"Who would’ve thought a snowman kidnapping the woman he fell in love with at first sight, would melt her cold heart."
One of the best books in the series, the chemistry was off the charts and I loved every minute of it. December was so intense, but he knew what he wanted and went after it, and Raine had to figure out how to make it all work.
The kidnapping trope worked so well for this story, I can't blame Mr Angel for going through with it, he had his reasons okay? Okay.
Even though the book ended on a happy note, there were some sad moments throughout. But overall it was such a fun and slightly unhinged read, I love the stories M Monique's brain comes up with.
I may need to seek help because I love a good kidnapping turned love story❣️ And this one was done right.
December was determined to give his mother her last wish, and in doing so he didn't realize how much it would give him in return. He was instantly in love with Raine and set out to make her his, even if it was against her will at first. Since Raine was near December and he was applying all the pressure she was unable to deny their connection. I loved how December didn't care about anyone else's opinions and instead went all the way in for them.
There was death, family drama, secrets, jealousy, and enough plot to keep you entertained. I also wouldn't call it a Christmas story but there were a few sweet moments.
4⭐️ - This started off completely unhinged and blossomed into a beautiful love story! I enjoyed every single moment. I might just have to say, December is officially my favorite month now. 🤭😏
Did all the parents/parental figures really have a terminal illness. I think if you told me this was a fated mates dynamic that made December do a full 180 to the point of kidnapping Raine I would not question the timeline but I am 🤭 It was fine but some things didn't make sense.
This whole series has been entertaining to say the least 😂
CN: parental death (cancer), death after giving birth, strangulation, gun violence,
I truly enjoyed this story author Monique couldn’t do no wrong. Yes it was fast paced but it was a good fast paced were everything fell in to place articulated very well and made you want more to read about December and Raine’s life and dynamic especially their heavy chemistry and romance. Their love story was unconventional but unique and swoon worthy. A great holiday read !! Plus I truly loved December and Raine’s personalities ‼️
Wooo, this is my first book my M. Monique, and let me just say .. I AM A FAN!
This story ate down from the beginning to the end. Who knew that a man kidnapping a woman could me feel so many emotions due the goodness of the plot.
December Angel may be menace, but I love a man that doesn’t stop until he gets what he wants. 😂😛
Raine … I love her. She’s tough on the outside but that’s only because she’s been through sooo much. I truly felt for my girl. As much as I hate to say it … I’m glad she finally opened up and let December Angel love her. 🥺 She deserved that man.
The ending. The ending took me out because … why would you do that? Berkeley … WHY MONIQUE? 😮💨
This was a beautiful love story. M.Monique you've done it again. This was a fairly short story, but I loved every minute of it. Death, lies and love. What a way to end a13 book colab. Just read the damn book.
Honestly, M Monique is THAT girl! December was a little off his rockers but that man loved HARD! And really was not with the shiii!
Raine knew she had to get the program…like girl 🙄 it was love at first sight for both of ya! Now, I understand her reservations but danggg girl loosen up on my boy! He just tryna love you!
I’m glad she got answers for most of her questions and December just being there to help her through it all. Whewww too good!
December?! I love you baby! You can snatch me up ANYDAY
I was def not expecting the kidnapping like yea it’s in the name but I wasn’t expecting it to happen Like it did. I’ll glad Raine got everything she deserved. She deserved and craved real love and I’ll glad December could give her that.
This story was cute and the family and dysfunctional family aspect really drove everything home for me. Christmas is about family and I’m glad we got to see that in this story. I’m also glad she got all the closure she needed to heal.
One thing M.Monique gonna do is write a top tier book boyfriend. Who cares about a little light kidnapping. December Angel was perfection. I knew I would love him from the first time he kissed Raine outside the funeral home. He stood on business about her from day one. I loved the pacing. Raine wasn’t sold at first but her transition didn’t lag or jump too quickly. She also openly discussed her concerns with her man vs believing the other woman. Yauna still needed a beat down in my opinion 🙄. Had some sad moments but overall loved it. Definitely recommend.
M Monique don’t miss! I expected this book to be straight shenanigans. Nope, this lady had me shedding tears. Were there unhinged moments? Of course! The man kidnapped her. Does it make me unhinged because I understood why he kidnapped her? Possibly! Either way, I just loved their love, and the plot of it all was a page turner. Y’all go read this book!
This was a good read. December literally manifested and spoke their relationship into existence. And used any means necessary to get there. I enjoyed the banter between him and Raine, also her blossoming relationships with his friends and family.
Note that this story discusses cancer, grief, depression and death
The plot twist was not only real but bananas! I never would have saw those coming at all! He was putting nothing but straight pressure when it came to her
It really should be a crime the way you write these books Ms. Monique! I’m talking about hard time and no visitation for you the way you have me in a chokehold with EVERY👏🏾SINGLE 👏🏾CHARACTER! I’ve read everything you’ve written (oftentimes over and over again 😝) and you continue to outdo yourself with each story. December knew EXACTLY who he wanted and did whatever was necessary to make sure that he and Raine lived happily ever after. His crazy was juuuuuust enough to have me concerned that he should probably talk to “the lady” but also look at him like 😏😛 because crazy is really the new cute 😂😂😂 Thanks for this delightful Christmas treat and I can’t wait for the next one! ❤️
As someone that completely disregarded the cover and downloaded it because I thought it was about an actual snowman, not a Jeezy type snowman...this book was such a treat.
It tackles grief head on in a way that is surprising for a book so short. It also beautifully weaves in a story of familial love and forgiveness.
Bonus points because the MMC is a complete lunatic and kidnaps the FMC.
Kidnapped by the Snowman is a captivating, whirlwind romance that perfectly balances humor, drama, and heartwarming moments. At the center of the story is December Angel, an MMC who’s trying to leave his days as a “dope man” behind and step up into a more mature, stable life. With his mother’s health declining, December feels the pressure of her one heartfelt request: to find a woman he can settle down with, giving her the comfort of knowing he won’t be alone when she’s gone. Driven by this promise, he vows to introduce his new girlfriend by Thanksgiving. Enter Raine, a fierce and guarded woman who has been hardened by loss. After losing her adoptive parents, Raine retreats from the world, only to be drawn back into the fray when she’s called to a small town for the reading of her biological father’s will. Despite her apprehensions, she arrives only to find herself unwelcome by the locals. Yet, her undeniable beauty and spirit catch the attention of December, who is determined to win her over. When his relentless advances don’t work, he takes a drastic—and wildly unconventional—step: kidnapping her to make her his. This book is a fast-paced and engaging read that delivers all the elements of a compelling romance. The playful, laugh-out-loud moments balance the more serious and heartfelt scenes, keeping readers invested in December and Raine’s journey. The chemistry between the characters is electric, and their interactions are as entertaining as they are intense. The story also weaves in suspense and intrigue, with enough twists and turns to keep you flipping pages long into the night. It’s a quick, entertaining read that delivers all the feels and leaves you smiling—and maybe even a little breathless—by the end.
If you’re looking for a Christmas story packed with heart, heat, and a sprinkle of hood drama, Kidnapped by the Snowman by M. Monique is the perfect pick! This was my first book by this author, and I was so impressed. I love a kidnapping trope, but when you tie that in with a BDE male main character who’s a ruthless kingpin yet has a soft spot for the FMC? That’s the kind of story that captures my heart every time.
The story follows December, a kingpin caring for his terminally ill mother, and Rain, a woman reeling from a devastating loss last Christmas. Their paths cross by chance, and together, they make a pact to give December’s mom the best last Christmas imaginable. To make it work, they pretend to date—but as the holiday spirit takes hold and sparks fly, their fake relationship turns into something real.
Rain’s grief and guarded nature perfectly balance December’s strength and determination, creating a dynamic and heartfelt connection between the two. December’s willingness to be vulnerable around Rain, especially as he juggles his role as a kingpin and his love for his mother, made him such a captivating character. Meanwhile, Rain’s resilience and ability to open her heart again added so much depth.
This story had everything—holiday vibes, raw emotion, and a romance that had me hooked from start to finish. With its gritty hood backdrop and tender moments of love and healing, this was the perfect mix of spice and heart.
M. Monique delivered an unforgettable story that was equal parts tender, spicy, and deeply emotional. This book gave me all the feels, and I’ll definitely be diving into more of this author’s work!
"I’m tryna wife his daughter.” is the 🥵 phrase coming from an MMC around 14% who has only seen the FMC once 😂. That's when I knew I hit Jackpot. This man was mad crazy but if you love ladynapping stories and the fake dating trope, this is right up your alley. The characters are great. The romance took center stage as we watched December go head first in love and melt down all of Raine's walls. Wallowing in depression Raine wasn't truly living after her adoptive parents died, but then she went to her bio father's funeral and everything kicked up. December's crazy tale was smitten at first blush. 14%, he was like lady, nah, that's my wife. 😂 She didn't even know his name, and he was already claiming she was going to have his. This dude said baby I lost 8 hours of sleep over you, so you need to make it up to me." Huh, my guy, she doesn't know you! But Raine needed someone who would come correct and love her. All of her. He decided since she refused to give him a chance that ladynapping was the next way to date and woo her, duh. 🤣 This was a solid story and effort. I like how this author sets up a tale, and even though street people are involved, I never feel like this is a low-budget Tubi movie. I this is clearly Lifetime or BET+ original content level.
🎶 Do you wanna build a snowman ⛄️ 🎶 if they’re kidnapping ✅serving up a heavy dose of BDE ✅ wealthy AF ✅ with their foot on the gas behind me ✅ the ONLY correct answer is ABSOLUTELY yes!!
BayBeeeeeyyyyy December MF Angel was my favorite snowman of them all!!!! I mean the man walked into a room and his presence alone spoke volumes!
After his mother was handed a terminal diagnosis, she only had one wish for her baby boy and that was to find love and make her a grandmother before it was too late! She wanted him to experience the love of a partner and have a true rider by his side.
December being who he was, it would’ve been a cake walk to find anyone to help him deliver his mother’s last dying wish but he didn’t want just anyone, he wanted Raine Nicholas and was willing to do ANYTHING to get her!
After crossing paths with December, Raine knew he was nothing to play with and she wanted to be as far away from him as possible. But when it’s right not even a kidnapping that results in being locked in a room until you have a change of heart can keep you from falling in love 😩😩
I love when we have a confident MFC that knows her worth and a cocky MMC that is THAT nigga, falls first and puts diamond pressure behind claiming his woman! This story gave me all the feels and left my heart smiling! ❤️🎄🎁🎅🏿🤶🏾🥰
I mean, if a sexy, successful young man wants to whisk me away in the name of love—kidnapping or not—I think I might just embrace the thrill of the moment! Sure, December may have chosen the most outrageous way to express his feelings, but the way he treats Raine with unwavering respect and devotion (aside from the whole abduction thing) speaks volumes about his character. The contrast between December's warm, welcoming family and Raine's estranged relatives adds an intriguing layer to their story. It’s fascinating to watch Raine instantly connect with December's family, almost like she’s discovering something she never knew she needed. It's as if every laugh and shared moment is a piece of the puzzle filling a void in her heart. The passionate spark that ignites between them is absolutely intoxicating! Seeing Raine gradually shed her resentment about being taken has a certain magic to it. She allows December to pull her into a level romance that feels real and raw, transforming her initial reluctance into an exhilarating journey of love. Who would have thought that a kidnapping could lead to such an unexpected and beautiful connection?
Wow. December was…dare I say it…my BookBae. I’ve never used that term, but see I like that man. He’s right up there with man Blue. I don’t agree with how he got my girl Raine, but hey there was method to his madness. The secrets revealed were plentiful, but the love that blossomed between the two was beautiful. Of all the hurt Raine experienced, she still chose to give grace to everyone around her even when they didn’t deserve it. December was ruthless, but he was also very intentional. He set out to ease his mother’s pain, but found a wife in the process. Ms. Carol was an angel and so was Berkeley. His letter tore me up. I’m glad the sisters came around too, even if they did get on my nerves. I’m glad Yauna and Fox didn’t disrupt the story took much either. I wouldn’t have minded more interactions with B and Coda too—I feel like love is coming for B.
This book was so good. When I say M.Monique don’t miss I mean that. I liked the reference she used to December being named the snowman. Raine went through so much especially after her adopted parents died. She got the call that her biological father put her in the will. She left and went to the funeral but it was something about Raine that December couldn’t shake so he kidnapped her. He only thing because he promise his Mom that she was see him happy in a relationship before she passed. It was like the only person that Raine felt some connection to was Berkeley but he was also sick and living in his last days. Berkeley knew Raine needed a change of scenery and he didn’t want her to know he was about to die. Raine ended up falling in love with December after all. So glad Raine and December got they happily ever after and his Mom got to witness it.
Hmmm, why did I enjoy “Kidnapped By The Snowman (The Snowman Series - Book 13)? Now I’m the weirdo🤭‼️…I guess stranger things have/could/will happened🥴🤷🏾♀️. Nonetheless, December surely adored his mother. A felony, is risky, narcissistic & was extreme love! Make me some oh my God Alexa turn off crimson Master light Alexa turn on amethyst Master bedroom plug I'm hurting oh Alexa turn off mass amethyst Master bedroom ugh have beans beans who oh oh Alexa turn on the family room light please Because the notion of this momma’s boy fulfilling her dying wish “by any means necessary” & compounding a “dating” lie with a meet and greet 🫣😬. WHAT!? Only a masochist! Hmmm, legitimate opinions: “date her” nope, “wine & dine her” nope!..”kidnap her” yup 👍🏾 😄🫣‼️Snatch & love, somehow it all worked out for Raine & December 🤦🏾♀️😘‼️
Raine was living a nice peaceful quiet life until she got summons about her biological dad's will. They were all mad because he left mostly everything to her. December kissed Raine at her dad's funeral. It's was like an obsession with December because he told his mama he has a girlfriend. Then him and Fox fell out. The sisters took on their mammy's attitude because what did Raine do to but exist? The kidnapping brought them closer with them sexing and everything. You know there's all ways a hater Yauna, she is in love with December but he didn't pay her no mind. He is all about Raine and his mama. Now they are a happy family because that doctor didn't know what he was talking about. Losing Berkley hurt her to the core, but she is forever thankful the set up because she wouldn't have been kidnapped by December.
I just completed the Snowman series with Kidnapped by the Snowman by the very talented @M Monique The Author . I'm not going to call you in front of the Congregation today. I'm sure you will find yourself there soon. This story follows December and Raine. Let just start with he his unhinged, deranged unbalanced n crazed, etc. Who kidnaps a woman because she declines his offer for her to get to know him? December, that's who. Miss ma'am! You don't miss! I thoroughly enjoyed December delivering his mama's Christmas wish. I loved it! I tried really hard not to stop reading the other books to read this one when it was released. I mean, I battled. Thank you for this, and I look forward to reading Summer tomorrow. Happy reading!
