My twin brother and I have gotten ourselves into a lot of messes growing up. We would constantly switch places to escape consequences while protecting each other at every cost.
But sleeping with Ben’s professor is a whole new level of mess, because there’s something Jonah doesn’t know. He might have been Ben’s professor last semester, but the person he was lecturing wasn’t Ben. It was me.
JONAH
From the moment I meet Emmett, I know he looks familiar but I can’t pinpoint where from. It’s not until I see his twin brother in the quad that I put two and two together.
Dating the sibling of one of my ex-students isn’t a huge problem for me, but I can’t help thinking the twins are hiding something.
The more time I spend with Emmett, the more I fall for him, but as my insecurity grows, so does my worry that I’m being played.
When my heart and my gut tell me two different things, I don’t know which to trust. My gut tells me to cut and run, but my heart won’t let me. Even though I’ve been telling myself to hold back, it’s too late. I’m already in too deep.
I'm way too invested in the Dalton family - Asher is one of my favourite ever characters and I just can't help loving the rest of the Dalton's too - so even though this has all the trademarks of a Sadenverse low angst book, I think because I know these characters so well I just couldn't help my emotions getting involved. If it was a random character I didn't already know a load about I probably wouldn't have been so emotional at seeing both of the twins getting their HEA's, but thats what I love about how interlinked the Sadenverse is.
Emmy made me cry sad tears and happy tears and I just wanted to give him the biggest hug when he was struggling to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. Adorable. It definitely brought out my mothering feelings! The part when Asher points out that Emmett fell for a Jasper and Benny fell for a Kole had me laughing so much, especially when Emmy grossed himself out in the next spicy scene, but it was absolute truth 😂
Loved how present Asher and West were in this book and seeing the events of A Stealthy Situation being wrapped up here was so good, no loose ends. Asher's advice and love for his brothers made me love him even more - yes at this point I feel like I'm campaigning for Asher to be voted best character ever, and I'm not even sorry about it 😂 I would have liked more Kole content though but I cackled when Jonah was talking about how the nerd factor think that Kole fakes medical emergencies at the hospital to get out of watching hockey games 😂😂😂😂
As always with the Sadenverse I just want more of these characters! I'm so excited for the next Puckboys book because I feel a huge reunion and crossover coming soon...
✨ARC REVIEW ✨ 3.75 rounded up I really really wanted to like this book. After Benny's story, Emmet needed to have a great one. I wanted him to come into his own. But it kind of fell a bit flat for me. I liked the mature communication and how Emmet handled his guilt. It was particularly good the coming of age and finding yourself and your place in the world for both Emmy and Jonah. Instead of a third act breakup, we get a second act one, and it's justified. It also helps the characters reorient their expectations and goals. But I kind of wanted more relationship development after the reckoning. This being a Dalton family member story means we are getting hockey, and I'm even mad about it. Having West and Asher help and be there for the twins was a highlight. It was kind of cute story, a continuation and resolution to Benny's, but there was something missing for me. It's most likely a me thing, so don't take my review too seriously.

How do you rate a book where you loved the non-romantic parts, but not the romance?
So this is about Emmet (Em), the second “chaos twin” from the Dalton family. We’ve already read about Ash and West in the CU series, and about Bennet in this anthology (the book written by Saxon James). I loved all of them, including their partners, and was so excited to see Em try his HEA, too.
Em has a crush on Jonah, Ben’s stats professor. As you might (or might not) remember, Ben has dyscalculia, so Em switched places with him to help, a fact that blew up and stopped in Ben’s book.
So yeah. Of all men, it’s Jonah, who could end all of Ben and Em’s hopes to turn this whole mess around.
And I think the premise is great. Make Jonah a more mature, stern guy, sprinkle a bit of daddy kink on top - I think I would have rated it with 5 stars without even finishing it.
Only it’s not. Minor spoilers ahead:
Jonah is 25, insecure and occasionally behaves more immaturely than the twins. He cancels classes when he’s too busy having sex with Em, confronts him in front of a crowd in a coffee shop when he thinks he’s cheating (spoiler: he’s not), and he drops Em like a hot commodity when all things blow up (I know it’s not for long, but you get my point).
Jonah is not it. Sorry.
The rest though - Ben, the twin bond, Asher and West - 5 stars are the least for whenever they enter the scene.
I’m a bit sad to rate this with an overall 3 stars - Em deserved better 😕
Twincerely Yours follows Emmy Dalton and his journey to finding his next phase in life while balancing his intense bond with twin Benny and a budding romance with Jonah. I enjoyed the twin dynamic and relationship between Benny and Emmy. Both twins really care for one another as shown with their indestructible bond.
I also enjoyed the fun appearances of West and Asher that helped settle the chaos between these two. I did find the building of the romance to be a bit lacking between Emmy and Jonah, but I could tell they had genuine feelings for one another and a stable connection, even if I felt it was a bit rushed.
Overall it was fun being back with these characters. I always enjoy revisiting the Dalton family and seeing all their crazy shenanigans.
*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this story.***
Tropes: nerd/jock, professor/kinda student, forbidden relationship, failed one night stand, mistaken identity Feels: 3/5 Steam*: 3/5 Kinks: n/a Angst: medium HEA: yes Pairing: MM Triggers/potential icks/content warnings: dead parents, not very supportive family, teen pregnancy of a minor character, learning disabilities, cheating at school
Emmett is 21. Emmett was kicked out of college for starting a fire in his dorm (but did he really?), and since then he's been secretly living with his twin brother Benny at the frat house Benny lives in. The Frat guys have been fooled into thinking they're the same person even though they've been living together for 6 months. Emmett and Benny are the Dalton twins and their family is basically NHL royalty with West and Asher Dalton being their brothers. They both supposedly gave up hockey, but Emmett is regretting it and he's coaching kids. Emmett has undiagnosed dyslexia and Benny has diagnosed dyscalculia, and all their lives they've been switching places so that they could cover what the other brother couldn't do. They gave up on that last term. Emmett had been attending Benny's statistics class with professor Jonah Brooks, and had a crush on him.
Jonah is 25 and in his first year as a professor at Franklin U teaching statistics. He doesn't really remember Benny/Emmett as a student, but he meets Emmett when Emmett is coaching Jonah's nephew in hockey. Jonah and Emmett have a one-night stand, but Emmett doesn't want to try for more because Jonah finding out about the cheating history would blow up Benny's life. But Jonah and Emmett can't stay away from each other and they keep things going, until the secrets between them basically blow up their relationship. Even if and when they can get past that, they also have the conflict to deal with of the fact that Emmett wants to try to make it to the NHL after all, and his best chance of doing that is to go back home to Vermont for training which is far far away from Jonah's job at Franklin. Can they make long distance work and what will their future look like?
I don't really know what to rate this book. I was all over the place with my reaction to it. This book has me howling with laughter at times and feeling so fond of all the Dalton siblings. The characters were very nuanced. The plot had layers. But at the same time, the romance suffered horribly, the love story just seemed doomed/wrong/a misfit for so long! The relationship wasn't what was best for them for so many reasons. And neither of them were in love until well past 80% of the book. I feel like the author f***** up a little and fumbled by making the relationship too casual for too long. Having both characters feel like the other person wasn't a good fit for them for so long just hurt the romance so hard. The number of times they said that this was just casual, but it wasn't like they were in love, Jonah talking with disdain about Emmett, how this thing would be easy to get over. So ugly! If I had to judge the first 80% of the book just based on the romance between Jonah and Emmett I would probably give it a 2.5. But there were so many moments outside of the romance that I just really loved during the first 80%. And then the last 20% was so good that it had me wanting to smash the five star button. West and Asher really showed up and this book ended on such a high note with the Dalton family rallying together and Jonah coming through and prioritizing his relationship.
The Dalton appearances were beautiful in this book. I absolutely need to hear Ezra's reaction to another Dalton hitting the NHL, another queer collective member. Please show me the flip side of this the puckboy series.
Some notable moments:
The twins at facing consequences! "Then, as they end the call, Benny grips my shoulder. “It was really nice being your twin. I’ll miss you when they kill you.” “That implies they’re not going to kill you too. Especially once we come clean about everything.” “About that …” I point at him. “No. You can’t get out of this. If I’m going down, you’re going down with me.”"
I love Asher so much. Our little murder kitten! Our Lord of eat s*** and die. "Asher laughs. He’s probably the most confusing Dalton. He laughs at the wrong times, finds the serious stuff ridiculous, but might actually be the most levelheaded one of them all. Somehow. I wonder what it would be like to be his partner. Not in an I’m interested kind of way, but more from an anthropological kind of way. His partner either has to be completely fucked-up or so put together that he can handle the chaos that is Asher Dalton."
Aw, this made my heart hurt, finally some good romance feels/angst "when a shuddery breath hits my neck, I realize he’s not trying for a sexy moment. He’s trying not to show that he’s upset. “Jonah?” I look back at him over my shoulder, at his glassy eyes. “Can I be the little spoon for a while?” he croaks. My heart melts. “Anytime you want.”"
*FYI about steam: I rate steam based on a combination of quality & quantity. I note kink separate from steam because I don't want to underrate steamy reads that don't have much kink.
**Note about spoilers: I like to comment on the plot of a book in reviews, so I almost always mark my reviews as containing spoilers. But I try to avoid spoiling the big dramatic moments! As a reader, I personally like to know what I'm getting into before I read a book so I know more about the content and if it's to my taste/mood, so I try to give that information in my reviews for myself when I'm considering rereading and also for other readers.

Enjoyable! I am a bit sad this series is over but I think this book has the perfect conclusion. Emmy was so cute and I loved the relationship he has with Benny. I feel like Jonah had to sacrifice a lot and I was somewhat annoyed, everything worked out fine I guess and the epilogue got me very emotional so I let it go, reading about the Dalton family was bittersweet. Can’t wait to read more about the Dalton men on the puckboy books.
I have mixed feelings about this book, and I think a lot of it comes down to me not being able to buy into the fact that Jonah was only 25, but he was already a university professor.
Now, obviously it's entirely possible within the book's setting for that to be the case, but I think I just wanted him to be slightly older to make the difference in their ages feel more solid.
I personally don't feel there's a massive amount of change between being 22 and 25, so while I was reading, it kept lingering at the back of my brain that Jonah's "maturity" would've worked better for me if he was only even two years older, at 27.
Anyways, that was my main niggle with this one, which is obviously the mirror to Saxon's book about Benny, the other Dalton twin.
Now, it's not to say I didn't enjoy this book, in the main I felt like Emmett's journey was perfectly played out, through his fears, his confusion about his future, how his brother would react to him wanting to go back to something they'd turned their backs on etc.
I also liked the relationship development between him and Jonah, it had a great balance of spice and sweetness and I could see them working long term as a pair.
But coupled with some odd time jumps that weren't ever really solidified into just how many days, weeks, months or even years, later it was, the whole narrative felt disjointed.
I did, however, very much appreciate the guest appearances of both West and Asher, two of my absolute favourites in the whole Sadenverse.
Overall, a solid ending for season two of Franklin U.
I am giving the 2⭐️ solely to the focused couple's story. To me, the best thing about this book was West, Jasper and Asher content. I got emotional seeing a father figure Jasper, and a retirement bound Asher. So much so that I retuned to re-read their books😊 Early couples of Sadenverse just hit different.
As for the MCs of this book, I have to say I really didnt feel much. I dont see how someone like Emmett, can risk his brother for some insta-lust. I get it, he was lost, and had some identity issues but come on. It would makea more sense if the bond of the MCs was established a bit more but it definetly wasnt. There was no obvious chemistry and Jonah was such a bland character. So overall I say nope.
I absolutely had high hopes for Emmett Dalton's book after he was introduced in Benny's book, and I can confidently say that his story did not disappoint. This story revolves around a professor/pseudo-student trope, delving into the consequences faced by the Dalton Twins due to their habit of switching places and their family antics.
Emmy has been acquainted with Professor Jonah Brooks for the past six months, as he used to take statistics classes for Ben. Their official introduction occurs when Jonah's nephew joins Emmy's hockey coaching classes. Despite Jonah's suspicions of having seen Emmy before, Emmy denies it, wanting to save his brother. Eventually, Jonah and Emmy have a one-night stand, and both yearn for more. However, Emmy's guilt and responsibility towards Benny prevent him from pursuing a relationship further.
I found the portrayal of the twins' relationship, their unwavering support for each other, and their codependency absolutely captivating. The chemistry between Jonah and Emmy is incredible, and I thoroughly enjoyed their interactions. Once everything was out in the open, I was concerned about how they would achieve their happily ever after. It was immensely gratifying to see them navigate their moral dilemmas, especially Jonah, to attain their well-deserved happy ending.
This book also introduces West and Asher, and their banter with the twins was truly enjoyable. Overall, this story is exceptionally well-written, and I highly recommend it, as well as the entire series.
* I received an ARC copy from GRR and this is my honest review *
It was fine. Two stars just for seeing Asher and West again.
I mostly just enjoyed the connection between Emmy and Benny. Jonah was boring and I didn’t really like him. The relationship was severely lacking. Zzzzz.
I thought this was super cute, I really liked the end. I didn’t read Bennet’s book so the beginning was a bit confusing at times, but I overall still enjoyed it.
Franklin U 2’s end has come and boy what a blast this series has been. So sad this is the final book in the series, but I rode the struggle bus on this one.
As much as I love Ben/Em and the Sadenverse as a whole, I just didn’t vibe with the romance between Jonah and Emmett. Things went 0 to 100 between these two, and I just didn’t feel the chemistry between them enough to get really invested.
That being said, while this is probably my least favorite of the series, it wasn’t a bad book by any means, just didn’t hook me 🤷🏻♀️
Eden Finley gives us a sweet story navigating ups and downs and a blanket of secrets for Emmy and Jonah as they find a way to their HEA.
Emmy has had a lot going on with the complicated mess he finds himself in when he develops feelings for Jonah who is his twin’s ex professor… a professor who is still figuring out his own life but knows he’s attracted to Emmy and knows Emmy is keeping secrets.
I did find it a bit challenging to buy into the premise of Jonah just changing his mind about consequences for what Benny and Emmet did and I did feel that the pace of things kept shifting - it made me connect less with the two main characters though I did love all the cameos and the bond between the twins while co-dependant is quite sweet
Expect: * A tiny bit of an age gap * Neurodivergent * Opposites attract * Secrets * Starts with a “one time only” * Smidge of hockey
No blurb yet but I see Eden Finley, I add to my TBR.
*edit: this is me realizing after the second book that emmett is indeed emmett dalton 👁️👄👁️ suddenly im all for the student x teacher trope because i need to know more about emmett. just please don’t make the professor old (30+) 😖
Emmett is my favorite Dalton twin, even though I love them both. He’s way more emotionally mature and you can see that in how he handles his relationship with Jonah. From the start, he’s hiding Ben’s secret from Jonah, so you know it’s going to blow up eventually. But this is a romance, so I knew it would work out, but I was still anxiously waiting for the chaos! And honestly, it was handled perfectly. I felt bad for both Em and Jonah, but I had faith in them because they’re obviously meant to be together.
Their relationship turned sweet and tender very fast, and I was cheering for them right away. They have fun, they laugh, they tease each other, their chemistry in bed is undeniable, they communicate well (except for the big secret), they’re both supportive of each other, they really make a great match. I also love how they all balanced out between Ben and Em’s codependency as well as Ben and Harrison and Em and Jonah as romantic couples. Both Jonah and Harrison accept the twin dynamic, which is so important to them.
Emmett needed to figure out who he was again after pretending to be Ben for months, and more than anything, he needed hockey back in his life. I loved that he just went for it, regardless of what Ben thought. He had to realize he’s his own person, and even though they have a very special bond, the twins need to live their separate lives to be truly happy.
West and Asher’s appearance toward the end was a great surprise, I loved it! There’s something about the Dalton brothers, they’re infuriating but you can’t help but love them. I already adored the older brothers, and now I’m obsessed with the twins too. These chaotic little gremlins totally stole my heart!
I don’t want to spoil anything but the ending was like a Dalton family epilogue and I got all emotional over it. I love them!!
This book had a complicated start for me with twins Emmett and Benny having a history of swapping classes and doing each others' work. This ultimately leads to a bit of a mess when Emmett is kicked out of his college and ends up secretly bunking in with Benny and taking his statistics class for him.
And Benny's statistics professor is hot!
As luck would have it, Jonah (hot statistics professor) brings his nephew to hockey classes that Emmett teaches and not realising Emmett has been taking his class, they hook up. So begins more complication with Em hiding that's he's basically homeless, was but no longer is taking Benny's class and is also hiding a lot of stuff about why he left college (and that he even left college) from his family.
Jonah and Emmett are hot together but Emmett makes one bad decision after another and it is a bit of a train wreck - he has gotten himself into such a mess!
There's links back to Benny's story within the Franklin U universe and also to Eden Finley's hockey series because the twins are West and Asher's brothers and these little Easter eggs are fun (though it wont detract from the story if you haven't read them). The boys owning up to what they've done was handled well and showed growth for them both.
Jonah and Em are cute together and I enjoyed this a lot. Its a bit hard to rate for me because the story felt a bit too complicated. But this is about a college-aged boy who is a younger bother, part of a co-dependant twin relationship and they lost their parent s very young and were raised basically by a brother so I forgave a lot.
Ultimately I enjoyed it though if you are looking for twin fun 😉 you won't find it here.
The good: It was fun to see the Dalton family. It did feel a bit like fan service, but it was fun.
The bad: this wasn’t a romantic story about someone who risked his job for love. It was someone making a deeply unethical decision that allowed two privileged white boys to avoid having any consequences for their actions. I didn’t feel the alleged deep connection between Jonah and Emmett that allowed Jonah to make that decision, and it felt very out-of-character. I don’t think West and Asher should have offered to bail them out by getting them into CU and onto the hockey team, but at least it felt like something they’d do to protect their brother. I don’t understand why Jonah protected them. Ben should not have gotten a degree, and there’s no way he would have been able to “make up the incomplete work” after dropping a class the semester prior. That’s not how college works.

just finished listening to the audibooks on scribd AND YES. YES. BIG YES. gosh i love the Dalton's. the twins having similar partners as their older brothers was hilarious (thanks, Captain Obvious Ash)
the story was adorable, although they didn't have to go through all those problems.. even though it was bound to happen (and we love the drama/angst, let's be honest)
Ash, West and Jasper appearing was such a treat i actually cried.
Tropes: 🩵 Hidden identity 💚 Off limits 💜 Age gap 🧡 College 💙 Hockey
“When did you get all insightful?” Benny snarks. “I don’t know. Maybe when you were cheating your way through life?” Asher snarks back.
(ENG) We've made it to the end of this series with this book, which also gives us the closure we needed in the story that Saxon's book gives us. I think that since they are both based on the same conflict, they should have been thought of as a duet and not as members of a multi-authored series, even though there are cameos of characters from other books in the same series. There's a lovely romance in the book, which is really well developed, as we've come to expect from the author. But the real focus is on the bond between the twins and how they have to learn to be independent of each other if they're going to grow as individuals. I really liked Jonah's character, who is also looking for his place in the world. Emmet is the quiet twin and it's impossible not to like him! But what I enjoyed the most about this book was the appearance of Wes and Asher! Asher is my favourite character in the Sadenverse and I was so happy to see him supporting Emmet. I just loved it! A great way to end the series.
💜 I'm so grateful to GRR for sending me the eArc of this book! 💜
3.5/5. This was my most anticipated read of the summer, so I may have had some unrealistic expectations, but I was slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great book. I read it in one day and I highly enjoyed it. I just also saw a lot of flaws. Primarily, there was a lot of the same internal dialogue and I didn't need to hear it multiple times. Also, it was, obviously, very similar to Benny's story in regards to the switching and how that affects a relationship. It felt a little unsure of what main problem it wanted to have and problems seemed very easily solved.
I feel like a sound like a hater, which I promise I am not usually. This was fun. I like Emmett although I don't feel I know him very well outside of Bennett. I know he's the nice one, but what else do I really know about him? I enjoyed Jonah, too, but again, I don't know much about him. Watching them fall in love was sweet, but sudden. There was so much other stuff going on that I don't feel I really got to see them fall for each other. I absolutely adored seeing the other Daltons, especially my extended time with Asher and West. I loved seeing Benny, Harrison, Felix, and Marshall, too. Oh and Silas! That was maybe my favorite part.
I like that Emmett had multiple secrets he was keeping from multiple people. It added some layers to his lies and it helped solidify how overwhelmed he was. I also enjoy his relationship with Benny and the rest of the family. He seems like a wonderful coach, too, which was cute to see him interact with the kids like Cullen.
4.5 stars I adore the Daltons. All the siblings are special and I really really loved this book because it wasn’t a fluffy sweet romance, but it had some pretty serious problems that the MCs had to overcome to find happiness.
It's impossible to totally understand Emmett's story without talking about Bennett too. Like I wrote in my review of A Stealthy Situation, they messed up their lives pretty badly after their parents' death and they didn't completely become aware of that until it was too late. Em's problems are worse than Ben's, though: while Harrison (like Jonah) was very upset with them both, Ben still had a chance with him but with Jonah being a Professor, there are some heavier implications that the twins, especially Em, can't ignore nor dismiss.
I loved how Jonah and Em fell for each other, how Em could finally be seen as his own person, how Jonah cherished him and gave him space to breathe and focused on what he really wanted. Their chemistry during the sex scenes was very intense and it never was just a physical release for them. It wasn't love at first sight, but they cared about each other since their first night together.
I loved the Daltons' dynamic: I'm not spoiling West and Asher's involvement in the story, but they are really the best (even if imperfect) big brothers in the world. And even if Ben and Em's codependency brought them more problems than solutions, their relationship is still something beautiful.
What prevented me from giving 5 full stars: In the last chapters I lost track of time and it was a little difficult trying to understand how much time passed. I also would have loved more interaction between Em and Cullen.
So, this is the end of the second season at Franklin University. Let's hope the authors will come back next year, this is a series that deserves more seasons.
I received an ARC of this book from Gay Romance Review and this is my honest review.
This professor might be my downfall, but instead of running away, all I want to do is chase after him.
❥Dual POV ❥MM Romance ❥Sadenverse ❥Hockey ❥Nerdy Professor x Jocky Sweetheart ❥One Night To More ❥Secrets ❥Twin Codependency
I’ve been looking forward to Twincerely Yours so much since reading A Stealthy Situation by Saxon James, which features Benny, one of the Dalton twins, where Emmett, our current twin, is a big part of everything that is happening in that book, and now it’s finally time for his story (I say finally, but it hasn’t been that long, but you know what time is like when you’re waiting for a new book!).
Emmett is trying to build his own life while still pretending to be Benny most of the time. He has found his love for hockey again, but it’s another secret added to the ones he’s already keeping. Secrets that make his attraction to the professor, Jonah, very complicated, especially when they hook up one night. Emmett is determined that it will only be one night.
But everything blows up in their faces, when Jonah mistakes Benny for Emmett, and makes a big scene that risks all the secrets to come to an end, along with Jonah’s job as a professor.
Emmett has to decide if it’s worth the risk to reveal his identity to everyone he’s kept it hidden for, and take the downfall that follows. But one big secret remains, one that makes it impossible for Emmett to truly commit to Jonas and the feelings they’ve developed for each other.
I loved the importance of family throughout the book, especially with the appearance of the older Dalton brothers, which was like coming home. I liked Emmett and Benny’s relationship to each other, though their codependency really showed in this one.
I also laughed out loud several times. We have a situation of auto-correct at its finest, and it was hilarious. Pretty much all of the interactions in the book have a bit of humorous banter in them, also between Jonah and Emmett, and I really enjoyed it.
Most of all, I enjoyed the relationship between Emmett and Jonah. It wasn’t overly romantic, and started off very physical. They have a lot of trust issues to overcome, and it was a bit dramatic at times, but I mean, they’re both in their early-mid twenties, so I forgive them. But they were very sweet together despite all that, and it was a fun ride seeing how their feelings changed along with their priorities.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Read the full review on my blog here with edits and funny/spicy quotes.
The Dalton twins are so close they almost can’t exist apart from one another. One has a hangover, the other has a sympathy hangover. One’s depressed, the other feels it too. They know one another so well they can pretend to be one another; point in fact, they’ve been getting away with this very thing since middle school. Or, they were until Benny Dalton went and fell in love during the fall semester. Now it’s spring and Emmett Dalton is starting to feel like a frayed thread. He’s lonely, kind of lost, and can’t sustain pretending to be his twin anymore. He’s too full of secrets, even ones his twin doesn’t know.
We first met Emmett Dalton (in Franklin U 2) back in the second book, Saxon James’ A Stealthy Situation, with Emmett being the one to take Benny’s statistics classes for him since Benny isn’t good at math. While Benny was swooning over their classmate Harrison, it turns out Emmett was swooning over someone too: their stats professor, Jonah.
Twincerely Yours offers up a lot of great tropes, including some of my favorites:
🍒 Mistaken identity 💣 Professor MMC 🍒 Nerd/jock 💣 Hockey 🍒 Chaos twins 💣 Just one night 🍒 Self-sacrifice 💣 Family is everything 🍒 Sadenverse name-checking 💣 Too many secrets
I absolutely love how Jonah can see right through Emmett and call him on his stuff and how weak Jonah is for Emmett but unwilling to cede territory on his core values. I also love how soft Jonah is for his nephew and how soft Emmett is for his family underneath all of that self-deprecating exterior. The spice in this book is mid-level, in my opinion, but it’s nicely written and fits the story perfectly. Finley always manages to tailor the spice perfectly to the scale of the story. The emotional payoff on Emmett and Jonah’s relationship is well worth waiting for the resolution here, and it’s just a fantastic book altogether.
I was provided a copy of this title by the author. All thoughts, opinions, views, and ideas expressed herein are mine and mine alone. Thank you.

I don’t even know where to start with book. I’m really sad that Franklin U series 2 has come to a close but what a book to finish on.
I was a little apprehensive that the book would feel a bit repetitive after ‘A Stealthy Situation’ because it was a similar story but there were so many more layers added to the story that it worked so well.
I absolutely loved the relationship between Emmy and Jonah. They took every obstacle in their stride and actually communicated properly to overcome each hurdle they faced. Their chemistry was red hot from the very beginning and they were just so suited to each other. Watching their relationship develop organically into something so beautiful was a joy! And although everything happened quite quickly in their relationship, it did not feel rushed.
We finally got to see more of the chaos twins themselves together in this book and it was everything. It was such a great progression from ASS and their story flowed so smoothly. I enjoyed watching the twins grow and mature enough to the point where they could let go of their tight grasp of each other. They will always be twins but they needed to take a little step away and learn to be individuals.
There was a part of the book where Jonah says that he was imagining Emmy and Benny as 9 year olds and I got teary eyed because we got to live that through Asher and Wests books. We got to see them as 9 year olds learning to live without their parents and to see them grow into young adults was a privilege.
I can’t write a review of this book without mentioning my beloved older Daltons. Anyone who knows me knows that I live for the Dalton family! I would jump in front of a bullet train for Asher ‘Eat Shit and Die’ Dalton. I had high hopes that we would get a few Asher/Kole and West/Jasper cameos and Eden came through in the best way!
This book was just it for me. I laughed, I cried, I was stressed and I was elated. What more could you ask for in a book?
An easy 5⭐️ for me!
Thank you to GRR for providing me with an advanced copy of the book.
