La novela está muy bien construida.Tiene una estructura criminal coherente, unos personajes que le dan sentido a la trama y unos tropes que te hacen querer leer más.

En esta ocasión, Niko y Elena se enfrentan a emociones que no habían experimentado con anterioridad y, aunque ambos tienen claro sus respectivos objetivos, los dos sucumbirán a lo que les tiene preparado el destino.

Es una novela que se lee muy rápido, adictiva y con algunas frases que te dejan muy buen sabor de boca. No es una novela en exceso gráfica y eso ayuda a engancharte. Ligera, trepidante y sin pausas innecesarias, El soldado de la muerte es una lectura recomendable.

Actually pretty good

As far as mafia romances go. He's a brutal killer and she is trying to escape an arranged marriage when she sells herself at an auction but two months later they meet again at her unwanted wedding. He kidnaps her and takes her with him. He sees who she is and while not falling right in love, they do have wild.monkey sex and then their is a war. I loved how he called her 'mine'. And the burn the world down quote made me swoon! Lol

Es una narrativa fácil de leer y seguir.
Puede parecer súper rápido todo lo que sucede, pero para mi está todo bien construido y tiene una secuencia en cada momento.

Niko y Elena se conocen de una manera muy interesante, donde el paga por ella una cantidad 🤯

Elena está cansa de hacer lo que sus padres dicen y quiere huir y hacer otra vida, pero nunca pensó que se toparía con el Don de una de las mafias y todo daría un giro de 180 grados.

En esta misma historia vemos cómo se desarrollan otras dos mas y me gustaría leer sobre ellas.

De igual manera me gustaría saber que más pasa con Niko y Elena con respecto al “asunto” que les queda pendiente.

Como dije es una historia fácil y rápida de leer, sin muchas complicaciones.

Their Destined Forever -
OMFG! I must warn anyone who wants to read this amazing book, to ensure they carve out six hours where there would be no interruptions, open a bottle of wine, switch off every phone in your home, draw the curtains close and relax on the couch, before you start reading this book. I feel like I have just taken a ride on Kingda Ka rollercoaster and I need to find a way for my heart to start beating normally. I went through a myriad of emotions as I turned the pages, but I was happy when I reached the end and discovered they found the happiness together they both deserved. This story was truly incredible to read and filled with plenty of steam. This book definitely deserves the five star rating and I would definitely recommend.

No lean esto en español. Es más, no sé si es recomendable leerlo en inglés.

Tiene una pésima traducción y mi mente se perdió tratando de adivinar que quería decir y quién en cada diálogo, a parte de los muchos errores gramaticales que tiene.

Siendo honesta, no sé si leeré las siguientes de esta serie. La historia tiene potencial, posee todos los elementos para ser un cliché entretenido, pero la mala traducción lo enturbia todo.

The plot is so fast and the fmc doesn’t have any personality “ mmc humiliated her many times and guess what she goes after him literally in the book there’s no groveling when he breaks her heart !!!!!! And there are things in the book aren’t clear like the Elena got kidnapped and then she shots the kidnapper , Niko finds her she comes to his home the doctor comes and does an ultrasound all of this in the same day !! And the first time the doctor came to check in her at Nikos home which is guarded (as he claims) he tells her about the twins in front of the maid , the maid doesn’t say anything to Niko !!! Like wtf ?? Isn’t he her boss and she’s loyal to him! Sorry 😞 but the author didn’t write a story thinking a normal person well enjoy reading it the events are stupid to be believed!!!!!!

Part of the Shadows of Redemption so make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Elana is such a sweetheart she will have you cheering her on hoping with her that she will get the chance to have control over her own decisions unfortunately true mafia style because she was born a girl she is nothing but a pawn to gain more power and being forced to marry whomever is chosen for her so she does the only thing she has control over is selling her v-card to raise money for her to escape so that is what she does but that one moment left her with a gift but her father finds out takes the money and arranges her marriage to Niko’s enemy. Niko sexy as all get out Don ruthless, dangerous on a good day, deadly every day, takes what he wants, when he wants and the night he bought a young lady at the auction he didn’t ever to expect to see her again but when he crashes a wedding to take out the man who killed his mother, his brother and kidnaps the bride not realizing he already knows her that just turns the rules of the game for him. The magnetic pull between them can’t be ignored yes he is a difficult man to be around but she sees parts of him that he keeps hidden and gives her the choice of whether she wants to stay or to go, she knows this decision will change her path so does she go or stay, if she leaves will her father try selling off to another bidder, will she gain the freedom she wants so badly or will she see she has that freedom already, will he show her that she means something to him, and can they navigate to have something more than freedom?

The book really picked up in the middle and had a very strong finish. I enjoyed it so much that I am reading the next one in line. If I could improve on it, I would have more "conversations" in the beginning. It was a bit slow to begin - glad I stuck with it - has the twist and turns toward the end had me well past my bedtime!

This is the first book I’ve read that combines romance and the mafia. Honestly, I was captivated. The story follows Elena, the daughter of a mafia leader. She is being forced to marry a man she doesn’t know —someone known for treating people badly— in order to unite two rival mafia families. That’s why the wedding is so important.

To escape this fate, Elena decides to auction off her virginity to the highest bidder and use the money to run away and start a new life. The man who pays for a night with her turns out to be incredibly attractive, and the chemistry between them is instant. But afterward, they go their separate ways.

The problem is that Elena’s father discovers the money and forces her to go through with the marriage. During the ceremony, she is kidnapped by the leader of a third mafia family, who refuses to allow the union of the other two factions. To both their surprise, this new mafia leader—known as The Soldier of Death—is the same man who once spent a night with Elena.

I must say, I loved the story. It has a powerful start, plenty of suspense, and complications that unfold naturally. Nothing feels forced. The attraction between lovers from rival families slightly recalls the concept of Romeo and Juliet. Yet both protagonists are daring and share a unique chemistry in a world full of danger and intrigue.

The only thing I didn’t like as much is that the characters tend to overexplain things. Since the narration alternates between both protagonists, we often see their thoughts and dialogue, which sometimes makes it feel repetitive. Still, I highly recommend The Soldier of Death—it’s a reminder that love can be found in the most unexpected places.

The only thing Elena wants is the ability to make her own choices, but in her world, she is little more than a pawn to be used however others see fit. Selling her virginity seems like a small price to pay for freedom. However, when all her plans are thwarted, the future looks bleak until she is kidnapped by the very man who took her innocence and left her with an accidental memento. Niko is a hard man to like, but given the kind of world he lives in that’s not hard to understand. “Il Soldata Della Morte” is certainly a man not afraid to live up to his name and there’s plenty of action to show it’s well deserved. Yet when Elena gets entangled in his plans of vengeance, Niko feels a stirring of something he’s never felt before. Though Niko treats Elena kindly, she is once again resigned to her fate, knowing it will be decided no matter what she wants. In many ways Elena seemed like a mouse, but when the mouse roared there was a flash of something more. I wish there had been more of that side of Elena evident in the book, like her sister Lucia, who I liked instantly. So, when Niko gives her the choice of whether she wants to stay or to go, she knows that her decision will shape the rest of her life.

Unknowingly Elena is the daughter of a Don with an arraigned marriage to a man who physically abuses women so this money Elena will allow her escape. When Elena’s world crumbles around her she finds herself pregnant, her father finds the money then getting kidnapped on her wedding day being forced into another gilded cage. Niko finds his hard shell soften around Elena and doesn’t understand it so he continues his goal of ending his enemies, one being Elena’s father. Elena knows she being used but finds herself seeing a different man than the one the Mafia world sees - The Solider of Death! When trouble comes to them Niko does what is necessary and finds a queen to stand by his side, Elena. These two are a power duo that will have the respect of his men and move forward to accomplish his goal of revenge. Elena is the daughter of a Dom and she wants out of this life, especially since she has been promised to another Don Son who is known for his cruelty. Her parents have already sold her sister off to another Don in Italy because she had the nerve to fall in love without their permission. Elena decides to sell her innocence so she can run. Niko sees her on the stage of his club and has to have her. What neither of them realizes is the connection they have to each other. He’s the enemy of her father, who killed Niko’s Mother and Brother. When Elena’s father finds her money he moves up the wedding, but Niko picks that day to kill the two Dons responsible for his family’s deaths. Instead he kidnaps the bride postponing his plans. Niko and Elena are both shocked to realize who the other is. The connection they both feel is unsettling for them both but the heart knows what it wants. There is a lot of danger, lack of communication and fear that keep them from admitting how they feel but eventually the pieces fall into place.

Mafia Romance

Niko and Elena were just what I needed in a mafia romance. Elena is to be sold to a ruthless and brutal man of her fathers choosing. Elena struggles with how she can avoid such a fate, but is met with an unusual plan to get the money she needs to flee. Her decision sets her in the path of Niko Leone - another boss. He gets under her skin and vice versa, but what neither know is that they'll be tethered whether they want it or not.

Unable to complete her plan, she's lead to the altar - only an uninvited guest crashes the unwanted nuptials and takes her in the process. That voice, she knows that voice. Imagine both their surprise when the stolen bride is the bossy virgin from 2 months ago and daughter of the man who had his family killed. Will Elena be a pawn or will Niko feel the thawing of his cold heart in his quest to avenge his family?

Niko and Elena bring heat, conflict, loyalty, and love in this book. A great quick read and I'm looking forward to Lucia's and Donovan.

Elena & Niko

Leider konnte mich diese Mafia Geschichte überhaupt nicht überzeugen. Es gibt hier eine wechselnde Erzählperspektive beider Protagonisten, allerdings ist der Schreibstil zäh.

Die Storyline fand ich als Idee gut, jedoch fand ich die Umsetzung schwach.
Es gab viel Action und besonders den Anfang und das ungewöhnliche aufeinandertreffen von Elena und Niko, sowie das zweite aufeinandertreffen der beiden fand ich sowohl unterhaltsam als auch spannend. Jedoch änderte es sich schnell und es gab nur emotionslose Gespräche, haufenweise Kämpfe und zu viel Geschehen, so dass man sich weniger auf die Charaktere bezogen hat.

Mich konnten sowohl Elena als auch Niko nicht überzeugen.
Elena war zwar recht trotzig und leicht kämpferisch, jedoch war mir auch viel zu naive für ihr aufwachsen in dieser Mafia Welt.
Niko hingegen war mir einfach zu eingebildet, arrogant und herzlos. Darum konnte ich ihm seine plötzliche Liebe zu Elena auch überhaupt nicht abnehmen.

Hätte mir mehr erwartet für eine solch interessante Idee.

Elena wants to escape from the marriage her mafia father is forcing her into. She auctions off her virginity to raise money for her to escape. Don Niko Leone buys her for the night and she raises enough money to escape, but her father finds it. However, Don Niko invades her wedding to kill the man who killed his mother and his brother. He decides to kidnap the cowering bride and doesn't realise that he already knows her until after he grabs her.

Now Elena doesn't know what is going to happen to her. Will Nico kill her for revenge?

I really liked Elena. She had never had any freedom or the chance to make any choices for herself. Now she has to try and convince Nico to give her some freedom.

I look forward to the next book in the series about her sister and Nico's second in command. This book doesn't have a cliffhanger.

I'm a big fan of dark mafia romance and this book is one of the best I've read in that genre for a long time. I loved Niko and Elena and liked how they didn't instantly fall for each other, even if the attraction was there from the start. Elena had some very understandable misgivings about being part of the mafia world and not having any control over her own life. It took a while, but Niko eventually realised that his treatment of her as a commodity was just as bad as how her father and the other men in her life treated her. His character demonstrated a decent amount of growth throughout the book. Elena also grew in confidence and I liked how even though she was innocent and afraid, she still had a backbone. Really fantastic book and I'm really looking forward to the next one in the series, featuring Donovan and Elena's sister Lucia.

Questo romanzo mi ha stupita, sì lui sembra il solito don mafioso e brutale, ma in realtà sotto questo aspetto ha un cuore tenero che cerca di preservare dal dolore, lei vuole solo essere libera e così sceglie di vendere la sua verginità per avere dei soldi per poter scappare, viene comprata dal proprietario del locale, un uomo bellissimo che la fa godere anche se prova dolore essendo la sua prima volta, dopo due mesi viene purtroppo scoperta da suo padre e così rinchiusa in camera fino al giorno del suo matrimonio con un don dalla reputazione tremenda, mentre è lì fa anche un test di gravidanza e scopre di aspettare un bambino, incredula e sotto shock cerca di trovare un modo per scappare, ma non c'è, il giorno del suo matrimonio Don Leone irrompe nella chiesa sparando e rapendola, più tardi lo riconoscerà come il proprietario del locale dove era andata, tra varie peripezie cominceranno a conoscersi ed amarsi.

I thought I was going to end up not liking it but the side characters were the ones that made me push through and both main characters became tolerable near the end.

Elena is trying to escape an arranged marriage her father had set up. In desperate need of money, she sell her virginity in an auction, not knowing the guy that bought her is a ruthless killer. Their encounter made Elena’s situation into more complicated when she found out she is pregnant. Two months later, before she could say her vows, her baby daddy crash her wedding and kidnapped her.

I noticed some writing and spelling errors but it wasn’t a lot. I didn’t like Niko at first but he grew on me as the story goes by, especially when he goes all caveman on Elena’s safety.
