genuinely GOD AWFUL, the plot, the writing, THE DIALOGUE, everything. i read a lot of dub con/non con but somehow this felt more rapey??? it was not cute. oh plus the alpha guy thinks he's "broken" bc he's infertile, but in the epilogue he has somehow magically impregnated his mate with twins?? ok bc meeting his perfect mate would somehow reverse infertility apparently😭 literally he tells the omega that he's infertile and the omega is like hmm well that could be the case or maybe you just haven't met the right omega yet.....WHAT😳 i think i just despise using the word "broken" to describe someone who can't have kids and then "resolving" this by "curing" him and having him sire twins🙄 i realize the rules are different in omegaverse but this was just fucking stupid. and annoying. and plain and simple pure shit. boooo🍅🍅🍅

Oh wow this short MM omegaverse story was such a treat!!
It was all in all porn with plot, but damn I did enjoy it and it was written so well!

Eldin sickness a mission to get his hands on Snake who kidnapped his sister. But at the club where he was waiting for him he found a bounded omega who was going insane from his heat. So he took him to a room and did the only thing that would bring the omega back to a clear state of mind.

“That’s right. Bite me. Take all your anger out on me. Use my body as I’m using yours. Hate me, fight me, but I’ll still do what I think is best for you. Which is knotting you over and over, as many times as it takes to bring you back from this state of insanity.”

The smut was delicious, it was hot and raw and it definitely satisfied some of my kinks *cough* fisting, belly bulge *cough*.
But I loved that even the situation was not idea for both of them, Eldin tried his best to make they whole thing pleasant for Ole and to show him that he wasn’t like the other Alphas.

I was so happy that they got their deserved Happy End, i definitely wouldn’t mind to read more about them.

I read this book this year then again at start of Pride Month ❤️. There's an epilogue added which is so sweet 😍. I'd have loved to see them travel & avenge but...I'm happy with this conclusion & HEA.

This is such a steamy, horny MM omegaverse short story! It was part of an anthology, now released separately. I easily read my #ARC before bed 🤭🥵 on Valentine's day!

The story has minimal but intriguing plot, Carmine made the MCs interesting despite the shorter story length! And the Alpha/Omega steam 🔥🔥.

For the length, this is a good 4.5⭐. I hope there's more of these 2!

**Update We won't get any more of these 2 specifically, but I'm glad we got to see their HEA. Plus there may be more books in the world! RTC ❤️.

This has now become my absolute favourite story by this author. There wasn’t a single second of the story that I wasn’t fully captivated by. I don’t regularly read omegaverse stories but the concept of saving kidnapped omegas and the fact that there was fisting had me signing up really fast for this story!

This is a single POV story told only from the Alpha’s POV. Usually I prefer dual but I honestly didn’t feel like it was missed with this story. We needed to be in the Alpha’s head during the harder scenes and the author did such a great job setting up these characters that we had a great idea of what the omega was like.

I loved both Eldin and Ole right from the beginning. I loved that they really needed each other. The story before the epilogue takes place in one night but I had no issue at all believing their connection or falling in love with these characters. Their HEA was absolutely everything I could have asked for and more! It was the perfect ending for them and almost had me in tears! I can’t wait to read the next entry in this series!

Honestly this story had so many things I don’t usually like. Omegaverse, mostly smut, single POV, very close to non-con, short story. It really had a lot against it but it defied all odds and I really enjoyed all of it. It definitely didn’t feel like it was mostly smut because so much happened between the two characters at the same time. And it was short but so much of what I enjoy in a story was still included. If any of these things are things you don’t normally like in your stories I still suggest trying this book because it was just so amazing!

Please Note: Make sure you review the trigger warnings. This was very close to non-con for me but I was ok with it because we see the scenes from the Alpha’s POV and see his intention behind it is to help the omega even though the omega doesn’t give explicit permission.

What starts with a plan for revenge becomes so much more. Eldin must purchase an omega to get his revenge, so he chooses the one no one else wants and everything changes. Yes, this book does contain dub con between the two mcs, but under the circumstances, it is understandable and forgivable. During their first night together, they form an unbreakable bound that will forever change both men. It is a great high heat story that I for one enjoyed thoroughly.

So the next time I take forever to read anything by K.C., remind me that I’m an idiot. Bound Omega was such an intense story, never knowing the consequences of lack of mating during an omega’s heat. But, Eldin takes a chance on Oleander and brings him out of his misery.

Their connection was quite interesting, especially since Ole’s demeanor was initially compromised. As they grew closer over a quick time span, the reader cannot help but fall for them, too! Who ever thought you would find love in a psychosis omega while searching for a killer??

Review:
The Bound Omega is a short story that is nothing short of sizzling—delivering a remarkable amount of chemistry and heat in a brief package, with a happy ending to tie it all together.

This story centers on Eldin, an alpha who feels compelled to intervene when he encounters Oleander, a distressed omega, at an auction. Eldin must buy someone at the auction, and witnessing the dire state Oleander is in, he chooses him. What follows is a dynamic full of tension, emotion, and witty banter—the connection between these two characters is electric, flecked with humor and a natural rapport that makes their developing relationship truly enjoyable.

One of the standout storylines is Eldin’s commitment to tracking down and holding accountable the alpha who hurt someone he cares about, adding a layer of justice and determination to the plot beyond the romance itself.

The writing style balances intense, spicy scenes (be warned: this is a very, very spicy story, definitely a 5/5 on the scale) with heartfelt character interactions and moments of levity. The pacing is swift, befitting the novella length, and there’s a clear sense of purpose driving every scene toward its satisfying conclusion.

This is my first time reading K.C. Carmine’s work, and The Bound Omega is my introduction to their writing style. I actually have longer books by this author on my TBR, and after finishing this story, I’m moving directly on to those—I’m already excited to experience more from them.

If there’s one thing I wish for, it’s more—more time with Eldin and Oleander, more story, and more glimpses into their lives together beyond this tale. I would eagerly read a sequel, an extended edition, or even a logbook-style companion.

Very steamy gay Omegaverse with touching moments
For such a short book this one does a remarkable job giving the reader a complete story of a snippet in time AND a very satisfying HEA. Secrets and revelations will be revealed.
Eldin is on a mission. He needs to find the alpha who kidnapped his sister. He will not rest until that is done. When he gets word that Snake will be attending the upcoming auction of omegas, he makes his plan. What he did not anticipate was seeing Oleander a battered and muzzled omega bound to a dolly, thrashing about because he was denied being serviced during his heat; Eldin knows that Ole might die without him. For Ole and Eldin things may end well, but will Eldin see Snake meet his retribution? That and more will be revealed in this novelette. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book. If you enjoy explicit omegaverse books, you will want to read this one.

I loved Eldin and Oleander. Eldin was trying to catch the person who kidnapped and murdered his sister. He also expects they're responsive for kidnapping many other people. Eldin went to a slave to buy a a slave so he could catch the person at the end of the trial. Eldin picked up one of the slaves that nobody would bid because he was in heat and he was dangerous but Eldin wanted to be close to his target when he could get out of the building

Eldin is out for revenge on Snake, who kidnapped and killed his sister. In doing so, he finds his mate in Ole, who was sold to Snake by his sister. I don't read many stories like this. I definitely think there could be more to Eldin and Ole's story. I hope we get more. I enjoyed this short story. Just be sure to read the triggers.

In this short novella, Eldin attends an Omega auction to track his sister's killer and buys a need Omega who catches his eye for one night only. It's a crazy night of servicing Ole until his denied heat passes and then Eldin is able to exact his revenge. It's short and spicy and you can't help but love Eldin with his gentleness and compassion. I received a copy of this book and this is my voluntary opinion.

The Bound Omega is a dark novelette that I really enjoyed. Eldin who is working undercover to bring down an alpha who kidnaps omegas goes to an omega auction where he Oleander an omega who needs help with his heat. This was a steamy spicy story. I love how K. C. writes the characters. I really wanted the story to continue because I was enjoying it so much. I really hope we get more books set in this world. I would definitely recommend this book.

Rescued

Eldin had one thing on his mind when he walked in that auction warehouse, to stay long enough to capture the man that kidnapped and killed his sister. What he got was bidding on his future.
Ole was a prisoner and tied up because he was in heat and no one to help him until he was bidded on by a kind alpha. Together, they are stronger because they are mates.

This a quick lil 90 minutes read with some darkish themes to it...

Eldin is attempting to shut down a trafficking ring that sells Omegas during their heats on the one night a year, Alphas are left to act on their "instincts"...

Oleander... An unwilling participante in being sold... Is on the verge of going crazy from his heat...

This unlikely pairing are left to see if real trust can be formed between an Omega with no reason to believe a word thst comes out of an Alpha's mouth... And, an Alpha who has been chasing his past regrets without being able to see a future...
