We all need heroes to personify our dreams and inspire our lives. Abel Torres, son of a Black mother and an illegal immigrant father, is just such a hero. In confronting the challenges and mores and judgments of American culture, and his many personal crises of conscience, he reaches for the ultimate American dream, emerging as a hero to us and best of all, to himself. Courage, conscience, honor, patriotism, not to mention an Andrea Bocelli-like singing voice, it all comes together in this highly entertaining and uplifting story. Bravo!

Breezy, fun, and fast-paced. Deliciously sarcastic, yet romantic and tense all at once. So many favorite characters, I couldn't decide who I wanted Abel Torres to end up with!
Most of all, Copperhead is so far out of the mold that I never once groaned, "this again..." as I do with so much m/m fiction. Good job,

Copperhead is the author's third novel and I have to say, his writing style and storytelling gets better with each book!
This is a great read, hard to put down, keeping me up late. Lots of action and adventure and of course, a bit of romance making for a very entertaining escape. Copperhead, or actually Abel Torres, is a compassionate and outstanding singer...and sexy to say the least. I highly recommend the book.

The wealthy host offers to connect him with rich gay men who would pay handsomely for his attention. Battling his conscience and pride, he accepts the offer.

Just as exciting and suspenseful as the first book.
This book is just as good as the first one. It held my interest, and I couldn't put it down. Abel and Zach have had their share of problems and have struggled to remain calm. When fame hits, they try their best to remain normal. What they possess is love, and that will pull them through any hardships.
