This is the continuing story of Luca, the alphahole Mafia guy, and Emilia, the ex-detective, and navigating the aftermath of the cliffhanger in book 2.
What a great end to this three book story - thank you @missywalkerauthor for another fantastic read. I loved how the story of Luca and Emilia concluded - all the answers from the previous books cliff hangers were answered, and you still left links to more stories from other characters in the future. This story had passion, intrigue and interesting characters.

Emilia wakes up with no memory of her past, only to find herself entangled with a man who claims to be her lover but whom she suspects of being a murderer. As Emilia grapples with her instincts and conflicting feelings, she and Luca, her supposed companion, are forced to confront betrayal and deception that threaten to shatter their already fragile trust. With danger lurking around every corner, Emilia and Luca must untangle the web of lies surrounding them before it's too late.
I loved seeing these two grow to love again! The crazy twists and turn this took was so wild and I was totally not expecting it. All the needed questions were answered and I can't wait to see how the story goes from here. There was so much passion between Emilia and Luca which is so essential for a mafia romance in my opinion. Thank you Missy for this ARC and delivering an amazing book series.

The finale to Luca and Emilia's love story will break your heart in the beginning and put it all back together! Luca works to win Emilia's heart again and remind her of the strong connection, both physical and emotional, they have shared since they first set eyes on each other. Luca was so devastated as he struggled and fought for the love of his life, but Emilia always knew in her gut that there was something special about him. It just took her a while to figure it out. And those letters that Luca wrote to Emilia in the hospital..."I’m going to love you to my last breath and probably beyond then. Nothing will ever change that." Swoon!! ❤️

Wow great ending to the trilogy.
This third book was more about Emilia trying to get her memory back and Luca doing all he can to keep her safe and help her remember.
Their connection came through even though she wasn't remembering yet. But definite passion between the two was just as divine.
Another well written book and I can't wait for the next part of the series. The characters and the plot were so great and I highly recommend the series.

A great ending to the trilogy of Luca and Emilia love. Building their love and trust all over again was perfect. This love story keeps you reading with twist and turned. Contesting way to wrap up this romance but with a twist that I hope will lead to more. Thank you Missy for yet again a great read.

Hot damn!! I have been desperately waiting for the conclusion to Luca and Emilia … you had me sweating on this one!!
Even at 80% read, I wasn’t this was going to go where I needed it to go. Damn Missy you kept me guessing.

Missy is such an amazing author. This book didn't disappoint, so hard not to give anything away with this series In a review. Best option is to get hold of this series don't plan anything for a weekend and read.

Although my TBR pile is crying and every series has a million books and interconnected reading orders, I need the continuation or spinoff of this world. Three books was not enough, I need to know more about the other players in their world!

I enjoyed the third instalment of this series although it wasn’t my favourite of the three. It felt a little rushed but then again I’m also not a huge fan of the amnesia trope personally.
