Brady, Abbi, and Daisy stole my heart ❤️Absolutely loved this new installment in this series! An swoony, emotional, and heartfelt romance between two characters that you can not help but love, and a gorgeously sweet love story. I loved it!

Brady is a bull rider and doesn’t have time for relationships. Abbi is a mom to little Daisy first and foremost. And as everyone knows, you don’t mess around with a single mom, and Brady does try to stay away from her / them, but these 2 girls just captured his heart and he can’t resist. But Abbi has some secrets, and they come to catch her when Brady is back in his rodeo season and in the limelight! Loved this book so much that I can not even begin to describe how much! No one writes family sagas as amazing as Kristen Proby does, and I’m falling head over heels every single time! The Wild’s family is amazing, and seeing so many ‘old’ favorite characters in her books has me giddy every time.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the found family aspect and the relationship Brody’s family already had with Abbi and Daisy. I loved the relationship between Daisy and Brody. It was a great plot that was well executed. I can’t wait for Holden and Millie next!

**Cowboy romance
**Small town
**Runaway h
**Exciting ending

I have followed this series since the very beginning and had the pleasure of reviewing it early for every one of them! What a treat it's been! I have loved this series. But I have to say I think this one might be my favorite book from the series! I absolutely loved Brady, Abbi, and Daisy!

This book opens with a BANG! The opening scene of this book was HEAVY! And so perfectly delivered! You won't be able to put it down afterward. I know I couldn't!

Abbi's story is a rough one! She's fought battles no one should have to fight! And despite everything her character was still so strong. She fought hard to keep her trauma from her daughter giving her a beautiful life surrounded by people who love her. And that includes Brady! Brady was such a stand-up MMC. Even when he wasn't with Abbi he did all kinds of special things for Daisy that would have any mother swooning! Like getting dressed up and TAKING HER TO A DANCE! That sweet little girl adored him! And I absolutely loved the relationship between the two of them! Every single mom's dream!

This series was the first set of books I've ever read by Kristen Proby. And man, has her writing stolen my heart. Her ability to write the perfect found family book is one of my favorite things about her writing. If you love single-mom romances with swoony cowboys who do adorable things for both mother and daughter, then this book is definitely for you!

On The Wild Side brings us a broody cowboy, Brady Wild and a sweet, single mom Abbi. I've sent heir chemistry building and I was excited to see them fall in love. There is also the Abbi's adorable little girl, Daisy who wins Brady, and us, over in a heartbeat.

Brady is three-time world champion Bull Rider but he's getting to the older side for the sport. His body's sure feeling it and he knows each time he rides, he's flirting with disaster. It's why he doesn't let any of his loved ones watch him.

Abbi is a business women and she may be finding a home in this small town but there is danger haunting her and Daisy's past. Brady is great with her daughter and they could have it all. If she's willing to trust and let him love them.

I thought these two had a very sweet relationship and if you're looking for low angst and an easy story to read, this one does it. There is a bit of trauma in Abbi's past, so check the TW.

Overall, this was a solid entry to the series. Looking forward to the next one! I listened to the audio and it was a good performance by both narrators.

“Life’s short. If you love the girl - LOVE HER!”

I’ve been itching for this story since book one of the series. There’s just something about single moms and the men who love them and their kids as their own. This one had a secret and a bit of mystery to it that I loved also. This series is a must read!!

If you don't want plot twists, this is for you. You can see the drama coming from miles away. It's not a bad thing. It's the type of book to read when you need a break from overly dramatic books, or even from Dark Romance.

There are a few mentions of child abuse in every form but it's off page. It still could be triggering for some people, so, beware.

I liked the book, I enjoyed it but it was not my favorite.

"On the wild side" is a sweet, romantic and steamy small-town love story that makes you feel a deep connection to the main characters.

We met Brady and Abbi in the previous books. I could see the connection between Brady and Daisy (Abbi's daughter) from the other stories. In this book, they become even closer. Just like father and daughter. Abbi is finally settled in Bitterroot Valley with her own business and her adorable little daughter. But there was still something missing from her life - someone to share her life with. For her, Brady is that person. For a while now, she has had a big crush on him. She can't believe that he may feel the same for her after he finally kissed her. Then again, at first, he keeps his distance, because he thinks he is not good enough for her and that he can't have a family on his own, because of his job. But time and again, she proves him wrong.

They are so similar to each other. She is also afraid to trust someone after everything she's been through in her life. But she wants to be with him and never gives up. After a bit, he finally realized he is deeply in love with her and that maybe he deserves happiness.

They were a very sweet couple. When they are together they fit perfectly, and it just feels right. I loved everything about them and how strong they were as one.

I can't deny that their love scenes were hot and steamy. I can definitely feel the burning fire when they were together 🌶️. My heart was satisfied when it came to the spice.

Overall, I loved reading "On the Wild Side".

“We live this life because we love it, who we are because of it, and those who care about us despite it. Bitterroot Valley, Montana is where my heart lives.”

First Impressions
On the Wild Side is the latest release of the "Wilds of Montana" by Kristen Proby. This is a forced proximity, single mother on the run, hiding in a small Montana town who falls hard for a infamous bull rider. This book was super heartfelt and even though it wasn't a perfect book, its a book that will make you feel deeply and will captivate your emotions from the very beginning. If you are a fan of western romance, sexy cowboys or Kristen Proby, then this book is a must read for you.

“You look—” I begin, but he cuts me off, sweeping me up in his arms and kissing the breath out of me, right here in front of his family. When he finally sets me back on my feet, I realize that we’re surrounded by applause, and I can’t help but laugh. “You know how to make an entrance.” “You’re so fucking beautiful I can hardly breathe.”

First Line
"What am I supposed to do without you?" I can't stop the tears that fall onto my cheeks.

The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Brady Wild
The Heroine:Abbi Kastella

Summary
Brady Wild is a bull riding world champion and his life and focus has always been rodeos and bringing honor to his best friend who lost his life to the sport. And even though he knows he is at the end of his career, he is falling hard for single mom, Abbi, whom he can see himself wanting to sacrifice everything for and her beautiful charming daughter, Daisy, who has his heart wrapped around her finger. But Abbi is on the run, hiding a secret from everyone including the man she loves. Will her secret break everything she has built with Brady? Or will their love last through it all?

What I Loved
This book melted my heart so deeply. From the beginning you can sense their chemistry but you also see that both of them are holding back in the beginning and its truly Daisy that brings them together making Abbi and Brady wanting to risk everything for each other. Daisy held my heart from the beginning and she was such an adorable little girl and the reaction that Brady has to Daisy was endearing. Both Brady and Abbi have reservations about opening their heart completely. But what makes their relationship so unique is seeing them both take that leap of faith with each other. I loved how they just click when they open their hearts to one another. Seeing how Abbi is with his family was charming and how protective they get over her and Daisy when the truth comes out was so poignant, it just makes you want to hold onto this moment forever.

I am in love with her. If I could, I’d magically build a house—any house she wants—out here at the ranch and move us all in there tomorrow. I’d marry her, have more babies with her, and make a family. Daisy can have all the animals she wants. I want to make a life with this woman. She deserves that. She deserves everything.

What I Struggled With
How the secret from Abbi comes out. I was NOT a fan of how long she holds onto the secret and quite honestly, after everything becomes revealed, I didn't understand when they are talking marriage and building a home, she still didn't tell him, only when she has no choice does she actually tell him right before she plans on running away from him. Yeah I wasn't okay with that at all. Another aspect I didn't like is when Brady gets hurt and she doesn't come to him because of her career....like girl no job is worth not seeing to your man when he needs you. It was a bit cringe to be honest. So yeah while I would have loved giving this book a higher rating, the heroines in this series have been a bit cringe in their feminist ideals something that isn't as focused in her previous books. *shrugs*

Overall View
On The Wild Side is a story that takes you on a journey of letting go of fears and reservations and embracing the best part of love and what the heart is capable of.....a true masterpiece of swoons and depths!

“That’s my girl.” I brush my hand over Daisy’s hair. “My sweet princess. I want you to know that I would have followed you, and I would have found you. There is no world where you run from me, Abbi. You’re it for me. You are the love of my life, and I plan to make a home and a family with you out here. No crazy broad is going to ruin that for us. Not today or any other day.”

5🌟/ another gem by @kristenproby and I just adored Brady, Abbi and Daisy! Abbi is a widow and single mother with lots of secrets and finds herself in the midst of The Wilds, especially Brady Wild, a bull rider champion with some secrets of his own. She can’t help but fall for this amazing and kind man who is not only good to her but absolutely is a hero to Daisy, her young daughter. I love how Brady treats Abbi like his queen and Daisy as a princess! Its opening chapter is on the heavy side, yet the book is full of sweetness and warmth as the friendship and romance between Abbi and Brady builds. I loved that they start as friends and end up together. Their chemistry is very sweet and tender. And who doesn’t love a hunky bull rider who is loyal and caring AND sexy! 🫠

ADORABLE

I truly love this couple with my whole heart.

Brady was truly such a perfect book boyfriend: the way he cares about Abbi and Daisy made me giggle and kick my feet everytime - especially with the amazing performance from Zach.

This audiobook was so enjoyable, I didn’t notice I was listening to it. This duo is a match made in heaven and it’s just a perfect performance for such an amazing story.
Hats off Samantha!! Every scene when Abbi experienced panic attacks or every single dramatic situation was performance SO PERFECTLY DONE - I was truly mesmerized by it.

Little Daisy is one of my favorite fictional kids EVER and I will protect her at all costs - so cute and sweet and a truly main character.

This book is such an amazing story about love and life - and everything in between. I don’t want to deliver too much but it was a book that spoke to me in a real deep way.

This is the fourth book in the series but could be read on its own, no problem. Abbi has a rough backstory and it added so much tension and suspense alongside such a sweet and adorable romance storyline. I loved how tender and kind Brady was with Abbi but I loved the way he was with her daughter even more. Samantha Brentmoor did such an amazing job I forgot the male narrator even existed, she’s just SO good and she gave it her all here.

Absolutely fell in love with this world and these characters! It was so easy to fall into the story which was so nice. I’m a sucker for a bull rider and let’s just say Brady has my heart. The connection he built with Daisy was the sweetest. The plot was interesting and it hooked me from the beginning! It seems that Abbi and Brady definitely knew there was chemistry so I’m super excited to go back in dive into the other characters story to see if my assumption was correct. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fast pace small town romance!

On the run and hiding out in a small town in Montana, Abbi and her beautiful daughter Daisy are finally starting a new life. Welcomed with open arms and owning a thriving business, everything seems to be looking up. But what happens when local champion bull rider Brady Wild sets his sights on the single mother?

I really enjoyed this story and the audiobook! I love books where the FMC is on the run, and I found myself questioning throughout most of the book who she was running from. I finally got the answers toward the end. I loved Abbi and Brady together. Brady isn’t one for commitment or girlfriends, but he fell hard for Abbi. The relationship develops early in the book, so it’s not a slow burn. The nickname “Blue Eyes” had me melting, and the spice was just right. Brady would do anything for his girls. Really enjoying Kristen’s writing. Just be mindful of contents and themes if you dive into this.

Keeping janet a secret does not make sense.... she should have told him after they agreed to build the house. And she's oh so terrified, has to leave the man and family she loves that she just opens the door for the evil lady 💀... no peephole no ring cam.... what is this lol and you're telling me that the same abbi that battled through her rape trauma to knock buddy out with a frying pan suddenly has no fight against an unarmed cracked out old lady???? And let's her put hands on her daughter???????????????????????????????? Like how did Janet even get daisy in her arms???? 💀

Single mom | found family | bull rider & cowboy

This was a super sweet cowboy romance! This had heavier themes than other books in this series and overall was entertaining and fast paced. The relationship progression was quick and romantic, a bit cheesebally from time to time for my taste, but over all very sweet! There were also a fair amount of steamy scenes in here. And I loved Abbi’s daughter, Daisy!

So this book is easily the heaviest of the bunch. This series began as a really lighthearted series. There was a little danger and a little drama but nothing too deep that added any major gravity to the story.

This one immediately has a different tone than books 1 through 3.

And I like that - I like that we finally get a little seriousness, a little angst.

What I didn't care for so much in this book that in the first few chapters, we encounter a situation that I despise. Let me describe it for you.

Man gets hung up on woman, but for whatever reason, won't let himself have her. So he goes to a bar, meets ANOTHER woman, gets almost naked with her, then decides - nope, we can't screw because you're not who I really want - THEN goes and meets up with the woman he wants in the first place.

1. This is gross, little boy behavior.
2. You're leading another, completely innocent party on by going home with her, then deciding she's not who you want. What an awful thing to do to a person - and just because she's a puck bunny or buckle bunny or whatever the hell doesn't diminish the fact that she's a human person with real human feelings. We don't treat people like they're disposable. That's gross. (It doesn't even matter that Jen's not a good person in the end. If Brady hadn't done what he did with her, I doubt she'd ever have been a problem in the first place.)
3. I don't want that kind of person anywhere near my FMC. She doesn't deserve someone who thinks it's okay to "fuck her out of my system" with someone else. It doesn't matter that Brady didn't go through with it with the other woman. He went home with her. Led her on to the point where she was undressed. Then drove to Abbi's house with this other woman's taste still on his lips. Nasty.

To Brady's credit he does immediately tell Abbi about it - at the same time telling her that he wants her, but shouldn't be with her because he's "not a good bet" or whatever. But it still doesn't change the fact that he did it in the first place.

This became a nasty dark little cloud that followed me through this book. No matter how sweet Brady was with Abby or how much I adored him with Daisy. No matter how pure the relationship became. I kept thinking about this incident that happens just 12% into the story.

And the whole reason he'd decided in the beginning that he couldn't be with Abbi falls completely by the wayside by 15% of the way through. He is a bull rider, and risks his life and he doesn't want to hurt Abbi and Daisy if something happens to him - but it absolutely doesn't stop him from spending all his time with them and falling in love with both of them and letting them do the same.

So honestly, what was the whole point of this entire situation? There isn't one. Because he doesn't let it get in his way at all. Which makes me feel even weirder about the whole Jen thing because it could have been avoided altogether if he'd gotten his head out of his ass sooner.

Anyway.

Now let's talk about the good stuff.

As I said, there's a LOT more angst in this story. Abbi's got a terrible past, with real, complex trauma that follows her into her adult life. We get to learn a little bit about it over the course of the story, and we get to see how it affects her. THIS is the depth I've been searching for in this series. Abbi is a fantastic character, a strong, successful woman who still sometimes struggles overcoming her godawful childhood.

When things in the present happen, it triggers terrible flashbacks and panic attacks and they feel realistic while also making me feel super close to her as a character.

AND we get to see Brady and the whole of the Wild collective come together to support and uplift her and make her feel safe. This aspect of this story earned every single star for me.

The drama at the end is about on par for this series - and while I'm kind of tired of the "psychopaths are hunting me" storyline, I eat it up every time and this time is no different. It's just weird, right that EVERY. SINGLE. Wild couple has had some crazy person come along and try to hurt or kill one of them, right? Is Montana just the place where people who are running from something end up? Jesus.

Anyway, this story had its ups and downs for me. More than the previous 3. And as much as I Adored some aspects, others just didn't land the way I wanted them to. Here's hoping we end this series on a high note with Millie's book!

ARC REVIEW

“Brady Wild is an addiction that I may never recover from.“

And I take that to heart because like sameeee. This is my favorite single mom book to date! I was immediately drawn in to Abbi and Brady’s story. Abbie is looking for a fresh start and is able to find a place to call home in Bitterroot Valley where she finds people who become family to her and her daughter. Brady steps up for her daughter more then anyone in the past and is literally the “if he wanted to he would” and boy does he. 🤭This is my fave of the series yet. Although ALL these men are to die for. This series is everything and I just need you all to run and read them.

What to expect:

What to Expect:
- Small Town Romance

- Woman on the Run
- Reformed Playboy
- Bull Rider Hero
- Curvy Heroine
- Romantic Suspense
- Found Family

This was my first book by Kristen Proby, and it's clear I've been missing out. I could not put this one down. Brady is a professional bull rider, leaving no time to commit to a relationship. Enter Abbi. She is a single mother on the run, starting a new life in Montana. Brady and Abbi are drawn to each other, and although they try to ignore their feelings, they cannot deny their attraction to each other.

I loved this story so much! Brady, Abbi, and Daisy have my entire heart. I loved Brady and Abbi together. They had amazing chemistry. Brady definitely brought the heat. He is perfect and has such a sweet relationship with Daisy. He fell hard for Abbi, and I loved every second of it. Abbi's story is heartbreaking and emotional. She is so incredibly strong and would do anything to protect Daisy. Brady was protective, patient, and supportive. He was there for Abbi when she needed him. Brady was all about action and really showed Abbi and Daisy how much he cared for them. I loved the found family element and the suspense had me on the edge of my seat. On the Wild Side is such a sweet story, and I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

Narration:
The audiobook was amazing! Samantha Brentmoor and Zachary Webber performed this story in dual-style narration. They are two of the best in the industry and absolutely nailed it. Samantha and Zachary were the perfect voices for Abbi and Brady and fully embodied both characters. Their storytelling is top-notch, making it easy for me to get lost in this story.

Thanks to Kristen Proby, Lyric Audiobooks, and Must Love Audio for the gifted advanced listener copy. Opinions expressed are my own.

Things happened a little to fast for Abbi and Brady, but what they ended up being was sweet

4.5 stars

This started off so sweetly with Brady taking Daisy to the father/daughter dance. It melted my heart so much. It wasn’t only that moment, but all the moments that Daisy and Brady had together. Seeing him falling in love with Daisy more and more throughout the book, just brought me so much joy and happiness. It was a big reason that I loved this one.

I did think that things happened a little too quickly for my liking between Abbi and Brady. I needed a little more development and build up. A big part of the problem was that it rushed into that physical right away. I didn’t care for that as well as some of the sexy times that they had.

However, what they did wind up developing was pretty beautiful and special. They had moments of bonding and understanding as they got to know each other more. When Abbi revealed dark things about her past, the support and the love he gave her was glorious. The way he took care of her along the way was utterly perfect. I really loved what they formed and how they became a family unit.

I loved the whole Wild family dynamics. They provided quite a few laughs, but also some really great heartfelt moments. They also provided somd much great support for both Abbi and Daisy. The way they pulled together at the end was spot on.

There was a suspense element, though it was more in the background than anything else. However it did add a bit of tension and edge to the story. Plus it just upped the ante more between Abbi and Brady, which I appreciated.

I've adored every single book in this small town series, and I could not wait to dive into Brady and Abbi's story.

Brady is our bull riding world champ who loves working on his families ranch in Montana.
Abbi is our single mom who recently moved to town and started her own cleaning business. The two of course run into one another because small town life and because their circle of friends is similar.
Abbi has lived her whole life in the background, trying not to be seen. But leave it to the hot cowboy, Brady Wild, to give her more attention than she's used to. But Abbi comes with a lot of baggage, secrets, and a sassy daughter to top it all off. And Brady is busy traveling the country for months out of the year trying to maintain his champion status as a bull rider. However, Brady just can't see to stay away. Plus, he likes taking risks and living life on the wild side ;)

I love how these two admitted their love for one another whole heartedly. I adored how fast and hard Brady fell for Daisy, Abbi's little girl. Brady is a total protector - he's head over heals for Abbi and Daisy, and it showed throughout the whole book.
And my goodness the things Abbi had been through. My heart broke hearing her backstory, but I am so so happy she gets to live out her HEA on Wild River Ranch with Brady and the rest of his amazing family.

The reason this was 4 instead of 5 stars for me is that I felt the book could have been a bit shorter. I was getting distracted at some points. Additionally, some of the "dirty talk"/spice felt a little disjointed in the beginning.

✨ On The Wild Side by Kristen Proby ✨

A bull riding bachelor and a single mom on the run!? Say less. This is my new favorite in the Wild's of Montana Series!! Can we talk about how I was tearing up in the PROLOGUE!? I couldn't get enough of Brady, Abbi, and Daisy. Once Brady decided he was all in on Abbi and Daisy, I loved how he never wavered. He was committed, and patient, and supportive, and oh yea- totally delivered in the bedroom. And Abbi was just the best mom and friend. Her past was HEAVY and each and every flashback broke my heart, but she was strong through all the challenges. I adore the girl group and the found family in this series and I think it really stood out in this book. The ending had me holding my breath. Once you get to the HEA, it was soooo perfect. I may have shed some happy tears during the last chapter and the epilogue.

This audiobook was INCREDIBLE!! It was narrated in Dual style by Samantha Brentmoor and Zachary Webber. Sam is a favorite female narrator of mine and this was the kind of book where she just SHINES! I love her male voice equally as much as her female voice and her southern accent in this one was PERFECT. Zachary Webber is another favorite and I loved the way he read Brady. I loved this audiobook!

Thank you so much to Kristen Proby, Must Love Audio, and Valentine PR for this gifted ARC and ALC.

“You are the reason for everything in my life. You are the light, and the goodness that I didn’t know was missing."

Oh my gosh, Brady and Abbi’s story couldn't have been more perfect! After the little snippet with Brady & Daisy, Abbi’s daughter, in the previous book, my heart melted and couldn't wait to read their story, I NEEDED more!

“Every time I think I’m used to how you make me feel, I’m hit with it all over again, as if I’m struck by lightning. And how, exactly, do you feel? Like nothing and no one else in the world exists. Like I was made just for this. Just for you.”

These two never stood a chance against each other. They were made for each other..... soulmates! Brady may be a broody cowboy who never wanted a relationship because of the dangers of his job, but we all know the right woman will always change that for a man, and that was Abbi for Brady. Abbi was cautious of who she let into her life because of the secrets she had to keep, but with Brady, it was as if he had always been in her life and he treated her baby girl like she was his, that was all it took!

“I love you. I tried not to. I really tried because I’m still not feeling great about being in a relationship when I still have to get on a bull, but it seems that I just can’t control the way I feel when it comes to you. And I don’t want to hold back because being with the two of you has changed my life in all of the good ways.”

“You’ll keep the earrings on, Because I’m going to fuck you while you wear my diamonds.”

This man was so swoony and the dirty talk woahh!! Plus Daisy was too cute and brought so much fun with her antics good could you not fall in love with her. Add in all the family, and you get such an incredible story that shows just how strong family ties truly are.

“I can’t wait to move into our home, to make more babies, and to live this life with you, every day, knowing that no matter what happens, we choose each other.”

A great addition to the series, Brady Wild and Abbi, as well as her daughter Daisy. We have met both characters before, Abbi as one of the women in the Iconc Womens Collective, while Brady is one of the Wild brothers.

I was hooked from the first chapter, both our characters have things in their pasts that have shaped who they are today. Abbi’s is rough, and look at the trigger warnings, if you need to. I admire her strength and determination to continue forward. Brady is a champion bull rider. His body has taken a beating over the years, and he is looking to call it a career. He, too, has some reservations about relationships and feels he is not good enough or in the right career to give her and Daisy what they need.

There is some danger lurking from Abbi’s past. That is a secret she will have to share with you. I love how Brady is with Daisy, and Abbi. How they work together to build a relationship, break down the walls, and build up the trust.

I am excited for the next book in the series.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

**Audio Review**
Happy sigh…Give me all those blue-eyed feels. On the Wild Side by Kristen Proby was a sweet and swoony small-town romance that tugged at my heartstrings from start to finish. I’d been anticipating Brady’s romance and his instant attraction and connection with Abbi and her daughter, Daisy was magnetic and meant-to-be. This is book four in the Wilds of Montana but can be read as a stand-alone.

Samantha Brentmoor and Zachary Webber perform this audiobook in dual narration, and this pairing embodies every single bit of Abbi and Brady. Samantha’s soothing, sultry voice added many layers to her performance of Abbi including her endearing mama bear moments, fragile vulnerabilities, and desires for Brady. Zachary’s warm mellow voice complemented Brady’s charismatic, protective, and attentive persona which was downright swoon-worthy. Both narrators have the most adorable kid voices and did a fantastic job with Daisy’s lively spirit. Plus, Samantha and Zachary created the perfect touch of longing, tension, and steam between Abbi and Brady.

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small-town romance with a hot hunky bull rider, a loyal loving single mom, a sweet upbeat little girl, a devoted family, daddy-daughter dances, close proximity, lingering kisses, pancakes and bacon, extravagant Christmas gifts, tragic pasts, cozy cabins, ranch life, movie night, steamy times, facing your past, and a HEA that will land on the wild side of your heart, then you will love Abbi and Brady’s story. I always look forward to more from Kristen Proby.
