I am Monster Slayer Fifth Class, Baron Alexander Galaxius. I’m still a baron with no barony, lands or family ring.
Just like my past life, this one hasn’t given me anything on a silver platter. I’ll have to use my own strength to create the world I need. Once more...
Considering this book is not KU and cost more than I felt it should, the ending sucks. It ends at what feels like the middle of the final battle. Nothing is resolved in the book. It has no internal arc. I really like the story, but I dinged it for both price and ending.
On a side note, it is also disappointing that the future books are listed but come out in the future. I grabbed the first of this and the healer series because I thought there was already three books out, only to discover at the end that the next book is months out.
I liked the beginning story for originality and uncommon I dislike the ending cliff hangers Which is a very common ploy that went out of style The story is missing minute details That give continuity This story could be so much better It currently not worth the price
Predominantly written for men. The main character is very sexist. Has very traditional views for women, e.i, home making and sex. The MC has a flaw with his power that it makes him "excited." No graphic sex scenes. It was kept tasteful while giving me a good chuckle.
I felt the authors didn't stick to the story well. There were a few contradicting points in the timeline (mainly how everyone is classified) and character progression. I listen to it twice, and I can not recall where the MC finds out that his friend is the Count. It's just mentioned in a conflict and accepted as fact.
Overall... I love the smart-ass characters and the witty come backs, the author delivered attitude in spades. I enjoyed the first two books and will finish what is published so far. I may not remember the books if anymore come out after the 4th. (The 5th is not yet available on audible)

Hunter's Code I received a review copy of this book. Book 2 is exactly what you would expect after reading the first one. Our main character hits more rifts, tangles with organized crime, makes a few enemies, makes a few friends, regains lost possessions, and much much more. Oh, so much more. If you're looking for an action based LitRPG series, this is the one.
This is a story translated from Russian. Overall I thought the translation was done well with only limited errors with the editing process. I like the story as the protagonist is a reincarnated soul who was powerful but is somewhat limited in his current guise. I look forward to further iterations.
The strength of a series is always in the second book. The first can leave you wanting more but the second, to me, is where you decide if you are in it all the way.
Our leading man is still a bit too juvenile for my taste but there’s no doubt he’s creative and powerful enough with a fairly unique primary skill.
is a series that I get an ARC of. I check the translation from Russian to English. This is one of the stories that once I finish, I'm looking forward to getting the next ARC in the series. It's just a fun read for me.
8/10 The reviews of the rest of this series will show the same review. I'm trying to help out authors by putting up reviews for the ARCs that have been sent to me.
Inconsistencies of various types are too numerous. Quality is slightly better than the other stories that I have read by this author, thus the 3/5 rating from me.
That said I found it disappointing for I do not see a reason for putting out low quality product when the author being capable of doing better seems obvious.
Really interesting. Innovative world building. Alexander is growing on me. Anna is an enigma. Action! Adventure! In this book Alexander finally crosses paths with King. I thought it was going to be a slaughter but it turns out to be a game of chess! Almost. I’m glad I continued reading this series.
These authors are on a roll second book from them I finished in as many days. Great MC with a fun power set. A lot more noble interactions and hints of what’s to come in the future in regards to his noble status and standing. Still plenty of action inside of rifts and out.
A nonstop roller coaster of action and intrigue. Our poor count is being targeted by many criminal and aristocratic forces from the shadows, while he is still growing in strength.
Alexander has established himself as a slayer and along with Shnoop and Caramel he is working hard to make as many enemies as possible , gangsters , crooked nobles or corrupt politicians he doesn't care , great follow up to book one and equally enjoyable.
Great second book in the series. Action packed cocky MC and his companions. Carmel and snoop are great additions. I laugh every time snoop says "want?". The story moves fast with several subplots and progression of the main plot. I am looking forward to the next book in the series
This book was almost all action with a lot of challenges and detailed strategies. Enemies are coming out of the woodwork and launching schemes and attacks.
Action! That is what is in this book. We have Rift action and then we have mobsters and police shakedowns. The main character is strong and I really enjoyed this book. Loving this series so far!
Very entertaining and humorous. The two authors became my new favourite authors after Joe Abercrombie last series got really cringe.
I like that the story is very stream-lined and that the authors don't constantly hold the hands of the readers. The personality of the protagonist is " special" but likeable as he has somehow "earned" his behaviour. Shnoop is the best, of course!
I am enjoying the 2nd book in this series and find the action and adventure very captivating. I like the way the magic system progresses and how the MCs system tends to be different than everyone else’s because he is a reincarnation. He is strong but he also has a sense of humor where he doesn’t take himself or anyone else too seriously which can bring additional entertainment to the storyline.
