Born in Australia, raised in the UK, Alannah is a writer of both fiction & non-fiction, covering topics as diverse as capers in a campervan, the vagaries of living with an obsessive cyclist, travels Down Under, and tales ‘full of twists, turns & tickles’ based in Cornwall where she currently lives.
She lived in her Aussie birthplace for five years in her twenties, and managed to return to Old Blighty devoid of shark or snake bite. Mozzies, however, did love to use her for target practice!

So this was todays ebook read at.. chrrmmm... work. :D I enjoyed this tiny story, although the end was a bit.. anti-climatic for me. sorry, spoiler: the idea was to find leek from a farmer, because in a supermarket it would have been too easy. so when returning home and finding her sister cooking leek, then i´m quite sure that was leek from the supermarket, now wasn´t it? I don´t know if i´m being too strict here, but i feel the need to defend the welsh farmers here. haha. :) now i will ask my sister how she sees the leek-situation in her chosen homecountry :)
