'WRECK MY PLANS' is the third book in Kelsey Clayton's 'North Haven University' series. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'
This was one book I was highly anticipating above all others and wow it delivered everything I was wanting and more. When we first encountered Carter his story was one I was holding out for. This hit me with all the angsty rollercoaster feels, the giggles, the emotional moments, the swoony moments which all left me craving more. These two were just perfect for each other and how it should've been right from the start.
Tye is seeking revenge for the death of her best friend and her finger is pointing right at Carter. She lays all the blame on his head and she's going to make him pay.
Carter hasn't been the same since her death, he isn't to blame but the guilt of it all eats at him constantly.
From start to finish I loved everything about this book. This series is one of my favourites. This author is one of my unicorn one click highly recommend authors.

𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅, 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆." in the blurb, and it ended up exceeding all my expectations. Definitely one of my favorite Kelsey books!
After a horrible childhood, Tyeler Morgan thought that she had finally found her true family, but now her best friend is dead, leaving her alone and lost without knowing what to do but seek revenge against who she believes is guilty, Carter Trayland, her best friend's ex-boyfriend.
At first glance, Carter has it all; rich, popular, handsome, drives a lambo, etc. But there's SO much more under that facade... If you read the previous book then you already know that Carter is literally the best friend anyone could have, ready to do whatever it takes to help his loved ones. And he's no different with Tye, even when she's ready to make his life hell, Carter isn't willing to let that revenge end up consuming her.
Tye is exactly what she looks like from the start: loyal, reckless, sassy, badass and driven. After all, she has nothing to lose, and tormenting who took everything from her sounds like a good plan, although she didn't think about that underlying connection that was always there between her and Carter since their first meeting.
This book has a bit of everything; a revenge plot, forbidden romance, enemies to lover, two broken characters who cannot leave the past that unites them behind and some very childish, but funny pranks.
Although I haven't read the main series, I do recommend this spin-off; there are a lot of tropes and intertwined stories, and if the ending of this book means anything, then there's a lot of drama to come and I'm living for it (my two fav tropes in the next book 🥰!!!!).

Funny, entertaining, angsty in all the right places, Wreck My Plans was my first Kelsey Clayton book and far exceeded my expectations. It got me out of a bad book slump and I couldn't put it down. I read it in one sitting.
This book can be technically read as a standalone but I recommended to start with Haven Grace Prep series and then move to North Haven University series. I went in blind and I got a bit lost in the web of characters and plots from the previous books.
Tye had the worst childhood until she was saved by her best friend, Davianna and her parents. When Davi dies (in the previous book), Tye is lost, angry and blames it all on her best friend's ex, Carter. She is on the edge, self-destructing with alcohol and decides to seeks revenge on Carter by pulling pranks on him, that ultimately get out of hand.
Carter has always had a thing for Tye. He feels guilty for Davi's death and he is keeping a big secret from Tye, in order to spare her more heartbreak. Her pranks leave him unfazed. He is a rich hot football athlete and he owns it. He treats her really well and never gives up on their relationship.
I liked both characters, their youthful interactions and banter, the flow of the story, how the small time jumps and angsty moments were handled by the author. It is a bit forbidden as it is based on a (dead) best friend's ex trope. But the premise is done pretty well so I had no issues with the taboo part of their relationship.
I will definitely pick up more books from this author.

Carter and Tyeler took me for a wild ride with this book!!
This is one of the most original enemies to lovers books I have ever read.
I loved the premise, Tyeler's plan of revenge and Carter's guilt. We get a push and pull relationship and I have to admit that I had a soft spot for Carter.
This was my first book from this author but it won't be the last, that's for certain!!

Plot Summary :
Tye needs revenge. And there is no length she won't cross to get it. Her best friend is dead. The girl who saved her from monsters is now dead and there was one person responsible. And now he was going to pay. She was going to make Carter regret ever crossing her and she would do so with a smile on her face. No matter what she felt for him in the past, there is no way he is leaving now unscathed.
Carter is shocked to see Tye at his college. One look at her and he knows why she is here. And he will let her destroy him. Let her hurt him because no matter what happens, she will be safe. Let her think that he was responsible for her best friend's death because the truth is much worse.
Overall Opinion :
Ever since I have read Jace's story, I have been going crazy for this one!! Tye is literally the most badass heroine I have ever read and Carter was just perfect for her. She was ruthless and so very broken! The way the author has written the story from her POV had me in tears and even though she pretended to not feel anything, she was the most broken of them all.
I loved the way Carter was. He was amazing in every way and the best thing about him was how much he cared for his friends. Tye also made it to that list. Both of them were opposite yet so amazing together. Full of Hate as well as love, they had a tale that absolutely wrapped itself around my heart and made me love these two even more!!
The author even hinted about who the next book will be and trust me when I say that I have never anticipated a book more!! I want that book now! Carter and Tye's story is highly recommended by me to all the contemporary romance lovers out there!!

I was anticipating Carter's story like an addict who was searching for his next fix and Kelsey finally delivered it and I'm over the moon about that!!!
This author had become really quickly one of my favorites and she is building beautiful stories that are not at all similar between them, even though in some way they are connected!!!
This was a story of revenge, but darn!!! I had laughed so much in here along with other more tender and swoony feelings!!!

If I want to be honest here, Carter wasn't my most favorite character in the past, but in this series, he grew up and he stopped being so entitled and his loyalty to his friends is so fierce that I couldn't not get under his spell...
Carter had a traumatic experience two years ago...
He used to have a fiancee that she died and her death felt upon his best friend's shoulders and even though he made the impossible possible to help Jace, this certain fact is still hunting him...
What he is not expecting is for Tye, his dead fiancee's best friend, to come into his life with an agenda and to awoken his dead heart for once again...
"This version of her is different.
Broken. Calculating. Seething.
This version of her has a vendetta, and I've got a target painted on my back."
Tye is driven by revenge. Her best friend, the only person that she loved fiercely in her life, had been killed and she can't bear this pain anymore. Everything is pointing to Carter Trayland and she is determined to make him pay...
So, she is uprooting her whole life and she is planting herself in the middle of Carter's life and even though, she was always drown to him, she is not allowing to herself to not make him pay for what he did to Davi.
"My best friend is dead -ripped from this world way too soon- and someone needs to pay."
As you can understand things are escalating very quickly in here, between these two.
Tye is determined to destroy him no matter what, but Carter who was always having a soft spot for her, he is taking everything that she is throwing to him like a champ and his only purpose is to protect her, even from herself.
I won't lie to you that some of the things that Tye did to Carter made me laugh hysterically!!! Aw, the things that she did to him!!! It was deliriously delicious to witness them!!!
"I wish I could explain the hold Tye has over me. After all, she's the last person I'm allowed to want."
I loved Carter!!! He was sweet when he was hard and his loyalty toward the ones he loved was out of this world.
In here, we realized better his relationship with Davianna and what Tye meant for him from the very first moment that he met her. She was the one for him, but fate and Davi had other plans...
Tye was a badass chick and a little bit crazy. She was also very loyal and Davi was meant the world to her. If it weren't Davi, she would be still trapped in an awful life. So, she ought too many things to her... She even stomped upon her heart for Davi to have what she wanted.
Her revenge plans were crazy and wild but from time to time, her heart was fogging her mind and she was slipping on Carter's charm.
"She hates me with a burning passion.
And yet, I can't stop fucking thinking about her."
"My mind is fraternizing with the enemy."
Oh, how these two were fitting together!!! They were intense and they were crazy!!!
They were just perfect for each other in a very strange way...
And now, it's Easton's turn and I can not wait, even though I'm not very fond of him.
It's time for him to move on from Tessa...
Poor Kennedy!!! It is so hard to fight a hopeless battle.
But I'm rooting for you. You can do it, girl!!!!

If you had told me that I would ever, and I mean ever, fall so completely in love with Carter fucking Trayland, I would have laughed in your face. But oh my gosh, I am in awe of Kelsey because not only did she make me love this amazing man, but he turned out to be her best hero, ever. I said it!! Carter is officially mine. He can wreck my plans and my vagina any day. *heart eyes*
Carter's growth is by far my favorite thing ever. Throughout all of Kelsey's books, he's grown from that entitled young shit who thought the world owed him a favor, to a genuinely *good* man who has regrets about how everything happened, but he has so much love and depth to him too, and just wants to wrong all the rights. And more than anything, he wish he could go back and choose the right girl from the get-go. Cue all the feels!!
As for Tye, good lord that girl captivated me. She is on the path for revenge for what happened to her best friend, and she's fed up with not getting the answers she needs. She's so lost without her-- her bff was literally her other half, especially considering what she saved Tye from as a young kid- my heart just ACHED for her. She's determined to make Carter pay for his hand in all of this tragedy, but what she didn't expect was to still feel this undeniable pull to him. Yes, she can admit that he's attractive, and she may have wanted him first, but now all she feels for him his hate (or so she tells herself) but we all know differently! These two truly have the most beautiful moments together underneath all of Tye's animosity, and I loved, LOVED, how Carter saw the beautiful soul underneath all her pain. Tye has lived an entire life of pain, and her backstory just broke my heart so much. I can't imagine surviving that, much less thriving and falling in love with life again. But what I really loved? The fact that Carter would gladly let Tye destroy him if it brought her even an ounce of relief. Gosh dammit, someone must be chopping onions around me again, because I'm tearing up just thinking about it! Ugh, Carter is beyond perfect.
The sexy moments between these two were straight FIRE. Their chemistry was ridiculously intense, and I loved seeing them FINALLY act on it. Underneath all of that too, you could always tell how much they adored one another, even if a certain someone was trying like hell to deny it. ;)
I am just so in love with this series, and I cannot wait for more. Each book is better than the last, and I have no idea how Kelsey keeps doing it, but I never want her to stop! And that cliffhanger regarding Easton and Kennedy?! HOLY HELL, I need their book like yesterday!!!
Please do yourselves a favor and one click this amazing book as soon as you can! You won't regret it!

Kelsey Clayton's storytelling is breathtakingly brilliant and I absolutely love the feeling of finding myself completely lost amongst the words of her stories. She is the kind of author that brings her own unique approach to her characters and their journeys that she takes us on through her storytelling that manages to wholeheartedly captivate every inch of my soul. The stories in the North Haven University series have become an addiction of mine over the past few months and I just can't get enough of these characters.
Carter Trayland and Tyeler Morgan brought on all the angsty moments that I have been craving since getting to know her in the previous book in this standalone series. Tyeler is a badass heroine and she is now my number one spirt animal. She has had to fight her entire life and my heart went out to her. I legit wish I had her give no sh*t confidence and attitude. She gives me LIFE and is without a doubt the PERFECT match for our boy Carter. He definitely needed a woman like her to put him in his place. Wreck My Plans might just be my favorite Kelsey Clayton book to date and honestly I'm not sure if these two will EVER be replaced in my heart. Their intense love story was full of unexpected twists and I was left intrigued by the drama that surrounded them time and time again. These two did NOT have an easy journey towards happily ever after, but I was LIVING for every second of it. There are some heartbreaking moments that will have you clutching your heart from the aches forming in your chest and leave you utterly breathless. These two have an epic love story that will have you inhaling all the words in a matter of hours because it will be impossible to put down.
Now I cannot wait to get my hands on the final release in this standalone series and I am already counting down the days because of that shock-worthy ending that Kelsey Clayton through in! She sure knows how to keep her readers on the edge of their seats!
Kelsey Clayton's storytelling is breathtakingly brilliant and I absolutely love the feeling of finding myself completely lost amongst the words of her stories. She is the kind of author that brings her own unique approach to her characters and their journeys that she takes us on through her storytelling that manages to wholeheartedly captivate every inch of my soul. The stories in the North Haven University series have become an addiction of mine over the past few months and I just can't get enough of these characters.
Carter Trayland and Tyeler Morgan brought on all the angsty moments that I have been craving since getting to know her in the previous book in this standalone series. Tyeler is a badass heroine and she is now my number one spirt animal. She has had to fight her entire life and my heart went out to her. I legit wish I had her give no sh*t confidence and attitude. She gives me LIFE and is without a doubt the PERFECT match for our boy Carter. He definitely needed a woman like her to put him in his place. Just like usual, this author took my breath with another new book of hers. Not only does this author have the BEST covers, the BEST heros, the BEST heroines, but the story lines are so gripping and addicting I will blindly buy for the rest of this authors writing days.
I LOVED Carter Tyeler. Together and separate. Tye was probably my favorite heroine. And Carter my favorite hero. I need to keep everything a secret so you can fall in love like me but let me just tell you...theres this upstairs party scene....
But this book wasnt all fun and hot sex. It was utterly devasting. Tore my heart out. Such an AMAZING story. I cannot wait for the next book by Kelsey Clayton. 5 heart wrenching love filled stars.

Carter's story was a story I had been anticipating since I read the previous book in this series, his story made me curious and so I was super happy when I put my hands on him I was super happy. And let me say that the story didn't disappoint me.
Carter surprised me positively in this story. He turned out to be an incredible guy, and loyal to his friends and Tyler, even though she often didn't deserve it. I loved seeing his relationship with his friends, with his father and understanding what really happened between him and his ex. Tyler is a character that I found boring and immature at the beginning of the book, although I felt sympathy for his grief, I found a lot of his childish attitudes, however throughout the story and knowing his past she was a character that ended up conquering me throughout history.
The relationship between her and Carter is complicated, full of secrets and resentment but it is undeniable that above the relationship of love and hate that they spend a good part of the book there is a connection between these characters and his interactions that started full of sexual tension have evolved for something deeper. I liked their relationship, and how good that Carter was, because in the end the two deserved a happy ending after everything they went through.
As this series deals with young people in high school dealing with their problems and falling in love, the end of the book already leaves a hook for the next book in this series. Now it's waiting for what's next and hoping to see them in the next book.

Definitely not one of my favorites from the series. I think I was just over the whole Davi situation. Also I think the heroine was a bit shitty she just didn’t care about nothing and for her to just change randomly at the end of the book I don’t know it felt a bit not real.

It was a great enemies to lovers romance to read and my favorite so far in the series. All because of Tye's character, the rebel and at the same time damaged heroine. The chemistry between Carter and her was volcanic 🔥

His love for her set in motion events that ended in tragedy. He was forced to love the wrong girl, his best friend almost went to prison for her death. Now the one that he has always wanted is at North Haven without her best friend, there for the revenge she thinks is owed. She blames him for it all, but the truth is so much worse......and if she found out what really happened that night, it would destroy her even more than she already is. If being the target for all her pain is what it takes to protect her, Carter will take it all.....he will do whatever it takes to keep her from the truth.
Because Tyeler Morgan is every perfect thing in this world, and I won't be a part of what breaks her down to nothing.
This series is my first dip into Kelsey’s work, they haven’t all been home runs but I’ve enjoyed them nonetheless. Each installment builds and sets up the next one, making them the perfect book crack that I can’t put down. After the events in Change My Game, I was honestly more desperate for Carter & Tyeler’s story than I have for the others.....
I KNEW their journey would be a difficult and painful one, I just didn’t realize how hot it would be as well. Honestly had it not been for how carried away she got with the already overboard “tough girl” act forced on Tyeler’s character this very likely could’ve been an easy 5 star and potential favorite of the series. Unfortunately, a beautifully heartbreaking story was sorta overshadowed by the extraness that surrounded Tyeler’s character and I hated it.
Because this had the power to break me in so many ways, yet it just didn’t come through fully due to my inability to connect with her on the level necessary to make that type of emotional damage happen.
"No!" I shout. "I wasn't, and I'm sorry if that hurts you, but I wasn't. Because while I was supposed to be falling in love with her, I was too busy falling in love with her best friend."
The Breakdown:
One thing that I’ve appreciated about each installment in this series is the emotional side to every story, that with each couple there is something deeper going on (either individually or together) than just their romance. This one having the aftermath of Davi’s tragic death and how it affected both her best friend and her former fiancé’s, the couple of this story. Tye’s side of things is so much more heartbreaking, watching her self-destruct but not totally realize she was made her relatable for some reason…..
I guess because I could imagine being the same way. Carter’s side of things wasn’t as painful, his was more so a side effect of what he knew and the sacrifices he made to protect Tye.
Them together?
I had no problem at all believing the connection there. It was one of those that was so strong and skated that line between love and hate, it held so much passion no matter what side it landed on at any given time. In that connection, that’s where Carter shined for me though. I could FEEL the depth of his love for this girl, it was that kinda love he was powerless against….
"You can do anything you want to me, and I'm still going to want you. And maybe that makes me fucked up, but I can't help it. I'm always going to be here—wanting you, loving you, and showing up to save you, even if you don't want me to."
……honestly he was IT for me in this book. If I was rating on him alone it would be 5 stars.
Now let’s get into what prevented this from being 5 star worthy……it honest to God boils down to Tye. I feel like people might think I’ve been on a heroine-hating binge lately, I mean almost every issue I’ve had with my latest reads have usually centered around the female. But this one falls right on in with the rest, Tye didn’t fully ruin the book for me but she came pretty close a few times. I expected a tough cold-hearted badass type and that’s what I got but she didn’t stop there…..
……she had to go so extra with it that Tye went from true BA to something so eye-roll worthy and ridiculous I couldn’t stand it…..
"She's disturbed? She's fucking dead, you nosy, cold-hearted bitch. So take your opinions and your judgmental bullshit and get the hell out of my face before I make those glasses a permanent feature of yours."
….I mean I get it, she’s a mess and she’s lashing out and all that but it felt like her entire purpose was to prove she was a bitch you didn’t fuck with, like she was supposed to be feared by all. It just wasn’t a good look overall.
Not to mention, her payback and “pranks” were so childish yet I’m expected to believe college-aged guys would be truly fearful of her “wrath”?
I’m not sure what I wanted from her, I just know it wasn’t what she did. And my final issue with her? The whole “roommate falling in love with her after one drunken kiss” thing. It wasn’t the situation as a whole (despite it being a tad ridiculous), it was just a little tacky how it was handled….
"I swear, you kiss a girl one time by accident." Paige snorts. "You mean what happened at Zayn's party last night caused this?" Fixing her shirt, she sighs. "Turns out my boy-hating roommate only hates boys because she's a lesbian, and she just found this out last night. I didn't think my tongue was that life changing."
…..especially in the way that this “moment” was how this character discovers she’s gay and it’s used as something that should be laughed at or to be used to further push how irresistible Tye is. To turn it around like the roommate was the creep when in reality Tye grabbed a random female and kissed her without permission to make Carter jealous.
And because I’m obviously on a roll I need to bring up the quotations in places that wasn’t dialogue…..it confused the crap out of me more than once when I had to figure out if it was actually something they were saying out loud or not.
The Verdict:
Wreck My Plans may not have been the home run I was hoping for, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a worthy read. Carter was worth every second I spent reading this, their journey was one that made me feel, and she did a great job setting up the next installment and already hooking me in. I might not have been a Tye fan BUT I am a North Haven fan and I still believe this series is one worth having on your TBR list.

5 Revenge Stars
I’m not quite sure how she does it, but Kelsey just keeps slaying these books left and right. I am so thoroughly and keenly addicted to these characters and this world of North Hampton University that I can’t wait to become immersed. And then alas I’m left bereft, because I didn’t savor the story as one should, I blew through it like a woman on a mission, because I just COULDN’T PUT IT DOWN!!
I’ve been not so patiently waiting for Carter’s story since the very first book in this world, The Sinner. From the start you could feel his charisma explode from the pages. But you also could see the yuppie, rich kid who thinks he should get everything and anything he wants. What I loved most about him in these later books, is that you get to see how much he’s grown, from the entitled boy to the determined man. I simply and unquestionably fell head over heels for the patient and caring man that he’s turned into.
And Tye was something else. This girl is a blazing inferno waiting to burn you to your core. But, she’s loyal and determined, strong-willed and smart, she’s broken but healing. Her smashed and shattered pieces are what drew me in and had me feeling a deep connection to her. And the boundless roots and flourishing connection between her and Carter were like a healing balm to her soul. That kind of bond is what I live for with romance, it tugs at your heart strings leaving you a little more emotional than when you started.
Kelsey has this way of writing characters that are damaged and bleeding, but underneath that at their core, you can feel their strength. The feelings she invokes with her words are visceral causing your heart to beat just a little faster and your blood pressure to rise. Their journeys are not easy, but they are human and real. They are gritty and raw. They will leave you drained but happy. When you read a book and go through an experience that’s what you get while reading Kelsey’s books, and I AM HERE FOR IT!!!

Tye knows how to stick up for herself. But as I watch this story unfold, I had to wonder if she takes things a little too far. Carter is all about football and his friends. He’s also one to turn the other cheek.
This story turned my idea of a bully romance on its head. In books past it has always been the male character being a bully to the female character. This time around, the author has flipped it around. Usually, I go in not liking the male character very much until I see if he is redeemable or not. Again, this time is different. I had no trouble disliking Tye. She seemed like nothing but a spoiled brat who needed an attitude adjustment.
Our author created a secondary character, Noah, who seems to see something in her that I don’t. He’s one of the main reasons that I kept waiting to see where this story was going. Another reason was because I wanted to see how much Carter was going to put up with before things came to blows. Parts of this tale are sad too – not tears sad but heart sad.
It was interesting to watch the author go about changing my mind on how I feel about Tye. Sorry thing is, it took most of the story to accomplish that – just means she’s good at what she does. Just like a magician goes about having an audience believe the impossible, so does the author. I also think she showed great restraint because this story could have turned very dark.
Something of a reminder is that women can be just as nasty, and dirty, as men can be. They can have the same evil thoughts, and deeds, as their counterparts. Not all women are as innocent as they appear to be. By not taking the step off the cliff, brought things back in line until the author ended her story which has now left me in suspense. There were times that I really didn’t like what I saw happening but Carter, and Noah, had me wanting to give them a chance. And I’m glad I did since now I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Get ready for an emotional roller coaster of a read! This book goes from hysterical to sobbing to anger, with some extremely schemxy scenes. Carter and Tye a couple that goes through some really tough times to get to their some kind of wonderful. As heros go Carter is an amazing man. With a reputation for messing around, he shows his true colors when the one that has always held his attention and heart waltzes back into his life. Tye does more that waltz in, her goal is to ruin the one person who dared to catch her attention. What unfolds is pure magic. An epic power struggle that explodes on the page. Pain, tears, passion and love all combustible ingredients when they are anywhere near one another.
A must have! This is the first book that I have read from this series so you can read them as a stand alone. I for one am going to read the first 2 books as I eagerly await the next book in the series.

Kelsey is amazing at what she does and every book is a page tuner. Wreck My Plans was no different, once I started I couldn't stop. When you first meet Carter you may just want to strangle him but he definitely grows on you and this book had me loving him. Then you have Tye who is awesome as well. She's strong and determined but also needs support and love. Kelsey will have you all in your feelings and my heart broke for the characters. But to see them come together and find love was so amazing. I honestly can't say enough about how great this book was written, every emotion, every detail was perfect and you need this book in your life. I can't wait to see what's next!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The series just keeps on getting better and better. Ty and Carter's story is full of emotions and had me in tears. They just gripped me at the heart. The attraction between these two is intense. Their chemistry is explosive and their banter is so much fun. I loved this one and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

So I literally just found out this was book 3 in this series. Idk why but for some reason, I thought this was the first in a spin-off series. So I just went and looked and I NNEEEEDDDDD to go back and read the first 2. I feel like this might hit different after reading book 2.
Now that's not to say it didn't hit because it most certainly definitely absolutely did. I read this baby in one sitting staying up waayyy past my bedtime. The biggest lie I ever tell myself is ill just read one chapter.
Carter is god damn cinnamon roll and like absolute perfection.
Tye is a god damn wreck.

I love this series and loved Tye and Carters story as much as the others. It was good getting to see more of Carter and get an insight into Tye. I loved her confidence and her idgaf attitude. She was on a mission to make Carter’s life hell but he totally flipped it on her. He’d always loved her but the history with Davi made it complicated. They were both grieving and trying to move on but I was dreading the real story behind Davi’s death coming out. We knew something had happened from the previous book and it was something bad enough for Carter to hide from Tye. It was more devastation she had to go through but Carter was there. As always. Saving her. Seeing her heal, face her dad and properly let herself be with Carter was so heart warming. Carter was confident and popular and the kind of guy it was hard to hate. What happened to Davi was so sad but he was always meant to be with Tye ❣️

The title to this book was so incredibly and utterly fitting because it wrecked my plans until the moment I read those last two words. THE END.
This book was phenomenal, and it had absolutely everything that I love in my books. This author knows exactly what she’s doing and how to write a story. I couldn’t imagine how hard Tye and Carter story would have been for this author to write.
Tye is a character unlike any character this author has created but i feel that she’s a combination of Knox and Tessa.
Tye is a woman on a mission, she’s seeking REVENGE for the death of the one person who meant everything to her. Her BEST FRIEND and who better than to point fingers and dish all she can at the guy who she thinks and wants to believe had something to do with it.
Let me just tell you, all is not what it seems and when the truth comes out. It’s going to change things between our two main characters.
Our guy Carter, the man with the finger pointed at him is the guy who hasn’t been the same since finding himself face to face with Tye again, he just wants to protect her and be there for her, even if that means copping and accepting all that is thrown at him.
At times I grew frustrated in the why. Why is he just letting her do all of this to him, why won’t he take control but deep down you knew the real reason. His love, his need to be there and protect her made all of what she has done blur.
Although a question remains, will these two be able move on from this loss and be able to give up something real that they have?

We get more of an insight of Carter’s story and of course behind Tye as she was a mystery in a whole. Her story absolutely broke me because all she’s known is pain and how ugly the world can be.
This book I found it to be a book that could strip you emotionally bare and give you and raw and real vibe as you delve deeper and deeper inside. Together these two have a lot to fight for especially if they want each other, they have a lot to work through physically and emotionally. Their story isn’t easy but not every story is.
Together these two were incredibly in sync, they have a connection that has spanned over years and seems to be growing and growing each time they are together. Besides all the hate and anger, their is so much love and when these two finally work past it all. It’s so incredibly beautiful and powerful.
If you want a book that flows like a roller coaster ride with all the highs, lows, twist and turns then this book will be for you but also add in the fire, fun and the feels and you have yourself a book you are going to want to read.
I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series especially with Easton and Kennedy and what was spilled at the end of this book.
Hands down to this author for creating another epic book.

Kelsey Clayton has done it once again. Wreck My Plans dives deeper into Carter’s character and we finally understand the emotions he holds within himself.
I have been anticipating Carter’s story since the very first time he was mentioned. Throughout this book we finally get to know his character and mystery behind it all.
Carter and Tyeler’s story really surprised me in the best way. I had no idea as to what they both were going through individually and honestly seeing it develop throughout the book was one of my favorite aspects. Tyeler’s character is absolutely everything. She is strong and yet even in the weakest of moments, she still managed to stay true to herself and strive for more. Her and Carter’s moments had me on the edge!! Carter’s character was everything I hoped for yet didn’t see coming. His character was written really well and he’s easily become one of my favorite heroes.
Wreck My Plans has got to be one of my favorite books written by Kelsey Clayton. These two characters are strong together and individually. The pain and the love was all so raw and seeing them go through it all together made them stronger than who they were in the beginning. I can’t wait to see more of the characters in the series and am excited for the stories that need to be told.

"I told you, I will always show up to save you."
OMG I think this might be my fave book in the North Haven series! I read this book in one sitting because I was so invested in Tye and Carter's story. Carter had been growing on me through the previous books but he totally captured my heart in this one as he longed for Tye. And Tye- what a resilient heroine as she had been through so much trauma but still managed to come out on top! I just loved the enemies to lovers vibes and the push and pull of their dynamic. I also really liked the interwoven flashbacks (though I still don't understand how Carter was drawn to Davi in the first place). The chemistry between these two lit up my kindle and I was so happy once Tye finally stopped resisting her attraction to Carter. And the loyalty that Carter had to both her and his friends was just so endearing! Also loved all of the friendships that were formed with the girls (Tye, Amelia, and Kennedy). Overall I just loved these two together and how they overcame tragedy as a team. Highly recommend for an emotional and intriguing college romance!

Tyeler is one sassy firecracker. She put Carter through absolute hell & he handled it like a badass. It only made me think these two couldn’t have been a better match if they tried. The nicknames the guys came up with for her had me giggling like crazy & when Knox met her.. hands down she became my favourite female character. Also I absolutely loved getting to see Knox again especially since it was Carter’s book & you know the tension between those two is explosive. You know he’ll always be my favourite that sexy badass.
Anyways back to Carter & Tyeler. I really loved their story. I liked getting to learn more about their past, it kind of flowed over from Jace’s book. Which I liked because I knew there was more to that story. Also the bromance between Jace & Carter. Freaking love it. This series just keeps getting better and better! I’m obsessed with this world and characters that this author has created! I’m fairly new to Kelsey Clayton this being my second book I’ve read by her and I just can’t believe I haven’t read anything sooner! This story was amazing! It’s gripping storyline the awesome characters it was everything I expected and more ! I knew from reading the previous book that Carter’s story was going to be an intense heartbreaking with all the feels journey for him and Tye to be together and boy oh boy was it ! What I wasn’t expecting was the humor I laughed so hard through this story I couldn’t help it ! The banter between these two the shit Tye was pulling on Carter all the pranks it was so hilarious! Definite must read and definitely one click author for me ! I can’t wait to see what else Kelsey Clayton has in store for us and to be honest I’m hoping it’s Easton story next !

Wreck My Plans is the third standalone book in the North Haven University Series, written in dual perspectives, it's an addictive and emotive read full of complex characters that will keep you immersed in the North Haven University World and will make you not want to leave!
With each book in this series, I fall more in love with each character and Kelsey Clayton's writing, Each character and situation becomes that much more complex and thrilling to read. I'm constantly blown away by how intricate each storyline is and how complex the character development is.
Carter and Tye were epic together! They brought out the best and the worst in each other and there chemistry was off the charts! I adored these two characters together, there push and pull relationship made this an addictive read!
