a super sweet story

I first found this story on Wattpad and enjoyed it. A few notes though. Editing really needed to be done here. I found some typos and some weird sentence structure that at times took away from the story. There were also some continuity issues that left some things feeling disjointed.

Additionally, there was some information that wasn’t expanded on that I feel like could have really enhanced the story. For instance, Milo’s father’s change of heart at the end? There was no explanation or reason really given and it seemed like a convenient ending to get a happily ever after.

I also think Milo’s sexual history and kinks could have been explained more. The writer missed an opportunity to really play with both character’s sexuality. But I did like the virgin MMC instead of FMC.

I know from the description the writer is from Manhattan but I think the fact Milo had a car that he drove often is a little weird considering the wealth and driving culture in the city. Maybe having an on call driver would have made more sense. Or living right outside of the city.

Small things like how fast a trial occurs, and being able to postpone a wedding last minute are not realistic so I wish the author could do some editing around real life details such as that.

But overall, I liked the dynamic between Milo and Rae especially their shared pain and support for each other. Good effort of first book of a young Black author. Would recommend.

what a pleasant surprise

So I have to admit I had this book saved, but for whatever reason I put off purchasing it. I read a few reviews and decided to go ahead and buy it. I’m so glad that I did. What a wonderful book. Sweet Milo really surprised me and I enjoyed Milo and Rae working through their traumas and developing their love story. I agree with the other go ahead and buy this book. It is a definite treat. The only issue I have are the grammatical errors started with roughly about 50 pages left. It was annoying, but I’m not gonna take a star for it. I think the author did great for her first book.

Picked this book for some reason I can't pinpoint tbh but it was quite nice. Although some of the story lines didnt make sense. I question if there was a third act conflict/breakup at all and I felt like some of the timelines were quite rushed. Also Raelynn's outburst with her family was quite out of the blue ? But I think their relationship was quite sweet and I loved how they were always there for one another. All in all, it is quite a sweet book if you have the ability to overlook the inconsistencies in the plot.

This book was so good, I 100% recommend it to anyone, except there is a tiny bit of smut, but there really isn't a lot of it. In my opinion it does play a part in there relationship, it's honestly more sweet than dirty to me at least. Its the fmc first time after being sexually assaulted and the mmc helps her feel comfortable and I really liked that

I am a sucker for sweet romances and this one was no exception. Although there were some grammar mistakes and some formatting mistakes, I didn’t take them seriously and in the end, it’s just a little cute romance story about character growth.

Was a good book but the spelling errors were killing me and they got progressively worse towards the end. Some sentences would skip words too, by the end of the book there was some confusion lol. Besides that good book!
