Charla Taylor wants a fresh start. She finds a job as an in home care giver for an eccentric slightly nutty old man who is suffering form Alzheimer’s. he has one condition she must hold onto a letter and deliver it after he dies. It's a perfect fit for her and Jack her new employer. She works for him for two years watching him wither and eventually die.
He surprises her by leaving her his home on the lake. He also surprises her with a huge secret that has now come out in the open after she delivered the letter to one sexy irish bartender, Liam.
Liam, is shocked when he reads the letter this Jack wrote. It changes his life and pushes him into a dangerous world. He is one tough irishman who takes it all on and does it with tight abs and tattoos.
The story started out great, I was on the edge of my seat until after the letter was read. Everything was too easy. Insta-love, insta-luck, Insta-trust, Insta-family, Insta-resolution. Everything they tried, they succeeded at. Relationships that should takes years to develop took just handshake. I like more conflict, they should have to work at it. I enjoyed the characters and hope it slows down in the next books.

From Liam's book I'm pretty sure I'm going to be liking this series. I loved Liam he's just so sexy, "Charla," he whispered. "I'm going to kiss you." He's a gentleman (at certain times) "of course not," he replied. "Our first date will look nothing like this. I already have something in mind." He's also a great guy for making an ex-boyfriend jealous, but I also think he wasn't fooling around either, "just as he was about to pull away, he gently squeezed her a**, making a soft moan release from her lips. "You're driving me crazy, babe. Let's get out of here," he said loudly as he grabbed Charla's hand. "This place is filthy." I love when he gets all territorial it gives me goosebumps, "but you're my girl," he replied. "I'll meet you at the gym in fifteen minutes." I can't wait to see what the other books in the series are.

Charla Taylor was looking for a change when she took on the job of being an in-home caregiver to Jack, an older man with dementia. He’s filled with crazy stories that she assumes are fiction due to his Alzheimer’s. When he passes away two years later, one of his only requests was that she deliver a letter to a man named Liam Murphy. Little did she know that his request would change her life forever.
Liam Murphy is a bounty hunter by day, and a bartender by night. When Charla delivers the letter to him, it’s one that turns his world upside down and he enlists her help in uncovering the secrets that Jack was harboring. The only thing is, these secrets could very well cost them both their life.
I had a fairly difficult time really getting into this book. First and foremost, I am all about the buildup between characters, which this story seemed to lack. No, really. After the first day of meeting Liam, Charla is already telling herself not to fall in love with him. And on the second day, he’s telling her that he’s in it for the long game.
"I want to know every single inch of this body. I want to know what’s in your head. I want to know what you’re feeling. I want to know what you want."
That’s the day after they met each other. Seriously? No real chemistry, no buildup, and an insta-relationship style read. Well then. Not my cup of tea, but maybe I’m in the minority.
This book also deals with Mafia connections and story lines that I was unable to find believable due to the fact that this Mafia seemed to be more talk than they were action. Maybe it’s from all of those movies that I've seen, but I’m under the assumption that the Mafia doesn't exactly play around.
All in all I would give this book 2 stars. It was a quick read and easy to follow, but it just wasn't for me. Please don’t let this discourage you giving this book a try. I am fully aware that I can be a bit pickier than most, which is why I stated the two key components that left me unable to connect to the story myself.

Liam is the first book in the branded brothers’ series and it is a contemporary romance novel with some suspense and mystery in the story. There is a reason that it is titled Branded Brothers but if I go into that, I will give away the whole plot of the book.
Charla Taylor has recently graduated from a nursing aide program and decides to answer an ad in the newspaper, from Jack, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s and looking for a live in caregiver. One of the conditions of taking the job is to deliver a letter to Liam Murphy upon the event of Jack’s death.
Liam Murphy owns a bar and is a bounty hunter. His life is pretty much set with running his business and going out on bounty runs to bring in the bad guys. It all changes the day he is given the letter from Charla. The letter contains information that Liam wants Charla to help him with and she agrees to help Liam with his search to solve the mystery that Jack has just sent him.
This one had a dangerous antagonist but his crimes and evil doing were kept off screen and the reader was not given any gory details about his actions. I enjoyed the introduction of the other characters in the story and hope to read their own story soon. The romance between Liam and Charla was sweet and easy going. There was not much conflict with the romance between the two characters. The main conflict in the book is solving the mystery that Jack opens up with his death and the letter.
I enjoyed this story. I usually go for more dark and gritty contemporary romantic suspense novels but I like this one. It definitely had elements to it that I like in contemporary stories.

I really enjoyed this novel, which for some reason I thought I wouldn't. Charla is an awesome character who I would love to meet in person. She is feisty and sweet and brave and loyal. I loved her with Jack. Most family members - blood-tied - wouldn't want to be with an old man with Alzheimer's, but Charla stuck with Jack for 2 years with this disease.
And I loved it when Charla tried to hard to convince herself that Liam was not the person she needed to be with, only to fall down that rabbit hole the next week. And I liked Liam too. He's pretty much everyone's fantasy in one body, making Charla's attempt not to fall for him hysterical.
This had just enough suspense and mystery in the story to keep the reader guessing, which was refreshing for a novel. I'm kicking myself because I didn't read this when it was still "advanced" part of the eARC, but I am glad that I got around to finally reading it. And I may even have to find the other novels in the series to see how the other brothers fall to the woman of their dreams :)

An Irish main hero, tattooed, with a military past - and two more brothers to come in the series? Color me impressed and willing to go!
Charla Taylor was content working for an old man until the end of his days - only, his end came sooner than she was ready for. Now she's left with a letter to pass on to his eldest son - who had no idea his father existed! Bar owner Liam Murphy had his life sorted out, but fate had other plans for him. Now he and Charla, while tugging at each other's heartstrings, have to fight to stay alive and uncover his father's secrets - all the while looking for his little brothers.
Good Lord, this was an awesome book! It strarted out pretty slow, and at first I thought this was just gonna be a contemporary romance, but oh boy was I wrong! And I loved being wrong in this case! The plot thickened as the story went on, and there were so many factors and so many secrets - damn Liam's father was sure an interesting fellow back in the day! Add a heavy dose of action and sexual tension, and you've got yourself a bomb ready to go BOOM and cover you with feels!
Liam was amazing! Every time he opened his mouth, I swooned. With almost every line that came from his mouth, I was like "Yeah, dude, keep destroying IRL guys for me, I mean, fuck, thank you, why not?!". It was that intense!
Charla was a bit too much at times - but given her background and her family, I had to see things from her point of view, and I couldn't really blame her. I loved how devoted and loyal she was, and her kindness never overshadowed her survival instincts. Girl was willing to help anyone who needed her help, but don't get her wrong - she'll take a swing with a baseball bat at you if you come at her!
Now I'm anxiously waiting for the next book in the series - and please tell me the "other son" will get his own bok, too! He was way too good-looking and fine to be left alone! Although, if I had to take a pick, I would choose Ronan any day of the week - dude does weird things to my undies with all this attitude he has going on, I tell ya!

Charla needed a location change after catching her fiancé cheating with a blond stripper! She had just completed a nurse’s aide program and was ready to accept an in-home caregiver position in the wilds of Illinois by Mud Lake. Charla would be caring for an elderly gentleman suffering from Alzheimer and continuing to work on her nursing degree.
“Someday you’re going to watch me die, Miss Charla. Probably sometime sooner than later,” he said, leaning over the rails.
For three years Charla cared for Jack and was with him when he took his last breath. During that time they developed a true friendship. Jack only asks that at his death she deliver a sealed letter to one Liam Murphy, then pack up everything, get rid of things and sell the cabin. Charla is surprised to learn that Jack left the cabin to her.
“The first thing I’m going to do is give you an envelope. I trust you, Charla, which means more than you’ll ever know. You see, I don’t trust anyone, not even myself.”
Charla delivers the letter to Liam at the Dirty Leprechaun which just so happens to be his bar. Liam is not only a bar owner but also a bounty hunter during the day. He is everything that she needs to stay away from. Charla does not know what is inside the envelope and doesn’t want to know if it has anything to do with Jack’s last ramblings especially the part about the Irish Mafia.
“What is it?” Liam picked up the envelope and studied the front inscription.
“I don’t know.” Charla dug in her purse to retrieve a ten dollar bill and threw it on the counter. “Whatever it is, good luck.”
“Good luck?”
Liam was in the Marines for six years and had been married to his childhood sweetheart for eight. When he came home from his last tour of duty his wife had filed for divorce. He was a one woman man and has been unable to move on past her betrayal. But Liam finds himself unable to forget the beautiful Charla. He tells her that Jack was his father and he has two brothers. Liam asks Charla to help him find his brothers and to uncover the reason why his father gave them away. He knows this will keep Charla close to him and the more time they spend together the more together they will be.
“So you’re interested?” she asked
“More than interested,” he replied, putting his hand on her lower back again. “Call me intrigued.”
Charla and Liam work together to locate his brothers and at the same time grow together and find peace in each other’s arms.

Would I recommend this book: Yes! This book has a hot ex-marine, bounty hunter, bartender that will give his all to one woman and our heroine is just the woman for this sexy man.
Would I read other books by this author: Yes! I would love to read about the other Branded Brothers’ and also check out some of her other books.

I picked this book up on NetGalley on a whim. The cover was pretty good, and the blurb sounded pretty damn good. By the time I finished the book, I was excited and eager for book two. I haven't really seen anything that says there will for sure be a book two, but I am crossing my fingers!
So this story starts out with Charla, who is a home nurse. She's just answered a newspaper ad put out by a man who meets her on the porch wearing cowboy boots and a bathrobe - his name is Jack. He hires her on the spot, and then chapter one brings us to the present. Anyway - back to Charla. She's pretty okay. She's not my favorite heroine, but she isn't the worst. She's a strong woman with a douchey ex in her past, and you know how that goes. She's working on herself, which is all well and good until Liam steps into play.
Now Liam, Liam I liked. Bartender slash bounty hunter slash all around good guy. He's ex military and he likes life with a bit of an edge. He's definitely likable as a character, and by the end of the book I was hooked on him.
This book had a bit of the instant chemistry going on in the beginning, and it felt like it was more a part of the "formula" than something that was actually happening. In fact, there were times that I felt Liam and Charla didn't get along at all, even without any chemistry. And then the next moment they were very into each other. But whatever, it didn't kill the story for me. And actually, as the book goes on, things did begin to gel a bit more, and I was impressed.
So anyways, Jack wants Charla to deliver a letter upon his death to Liam. And that sparks off a ton of events that involve the mafia, lies, and a lot of action. The story moved quick and was exciting. I don't generally read mafia related books, but lately it seems I've been totally into the Irish and mafia. Go figure.
I love the way that family threads it's way through the entire story. Just when you think you've seen it all, here's another branch on the tree. And the Irish heritage that binds the guys together plays out very well. There is one character in the story, who shall remain nameless at this point, who just kind of took off at the end of the book. He's the reason I am hoping for another book. It just felt... I don't know, swept under the rug and not really handled well.
Anyhow - this book definitely has some different twists, and I would recommend it for a quick read!

Stop what you're doing. This book has an Irishman, a nurse and a bar in it. I'm currently formulating a joke. We may be an Englishman and a Scot shy of a good one though. I'll let you know how I go. But never mind that... Joke potential aside, Liam: Branded Brothers was a really good, suspenseful book. I read it alone, at night. Perhaps NOT my best idea. Surely that's the mark of a well written suspense though - it makes a grown woman check under her bed before she climbs out for a mad dash in the dark to the bathroom. No? *hangs head in embarrassment*
Charla Taylor was wanting to get away from life when she agreed to work for Jack, an early-onset Alzheimer's patient, at his secluded cabin away from pretty much everything. Her fiancé was caught with a blonde and she's still a little scarred from her less than stellar childhood. When Jack gives her an envelope to be delivered to Liam Murphy upon his death, she agrees to make the delivery, not realising it's going to involve her in a search that places her in danger - and in the sights of a tattooed Irish bar owner/bounty hunter.
Liam, a former Marine and deceptively good guy (despite his outward appearance), still misses the ex-wife that walked out a couple of years ago. Then Charla walks in to his bar and hands him the life-changing letter. The attraction only grows as they delve deeper into Jack's past and work together to solve the mystery of the letter.
I loved Liam - the book and the character. He's not what I (or Charla) was expecting. He's missing the asshole element that so many romance novel alpha males have. I'm glad of that - I'm honestly a little tired of the 'I'm only kind, nice and loving to you' hero that thinks it's ok to be a bastard to everyone but their woman.
The book itself was well written, the mystery and suspense interesting enough to keep me involved to the end. The chemistry between Charla and Liam was believable. They're both still hurting from previous relationships and a little cautious but it's easy to see that they're a match. The secondary characters - Ronan, in particular - are a nice addition and a great starting point for another book.
Liam: Branded Brothers was written to introduce a series and I, for one, would definitely be interested in seeing more from these Irishmen. No joke. This is a standalone book, no cliffhanger. ~ Beth, 4.5 stars

Raen Smith is a writer which I discovered recently and adored her NA's series. She knew how to astonish me again with another genre: a romantic suspense. Charla is an young woman full of life, dynamic with a gold heart and that despite every treasons which she lived, in spite of a complicated childhood and well too quickly last. She tries to make a fresh start, but her meeting with a man like Liam, will hustle her life. She will discovered new qualities and for once not follow her lists, to be egoistic and determined. She is a woman stronger than what she thinks of herself and that we appreciates easily.
Liam in the other side, even with his bad boy's looks, is the type of men which we likes to fall in love. Virile, tattooed, sure of himself, honest and have two works which make dream the young ladies: barman and bounty hunter. And if it's not sufficient for the fantasize's side, he is an ex-navy divorced in need of love. Although stereotyped and too unreal, we can only adore him, stick to him. I find it too bad that there weren't more scenes from his point of view in order to know him better.
Each character is in his place, having an impact on the evolution of the intrigue. The research about Jack's past, his link with Liam and the search of the brothers are done rather quickly, but it is spread out well, with various layers of suspense and mysteries. There are some bounces that are welcome and completely unexpected. In no-claims bonus we nevertheless follows the lovestory between Liam and Charla, which is perhaps too fast, all occurs in only one week. The erotic scenes aren't too many, are well suggested and do not hide the essence of the story.
Liam: Branded Brothers is a romance which rather convinced me, carried out well by the writer in spite of the speed of the story. Love, sex, mysteries, treason, handling, murder, all that is concentrated on some pages and it's a true pleasure. I recommend it if you have the opportunity, you will have a good reading time.

Jack, the man Charla was taking care of, entrusted her to deliver a letter to a man named Liam Murphy. She is not comfortable doing it, but she never made a promise she didn't keep and that is how she finds herself face-to-face with the sexy Irish man across the bar top from her.
From the very beginning, Raen Smith draws the reader into the story by having us meet Charla. With her determination and her attitude as she first met Jack, I knew I was going to like her and I was not disappointed. And Liam? Well, he was full of surprises. I loved his take-charge side just as much as his tender one. A well-balanced man, indeed!
I enjoyed how the author brought Liam and Charla together and how she brought their connection to the page through the use of flirty dialogue, entertaining banter and intimate moments. I loved the fact that both had been burned before and that despite their doubts and hesitations they allowed themselves to explore what was growing between them. Mostly I enjoyed the fact that their coming together didn't feel rushed. Yes, their connection was immediate, but the events that were thrown into the mix throughout the story only helped to deepen that connection so it felt natural when they did come together.
I was intrigued by who I would be meeting next and although I found it a bit too convenient that some key players were so easily found, I came to overlook it because the conflict as a whole more than made up for any doubts I had in that regard. The plot was interesting too, which added to my enjoyment of the story. My only complaint if that the pace felt a bit rushed in regards to how the resolution to the conflict came to be. Hopefully, in the installments to come the mystery/plot could be delved into a bit more right along with any romance that's in the works for the others.
All in all, a great start to a new series with a brooding yet caring alpha-male, a feisty heroine and an intriguing plot plus a couple of secondary characters that I can't wait to get to know!

This Branded Brothers book is a riveting romance that keeps the reader on the edge of anticipation. Caregiver, Charla Taylor is charged with delivering a letter to Liam Murphy, she intends to deliver it and move on. Liam has a problem with that, the letter turns his world upside down and the Irish bounty hunter drags her deeper into her patient’s troubled past. Just as she opening her heart, her life teeters on a dangerous edge and only one man can save her.
This fast paced plot keeps the reader on their toes with suspense, some action, drama and romance. The author uses well written scenes and events to capture the imagination and make the reader feel as if they are part of the story. The strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning. Spine tingling anticipation builds as the Charla and Liam try to solve the mystery of her patient’s past which is a good thing because danger is on its way.
The attraction between Charla and Liam radiates heat from every page and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, but the relationship will take some work. The reader can’t help but get caught up in their stories as Charla been burned by an ex-fiance and Liam’s been seriously hurt by his ex-wife. But as the two work together, they find their attraction might be something worth taking a chance on if they can stay alive long enough.
The author has created a wonderful romance with danger, mystery and romance that keeps the reader turning the pages. The search for Liam’s brothers who also bear a mysterious Celtic tattoo adds spice and depth to the story. Overall, I found the story to enjoyable and entertaining and I can’t wait to read more of the Branded Brothers stories.

An author new to me plus the first book in a new series = fun :-) This is a romantic suspense, and certainly has some sensual, steamy heat in it. I love that first sizzle of attraction, and when Liam said “ Charla, I'm going to kiss you now” I melted....He's such a conundrum, he's tattooed, a big, well built man, Bounty Hunter, ex Services and owns a bar – sounds like a real toughie and yet when it comes to Charla he's so gentle, so careful and protective of her. They made a perfect match.
Poor Charla, used and abused by her ex, brought up by an alcoholic mum, with a series of weird boyfriends she's learned that the only person she can rely on is herself. She's slow to trust and yet something about Liam draws her in. She's charged with giving him a letter after the patient she's been living with dies. And it brings along some big changes, some adventure and mysteries and some very real dangers to her and Liam.
There's so much comes out once that letter opens, and its hard to review without giving too much away. Lets stick at telling that the letter says Liam has brothers, and once he and Charla get to tracking them down more secrets get revealed, leading to more danger for them all. I'm expecting the next books will be about the other brothers? – I hope so, and I hope we get to see more of Charla and Liam.
Its a great mix of mystery and suspense, wrapped up in a couple that find romance and have some sexy and sensual encounters! It's priced at £2.45 for 196 pages.
Stars: Four. I enjoyed this, and found the suspense/romance mix was just right for me.

I enjoyed this one. The synopsis grabbed my attention, and then the book held it. I love a little bit of mystery when reading romance novels. When you read so many books a week it is nice to read something different. Charla is a strong female and I especially enjoyed that, after reading so many books about broken females. Her life has been anything but butterflies and rainbows. After taking care of a man with Alzheimer's for several years, she's given one instruction to carry out upon his death: to deliver a letter to a man named Liam Murphy. Liam Murphy is a fine specimen of a man. Charla's first impression of him is not at all the type of man he is. Liam is kind and caring and isn't the man whore she expected. When the two of them join up to unravel the mystery, things heat up between them. I liked the story but I think it fell just short of being amazing. The character development was good but I wanted a little more to the plot. Not everything added up to me. Even though it is a book some of it seemed a little far fetched. Overall, I feel like it is a good start to a series and I look forward to reading about the other characters.

Charla was running away from her life when she happened upon an add for a caregiver to a man with Alzheimer. She was hired immediately and given a letter to hold onto until his death. Threer years later she was sitting in a bar with that letter in her hand giving it to Liam Murphy. Now that her job was complete she could move onto the next phase of her life....or could she? Liam had other plans for her and they were not to let her go. She was not only going to help him solve the puzzle that the letter left but she was going to help him heal both of their hearts.
Although this was a short novel it packed a punch. The author is a fabulous writer. I was kept highly entertained and could not put the book down until it was finished.
With all that said, it was very predictable and the characters did not really stand out for me. They were not written bad by any means but they did not have pizzazz. The plot was sorted out too quick and I think the author needed to write this book with a little more length and detail.

I have to say I got into the book. I received this a few months ago but was afraid to read it. Seriously I just had other books that just came before it. I can't help it...however I'm happy I picked it up last night.
Liam Murphy is a bounty hunter by day and a bartender/owner/cook by night. He is tattooed and hot.
Charla Taylor is a girl with a broken past and wants a fresh start. Answering an ad in the paper she gets a job as a care giver for an older man who leaves her with one task..when he dies deliver a letter to Liam.
My only complaint is the build up. It sorta felt unreal. Granted when I first met my husband it was just there. But when your reading you need something....Day 1 they meet and are attracted...the next day shes making a note dont fall in love with him. then he's saying he's going to be there for a long time. Uhm the dont fall in love i can get but i just felt like it was lacking...but i guess when you know you know right ? It was a pretty good book. Action, a little mystery, and sex.

Well written with a few editing issues. This is a stand-alone book with no cliffhanger, although the stage is set for additional books in the series.
This story had a number of familiar themes but managed to weave them all together in a fresh way to make this a suspenseful, romantic story. There is some heat between the two main characters, but those scenes are secondary to the suspense in the plot.
The male lead is a sentimental, patriotic, tattooed, super hot guy who does it all. He tends bar by day, bounty hunts at night, and can cook dinner and breakfast. What's not to love?
The female lead is sassy, capable and an educated professional woman with a rough background and a few trust issues. Along with a cast of well-developed supporting characters, the dialog is entertaining and snappy and the plot pulls you along until the very end.
I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series. I'm not sure who will be featured, but I'm pulling for Declan!
Recommended for fans of romantic suspense. . . and hot tattooed guys.

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I found it to be fantastic. It was filled with a great plot, likable characters and just the right amount of sexiness. Charla and Liam are one of my favorite book couples. Charla is strong and brave. She has been through a lot but has never given up. Liam is absolute perfection. He is sexy, romantic and sweet. But sweet can also be sexy as in Liam and Charla’s case. I liked the fact that this book had a little bit of mystery and the unexpected to it. It wasn’t a story of they meet, fall in love, the end. There is a depth and a richness to the plot. You can see the character growth of both Liam and Charla. This is not a dull couple and definitely not a dull story. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Raen Smith did a fabulous job of creating an addictive read with Liam.

The coolest part of this book…Is Charla is from a small town in IL, Hudson. Which I grew up only 15 minutes away from there. :) I had a small book nerd moment when I read that.
I really enjoyed the story and the story line; but the love story part was insta and it sorta turned me off. They were basically committing to one another after a few days, and they had both came out of terrible relationships prior to meeting each other.
Liam was sexy, has tattoo’s, owns a bar and is a bounty hunter…He is a total badass. Charla is strong heroine and I enjoyed reading her story.
I look forward to more books in this serious and from this author. I recommend it to anyone that enjoys contemporary romance novels with a bit of irish mafia mystery.

I absolutely loved the beginning of this book. What a way to meet someone! Charla was given a letter to hand off to a hot, tattooed, muscled up bounty hunter/bar owner. Sign me up to become a mail carrier!
The letter unlocks all this information about Liam's past and Charla is there helping him put the pieces together. Who wouldn't though? The plot develops and intertwines all these previously unknown people to form a deep connection.
I thought the book was well written and the story line unravels to make a perfect ending. I read this in a day and a half(I have to work sometimes!). I never lost interest, which is really good since I have a attention span of a goldfish lately.

Liam is sexy...bar owner/bounty hunter? Yes, please! Their chemistry was good but somewhat fast paced. I would have preferred a little more buildup in their relationship. Some of the suspense elements were a little predicable but others were not. There was a great balance of romance and suspense.
It is told in third person and there is no cliffhanger. However, there is definitely unresolved issues for another book. I would love to read more!
I recommend this book to any romance/suspense fan!

that was told a little bit (Liam is heartbroken and was told she was remarried)
and i just wished we would have seen him put together with Charla and

I really enjoyed this book. It wasn’t all that long so I read it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. The connection between Liam and Charla is immediate. I will say some of it moved pretty fast romance-wise but it was still very interesting. It was not what I expected since I thought each brother would be discovered as the series progressed.
There is no real suspense to it but it is a very adventurous story. And a very enjoyable read.

I was not expecting this book to captivate me so much. I was thrilled it did however. Charla is a great character. She has a troubled past that she is running from but then she meets Jack. Jack changes her life! Charla is thrown into a world of chaos and it all starts with a letter.
Liam is one sexy bartender. His past is just as troubled as Charla's. Together they go on a journey that has mystery, love, fear and pain. Its quite the read. I couldn't put the book down. I can't wait to read more about these characters. Liam and his brothers seem like tons of fun.

This was a quick, easy read, which I very much appreciated. Sometimes it went a little too quick that I was unsure of the timeline, but other than that, I enjoyed the storyline and it kept me wanting to read more. I really enjoyed Charla's and Liam's characters. Overall, a good, quick, entertaining read!

Charla and Liam have great chemistry that can not be ignored, even if they try to. The suspense in this story keeps you turning the pages and staying up late to finish the book. I can't wait to read the other books in this series!

Such an intriguing story with Mobsters, Alpha Males and suspense. Loved how the author integrated so many different personalities into the story telling. Will look for more from her in the future.....
