STORY:
It’s rare when I have a strong dislike for a character to the point where I don’t even want to finish the book. I HATE MARCUS. I detest him with a passion. He rubbed me the wrong way in this story and Terri, smh, love just makes you blind. Marcus and Terri are married, and they have hit a bump in the road, thus starting this crazy drama that follows them.

No matter how I fell about the characters, I was still interested in the story to see how it will play out. I refuse to speak on Marcus, a piece of dog poop. Terri, I understood why she was trying to make it work and why it took her so long to move on. Her choices and thought really gets you riled up and you want to just shake her mercilessly. The first half of the book showcased the relationship between Marcus and Terri.

The second half of the book, we are watching Terri and her connection with Lorenzo. I could kick Terri, and shake her some more. She does finally come to her senses as she put, us, the reader through anxiety with her constant back and forth.

My reason for 3.85 without spoilers, I wanted to know how Marcus got busted on the information that he did. Who told? Secondly, I wasn’t fully satisfied with the ending. This story was dual POV with Terri and Marcus. However, I felt like what was discovered in the end, we needed one chapter at the end for Lorenzo’s POV explaining certain things regarding what was discussed towards the end. That ending felt like a mic drop walking away while screaming I need more give me more.

SEXUAL CHEMISTRY:
Sexual chemistry was satisfactory. Terri because unleashed. What a difference the right man can do.

SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
There were some interesting characters, but no one stood out whom I would want to see a book on.

OVERALL:
Like the story, the small plot twist but hate the male character. No, he isn’t the worst I have read, but in this storyline, hate him.

✰✰TRIGGERS: none

****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.

Great read, I can truly relate to the turmoil she struggled with within herself. Moving on is not easy but in the end it will bring happiness, understanding, inner peace and true fullness to your life.

Terri finds herself trapped in a loveless marriage. Will she remain by her husband's side..or will another sweep her off her feet?

Rating: 3.5

This was a good short read. However the conflict in the story could have been better. Was also hoping for more drama and suspense. I did enjoy some of the character interactions.

This book was filled with drama I didn't know I needed to read about.

From the moment I picked up the book, I knew I was going to be in for a good read. I had no idea how good a read it was going to be. It definitely keep me on the edge of my seat with wonder.

You read so many stories about the husbands cheating ways, how he turns it on the woman and tries to insinuate that his adultery was all her fault and by using all those hateful words, he traps her again.

Well, Terri wasn't having that. There was some times I had my doubts but my girl came through. I was so proud of her by the end of the book.

There was definitely a couple of twists to the story that made it even more interesting. I can't reveal what they are because you will just have to read the story to find out more. But I was not prepared for that epilogue and finding out the truth about what made him take a leap of faith and pursue Terri. In the end it all worked out and I'm so glad she didn't back down.

Terri really came through and gave hope to women out there that think they have to stay even though they know things still won't change. I understand where she was coming from when she couldn't decide what to do, but I'm so glad she took that leap of faith and made a better choice for her and her son.

This book was amazing! I didn't want it to end and the way it ended was PERFECT!

Devoted and neglected wife Terri has had it up to here with her husband Marcus hurtful antics. Despite how much she loves him she cant take his poor treatment of her a second longer. Their marital problems hit a new low when infidelity is discovered causing Terri to finally take the steps to rid herself of her husband for good. Just when she thinks she is done with the game of love a new player enters.

My Thoughts: I liked Terri. The way she handled herself came across how a real person would have dealt with the situation. I was proud of her for standing her ground and recognizing she deserved better. I did find myself becoming frustrated with her when she would double back on her feelings, but in reality- this is how most people are when their emotions are high. The twist and turns of the story were good, eager to see how this plays out. BTW- Marcus, is straight trash.

This is a great book karma came for Marcus big time and he got everything he deserved how do you leave your wife for somebody you don’t know but get mad at her when she won’t take you back. Terri was getting on my nerves with her i don’t know what to do attitude and being more concerned about what people would think of her instead of how she was feeling and what she wanted to do with her life. The ending left me wondering if Lorenzo was with Terri to get revenge on Marcus for what he did or if he really wanted to be with her.

Loved it

This is My first read by this Author I gave the book 4 stars because the book has some contradictions in it. The story line was good I felt like Marcus got exactly what he deserves Karma or God don’t like ugly. I was happy that Terri got her happy ever after.

This was an interesting read and I didn't know what to expect based on the title so it was a nice surprise once I read it.

Terri is a woman who is sick and tired of being sick and tired. Like most women, after the birth of a child and the weight gain, she feels unattractive. Her husband, Marcus does nothing to make her feel differently. He barely has sex with her. Since Marcus quits his job to manage a boy band, he travels a lot or so Terri thinks. Hmmm, imagine her surprise when she finds out Marcus has been creeping with a pretty young thing.

Feelings are hurt. Words are said. Revenge is sweet. What Terri does next will surprise everyone as the good girl turns bad and comes out on top or will she? Will Terri forgive Marcus? Will Marcus cut off his side chick to stay true to his vows?

I enjoyed this read but rated it 3 stars due to the numerous grammatical and spelling errors. If those are resolved, this will definitely be a 4 star read. This story has a great plot and character development. The author did a great job displaying the emotions of a woman scorned.
