much better but still misses.
This book had some really strong scenes. Hot sex. The first scene with Adam was especially good. It had great sex descriptions. It had the turmoil and heartbreak. It had her falling in love with Adam. It had him leading Becky to a private room that Cam couldn’t get to.
But still left gaping holes that could have been filled and rocked this story. What were Red Head and Surfer Dud arguing about. What were Read Head and Adam discussing and arguing about. What happened to Adam.
The issue with Adam stopped to quickly. There should have been more back and forth after the discovery. Red Head should have been dealt with. Adam should have paid a price.
I was really thinking that I wasn’t going to like Becky again when she started with Adam but at least she recognized what she had done and apologized. This is a great example of why cheaters should get another chance. Emotions can overwhelm them and they do stupid stuff. Becky handled that about as well as she could. She saw what she had right in front of her.
The pregnancy issue was obviously on the table due to the interaction with Santa but just completely ignored with Adam. Another hole left wide open.
I hope that we will get another round of Clarence coming after them. The ending was a great set up. Also, need to see more interaction with the Ramses. All coming together in the same room would lead to some great story telling. Ed, Martha, Cam, Becky, Teddy, Jean, and Cate would make for an interesting scene.

The plot could not twist tighter!
Although this is part 2 of a wonderful series, this part was as if not more enjoyable!
The level of depth this volume gets will make you wish it were a three parter! I love a couple like this where the stakes are so high because they truly love each other. Without that who cares if they are in danger of losing each other. The stakes in this book are huge! ML makes you feel it!
If you read part 1, and you better read it because it was super juicy, then you know that Becky and Cam get up to some crazy, sexy games with friends and workmates. This book takes that up, a few notches. No spoilers. But a worth while ride, to say the least.
I can't wait to see what else ML writes next!

a great two books well worth the read
