A girl named Miu stumbles upon a mysterious pawn shop. Here, the only item for trade is time itself. Everyone always searches for extra time, but are they willing to exchange something that is more valuable and irreplaceable -- their most precious memories? These memories could be wiped out forever if the borrowed time is not returned. Tokiya, the shop owner, recruits Miu to work part time as a "Time Mediator." Her new boss is sweet, but he has his own motives regarding the time he trades. And Miu must always remember the most important rule: never speak of the shop to anyone.
A high school girl accidentally (or is it?) stumbles upon a shop that lends out extra time. You know, for those too-busy days when you need to be two places at once. Customers can pay either with valuable memories or returning more time later. The mechanisms and economics aren't very clear yet, nor do we know why the talking frog works there. I expect we'll find out eventually. This wasn't great, but it was pleasant and harmless, and I'll probably get the next book to see what is revealed.
This was a fantastic graphic novel. It explores the idea of time travel. Going back to specific time in some one's life whether that just be minutes, hours, or days. Would you if you could jump back to a certain time period in your life?
In the story Miu stumbles upon a secret pawn time shop where time can be loaned to anyone who requests it or needs it. In order for time to be loaned to the customer, the only down fall is the customer has to give up one of their past memories. Uncovering how precious time is, Miu unexpectedly gets hired to work in the time shop. She becomes the helper to help people manage their time. This story helps bring your imagination alive. This book was cleverly written and full of an astounding adventure back and forth through time.
I highly recommend this graphic novel if you are simply looking for a quick read and an escape from reality.
I liked this book because it was mysterious at the beginning and got more and more interesting as I kept reading this was also a very unique book because of it was printed in japan so you read the book backward it was something new and confusing to learn but it was fun learning a new way to read.
Kinda boring, fell asleep from reading this book but, it's interesting. There is this girl name Miu. Miu was just walking to school but, her watch wasn't working, while walking she saw a frog statue, a little frog jumped out and was she following the frog and end up in a clock shop. She got hired in the clock shop and work. As she worked, her manager, Tokiya gave her a watch that will save the people. She goes back to time and save the people by death or things they have been through. She does the casual stuffs like saving people but, met a boy, Takumi. Takumi was shy to show the flyer to his parents, but Miu told him that he can do it. He showed and they started their play as a mouse. As they did, Miu told the parents about Takumi and the parents appreciated it and left. Next morning, Miu went to her work place and Takumi popped out and hugged Miu. Then, Takumi left the shop and Miu and the frog were talking about the stage.
Ohmigoodness! I loved this so much! I thought that it'd just be an average shojo/fantasy manga, but it defiantly exceeded these expectations. It has great themes and is vaguely reminiscent of an episode of Doctor Who.
*spoiler* ish... As a student somewhat invested in dramatics, I LOVED the last two chapters. What the guy said about how he can't explain why he loves drama, he has to show it is so true! I can't wait to read volume two!!!!!
This is yet another good japanese comic series. this story revolves around miu a young girl who stumbles upon a pawn shop that lends time to people. she is granted a job at the pawn shop and she is known as the go between, this means she helps customers use there time wisely. (Sadly you cannot read this on Onemanga.com)
I don't think so about time like magic and they don't know what happen when if use time like stopping, rest time, see happen, twining, and in future just my guess then that girl her name Miu may work part-work and save people kind of time hero.
i was very amazed how this book really explained why it was so important for the people who needed to borrow time and how it would effect their lives to change what they always wanted to change since they were little kids
I read this and It about a girl Miu and she find this time shop. This shop give time to people who neads it. The priess is a memories. That can gone fover.
I really enjoyed this story. Miu has well-written character development, going from a little irritation to knowing what power she possesses and how she can make people have a better experience with the time they've traded. She works at a shop where time is loaned to those who need it, but in exchange they lose a memory, no matter how much it means to them. Miu is chosen by the go-between's timepiece to become the go-between, a person who tries to help others have a better experience with their time so they will come back again. Overall, this story is great.
I have been looking for this manga in so long because I have lost the name of Its title. It took me years to remember what it was about and Google searching it to make sense of it. I can't wait to reread and finish reading it's series.
