A surprisingly good read. I didn’t expect much coming into it — there are free copies of this on Kieran’s webpage — but it turned out to be quite riveting. Kieran is a great essayist with a fine turn of phrase; the anthology is sprinkled with interesting sociological insights as well. For a light and easy read, it’s hard to ask for more.

I wouldn't really recommend it to anybody. There were some good things in it, but it didn't stand out in any respect. If you want sociology there are better books for that; if you want entertainment there are better books for that. I guess if you just really want to read more Healy than this book is a fine choice.
