och die Anfangseuphorie schwindet rasch, denn mehr und mehr verdrängt ihr neuer Job ihr normales Leben.

In the book, we follow a student who moves to London and, over time, begins working as a stripper to finance her lifestyle and education. Personally, I appreciate stories based on true events, which is why I enjoyed this narrative. It was fascinating to gain insights into the world of stripping. However, the book unfortunately became repetitive, likely to reach around 250 pages. Spoiler: Although Juliana (the protagonist) mentioned feeling afraid to tell her mother about her stripping and came close to revealing it, the actual reaction of her mother or family is never disclosed. In general, more details about her private life at that time would have been appreciated. Nonetheless, the book was a pleasant read, earning it three stars. :)
