that I have not read very many, if any, with a similar storyline, which was refreshing. once I started this book, and when I was able to pick it up, I couldn't put it back down. I had to know what happened next. as far as any cons, and this is more of my quirk, as I find these in other books, it does need a read through, as there a few grammar mistakes, but again, that's me. it didn't really affect the over all story.

Greek mythology whats not to love.. I did enjoy this book and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is cause it took me a while to get in to it. once the book got going though I really enjoyed it.

the book is about Greg who is in love with one girl only to find this girl doesn't feel the same when he returns to school.. then Symphoni shows up and he can't take his eyes off of her. He then learns of his important role in the war between the titans and the Olypians.

I found her take on the characters a joy and I found that the physical and emotional flaws the characters have made them more relatable. this is a very good book and a good read.

After reading Legend, I was quite curious to see what would happen next. Symphoni was a better experience for me than Legend, I liked the blend of privileged kids' high school life and supernatural beings, and how the characters had evolved from one book to the next. Plus, being a fan of everything related to Greek mythology, I knew the Olympians vs. the Titans will provide further reasons to keep reading. After seeing things through Legend's eyes, I thought I wouldn't like Greg much, but I found him quite easy to connect with.

I received the book in exchange for an honest review.

Definitely More Legend!

I loved this book. It was very creative and I had a love/hate thing going on with a few characters. That makes a very good author in my opinion. Symphoni was a fun read, exciting and sexy, without all the sex, which I love the build up that always seems to get interrupted. I cannot wait to read Legend. I knew it (no spoiler alerts here) but I knew it. I cannot wait to see what else this author comes up with in her next book.

I really enjoyed this book as well. I can't imagine feeling electrified every time a god or goddess walks into the room... But sometimes being labeled a playboy can have it's advantages. People know you. The typical high school jock- Greg Daniels has always felt his best friend M.J. was the perfect girl for him, until he meets Symphoni Eros... And finds out he still has a lot to learn. I highly recommend this book.

I wasn't sure I was going to finish this book. I am glad that I stuck it out. Once I was past the birthday party, the story began to make sense. I did read the prequel, Legend, before this book and wish I read it after. Knowing the back story was part of the trouble I had at the start of the book. That and Greg's constant talk of chocolate and flowers when he was with Symphoni.

Confusion aside, it is an interesting story and I look forward to see how it all plays out.

Symphoni is an awesome book and a definite must read. For anyone interested in mythology this will have never wanting to put the book down. Greg gets caught up in the ancient feud between the Titans and the Olympians – good and evil. People he calls his friends may be more dangerous than his enemies. This story will keep you wanting more and leave you hanging on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. Would definitely recommend to others.

First off... LOVE LOVE LOVE the cover!! It's gorgeous!! Second, this book was definitely better than Legend (it's prequel). But that could be because Legend was meant to be read after Symphoni and I read it before. Anyways, if you enjoy reading twists based of Greek mythology, than this book is definitely a good choice. The chemistry between the characters was great, as was the storyline and the secondary characters. Can't wait to read the next one!

I really Liked this book even more than I liked legend. It was a great story. I really Like Symphoni and And Kassandra. I think that both of them are great characters. I think that before you read this book though you should read the book Legend. In order to explain further the relationship between Symphoni and Kassandra and Legend. I really hope that she writes another one.
