Mecca and Major Holland are a young, married couple from New Jersey who have three kids under five and both work outside of the home. I really got into this book. Strawberry's advice was surprisingly on point, but let's be real, she's wild from start to finish. By the time I reached the end, I was so invested that I found myself ready to square up with her. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, but definitely worth the read.

Strawberry and her team need that Mike Tyson treatment. Major and Mecca are a married couple that truly loves each other but can't find balance between being parents to three girls and keeping their marriage together. Then there's Sienna and Savior the twins to Mecca and Major. They are attempting to do the same thing. Just so happen they have the same therapist, who turns out to be Wanda aka Strawberry. That whole hotel seen had my mouth on the floor. I can't wait to read part 2.

Ohhh I read until the end without putting it down longer than 10 minutes at a time (mad when I had to take those breaks due to life ughh). This is a fire rollercoaster ride of a story. It’s a must read and now I got to see what happens next.

the plot twist

I love the relationship that Major and Mecca have. The struggled to find your common ground after having kids and life changes. So after talking with family he decided on a therapist. The therapist was kicking good shit but baby the damn plot twist!

This book had a plot twist that I didn't see coming. I loved every minute of this book. I was laughing out loud from page one.. Mecca and Major were a good couple they just needed to learn how to listen to each other. Their marriage counselor helped them tremendously until she didn't. This author knows how to write a book full of laughs and add a plot twist that has you trying to figure out where that came from.
