Olivia Ward’s world was turned upside down the moment Alex Matlock walked through the door of her cupcake shop. And now their once-casual fling has turned into much more than either ever expected. When it comes to the game of love, they’re finding that the rules are never clear, especially when Alex comes face to face with his painful past and drags Olivia right into the middle of it all. But when Olivia denies them both the very thing that brought them together, will their new love prove to be enough? Or will it bring them crashing down?
Connections is the third and final installment of The Rebound Series.
Wow, talk about a disappointment. This is the final book in the series but it's a complete mess. It's rushed, there are too many loose ends and it leaves you wondering and saying, "Wait, WHAT? That's it?" You don't ever really find out WHY Alex and his father have the relationship they have. And the entire thing with Olivia's stalker was so rushed if you blinked you would completely miss it.
I really enjoyed the first book, the second was ok but I was really hoping the final book would be great. Such a disappointment.
I really enjoyed this series...the character's were awesome the only thing I wished is it would keep going I would love to know what happened to Olivia and Alex if they finally got married started a family and would like.to know what happened to the other characters also Luke,Caleb,Christie, and Adam ..even know this was first time read this author I will be looking for more titles she has done...
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
I loved the ending to the Alex and Olivia story. Just like with the other novellas the characters are likeable, flaws and all. Now to wipe my tears that this series is over and maybe we will see one with Luke or Caleb. Can't wait to see what the author writes next.
I did not enjoy this book as much as the others which sucks because I thought the others were really good. I didn't like that Livy gets a stalker it just seemed random and unnecessary to the story. This book could have focused on Alex healing the relationship with his parents or letting the baggage in his past go. I also would have like a better ending for the book.
I absolutely loved this trilogy. It was well written and I adored the characters. I had never read Emilia Winters before but I definitely will do so again when her next series Bay Boys is out on June 1st with Luke's story. Thankfully not long to wait.
[2.5 stars] series was overall okay, just wondering why did miles contacted olivia after he cheated and appeared at her door. if the author wants to portray a boyfriend who wants girlfriend back, it is not executed properly.
Everything comes together in this book. We learn more about Alex and his family drama. I love how Olivia sticks by him through this drama. It was a great ending to a good series.
